I like how Diablo is the center of attention on the symbol of the event. It might finally be the time! Then we'll get to wait two years for it come out...

I'm not too excited about Pokemon Trainer. The article said that the Pokemon have something called stamina which makes it so you have to use each one around the same time and not switch too frequently. Because of the stamina feature, each Pokemon has to play pretty well and fun for me to really enjoy the character since I'll have to use all of them. If I hate one of the Pokemon, it's going to be annoying to play as Pokemon Trainer 1/3 of the time. We'll see how it goes though. It could be a fun character to play as.

posted a message on Diablo 3 Confirmed At Leipzeg
It's just speculation. Notice how there is a question mark after 'Diablo III' and after 'World of Sanctuary.'

The person who made it didn't have an intention of it beeing official, it's just a prediction, or rather, a hope.

I know u probably will, but seriously i was just trying to prove how the butcher is a big part of diablo

Yeah, it would be awesome if he could be worked into Diablo 3. It wouldn't make sense at all (unless it was a prequel maybe) but it would be cool nonetheless. I bet Blizzard could figure a way to work him in that would fit with the plot. If Diablo can come back, so can the Butcher (I hope).

    http://www.blizzard.com/jobopp/artist-lead-3d-character.shtml
Talks about a Lead 3D Character Artist for an unannounced PC project. It very well could be D3.

    http://www.blizzard.com/jobopp/art-lead-3d-environment.shtml
A link you've probably already seen. Lead 3D environment artist for Blizzard, "the developer of Diablo and Diablo II"

    http://www.blizzard.com/jobopp/artist-senior-3d-character.shtml
Senior 3D character artist. Again, uses "team behind Diablo I and II"

    http://www.blizzard.com/jobopp/art-3dback.shtml
3D background artist. Uses "the developer of Diablo and Diablo II"

    http://www.blizzard.com/jobopp/senior-3d-character-animator.shtml
Senior 3D character Animatior. Uses " The team behind Diablo I and II"

Those are all of the jobs that the job descriptions seem to be connected with Diablo. It's likely there are more, but the descriptions give me no reason to draw that conclusion.I'm going to post this here as well as PM it to you so other people can see it too.

As for other info, this site's home page has everything important that I am aware of.

the butcher is a classic character for all us because ten years from now if we all can only remember one thing about diablo1 it will probably be the butcher

Really? I think I'll remember Diablo from Diablo in ten years.

Well, I'm pretty new here so I can't say I missed you because I never knew you were gone. So I guess I'll go with I don't know if my love for you is that strong yet. Hopefully my love for you will grow though.

There probably are a descent number playing still. Lots of people like to take a trip down memory lane. I played it about 2 years ago and there were lots of people.

posted a message on How do you make an avatar?
You can use any number of programs. If you just take it from a wallpaper, like Zubin suggests, you can just use something like Paint or whatever you want to use to crop pictures. If you want to make your own, programs like Photoshop or Frieworks work well, but they aren't free. Gimp is a program that you can get for free that's a bit more complex than your average photo editor so that could be a good choice.

It is clear that we are facing an Evil difficult to comprehend, let alone combat. There is only one Horadrim Sage, schooled in the most arcane history and lore, who could help us... his name is Deckard Cain. You must travel to Tristram. I pray that he still lives.

    Increase my points please.

posted a message on Off topic Ps3 vs Xbox360
No, the PS3 actually has 512 MB of RAM. The 360 has a unified memory architecture (the GPU and CPU share the 512 MB of RAM). The PS3, however, takes a different approach. The GPU of the PS3 has 256 MB of the same type RAM that the 360 uses, GDDR3 VRAM at 700MHz, except that the PS3 has the advantage of VRAM instead of just RAM, which the 360 uses. The PS3's CPU, however, uses 256MB XDR Main RAM at 3.2GHz. The 360 has shared RAM, all running at 700MHz, while the PS3 has half VRAM at the speed of the 360's while the other half is much faster.

Now, while the GDDR3 VRAM and XDR Main RAM are meant to be used in the GPU and CPU respectively, they can share when one or the other needs more.

The PS3's RAM is much faster, as MijnWraak brought up earlier, and there is the same amount, contrary to what many of you have been saying. The 360 and PS3 took different approaches here. The PS3's architecture definitely costs more, but it can also provide better results (if developers take advantage of it). The 360's approach was more of a 'the performance should be good enough that it's not worth the extra cost.'

posted a message on My Box Cover
So yeah, this is my first (completely serious, I swear) attempt at a Diablo 3 box cover. I have a way with art, they've said. Don't be surprised to see this bad boy on the cover of Diablo 3 when it comes out.

And Blizzard, I'll tell you what I tell every developer: You can use my box cover, but you have to give me 95% of all profits earned on the game. It'll be well worth it for you.

You'd have to not have a soul to not buy a game with this as its cover.
