Hello everybody, I just released my second track and I think some of you might find it of interest. In contrast to my first this track this one has quite a bit more edge and aggression. I apologize for the shameless self promotion, but all I want is for people to enjoy my art! So please check it out and any constructive criticism is more than welcome.

Long time site member here. I'm here to share my music with this forum and this seems to be the appropriate place to do so.

My music is influenced by Tool, Aphex Twin, Mushuggah, Animals As Leaders, and Puscifer amongst others. On a closing note this piece leans towards psychedelic and ambient, I hope you enjoy.

posted a message on When Will Beta Begin?
I voted for August, mostly to be on the moderately safe side. With what is essentially the alpha phase starting last week one would think that the beta would start somewhere around three months after(which is typical alpha phase length, correct me if I'm wrong), barring major delays obviously but I believe SC2 for example, was held up in internal testing due to battle.net complications right? That seems unlikely to be a snag in Diablo 3's development.

Once a game reaches the testing phase generally the games production schedule becomes a bit more regimented, meaning now they have time frames that they are aiming to achieve. These time frames are established due to precedence, so what I'm trying to say is that Blizzard is saying Q3 2011 because they genuinely believe it will be out then. I would say as early as July 18th but my gut says August 8th.

posted a message on Beard Discussion Thread
I prefer a beard myself or at least facial hair to some extent. I have been wearing facial hair since probably 8th grade and have stuck with it since. I have been wearing a beard for about a year now thats pretty full with exception of shaving underneath my jaw to keep it looking well kept and trimmed for work.

posted a message on Activision Blizzard Q4 2010 Financial Results Conference Call
The conference wasn't surprising in the least. It has been fairly clear that Diablo 3 for some time was planned for a late 2011 release. But now we are getting close to the point of release and now that Blizzard must share information pertaining to said release (for shareholder purposes) they must cover all aspects of it and deem that the release of Diablo 3 may take place either in late 2011 or early 2012. Neither of these outcomes are surprising or really in the grand scheme of things much better than the other.

I'm mainly displeased with fan reaction. Some people obviously protect themselves from disappointment by saying that the game will be out in late 2012 or 2013 so they aren't surprised, when in saying that they clearly overlook the facts. The same can be said for individuals who only up until the calendar year turned to the year 2011 thought Diablo 3 would be released in 2010, when again they seem to be overlooking the facts for some reason unbeknownst to me. But these people that thought the release would come much earlier than it has now cry out in rage that the game might come out in 2012, like they will have to wait two more years.

The game is at the point of development where calendar years really are of little relevance anymore. It is now a matter of months. When you put it in those terms we are in all likelihood nine to twelve months away from release. Which believe me isn't bad at all. I myself have been waiting for this game since 2003. I would search the internet for information pertaining to even a hint that this game was in the making. I even remember visiting this site when it was Diablo3.com back in 2004 or 2005, I can't remember when this site got started up.

The point of my speech being. Chill out. It is a game, that is not being made directly for you as an individual, but for us a collective whole. Blizzard makes great games, yes they are more corporate in their ideals now but that comes with the territory. The game will be out "soon" and it will be fun. Have a nice day.

posted a message on Pre Beta Theorycrafting Barb Skills
Correct me if I am wrong but it is my impression that you may only choose seven skills in Diablo 3. All of the passive skills have been mutated into the new trait system which is a hybrid attribute modifying/passive skill system. As a result the design team felt it pertinent to restrict the number of active skills you can select(all the skills available in the skill tree are now only active) to the number of slot you have available in your skill bar and mouse, which is seven.

This makes sense seeing as how currently there are no passive synergies between skills resulting in no need to have points in any skills you will not be using (and you can couple this with the lack of skill pre-req's).

I would say August-September but it is not an option. My exact date is the 13th of September I think? I believe it is a Tuesday.

posted a message on Wizard Looks Good in New Item Set
As I said on diii.net, it looks like something Lady Gaga would wear. Seriously though, most of the problems with the gear looks seem to come from the head wear. So hopefully it looks much better in-game, and I assume that it will. Asides from the helmet I like the design and feel of the armor, but it still isn't doing anything to make me want to play him. The male Wizard looks like a pussy in my opinion.

posted a message on Plinkett Movie Reviews
I enjoyed the Phantom Menace review a lot, especially the character analysis portion. His sense of humor is dead-on for the angle he is pursuing, that being that even an idiot can see and analize how much a pile of shit that movie was (in a satyrical manner).

All three votes to Iris. I felt it was the most complete original idea and I actually would be intrigued to see Blizzards take on the concept.

posted a message on Get Ready for Blizzcon, DiabloFans!
The fifth class and it's standard release video(s) is a given. We may see a few other official videos demonstrating in-game systems and features, such as PvP, trading, talisman, etcetera. Maybe a new snip-it of some cinematic footage? But I feel like I'm being hopeful there.

My main hope is that the feeling of openness about the games information that was conveyed in Gamescon is carried over to Blizzcon. An example of this is how Jay in the interviews talked far more confidently and openly about the game than in years past, and with the inevitable release of new information coming soon we can hope that the information we receive will be rich in detail. Along with the more open presentation perhaps talk about the beta and release dates won't be shot down as it always has been with previous Blizzcons and other events and some solid information might be garnered. By this I mean of course that the beta will be "soon" and the release will be in 2011. One can hope.
