    Wow, easy there tiger! ;)

You forgot to explain the letter grading system in combination with the GS, GSO, GT, GTS, GTX, GTX+. I think that's all of them, and in lowest to highest performance.

You also forgot to mention that the 9xxx series is nearly identical to the 8xxx series, plus a couple cards, but they just cost more.

Yes, a lot of Aphex Twin is straightforward obnoxious techno, but have you heard the album I'm talking about?

If one is looking for more acoustic band type of relaxing music, I can always recommend Nick Drake, Elliott Smith, or even Beck's Sea Change album.

I wouldn't generalize techno as obnoxious, I really like a lot of Melodic Hardstyle. Aphex Twin is like an Acid-Drum & Bass with Electro. It's mostly just kind of harsh on the ears. That said, "SAW VII" is a completely different animal. Okay, so I haven't listened to all of it, or even most of it, but what I have heard is very mind fuckish, and is intended to trip you out. Its not as harsh as most of RJ's other stuff and there are actual melodies for a change!! O_O :hehe:

I still think his best album was "I Care Because".

I dunno. When I think relaxing music, I don't think electro/trance/techno, I think of mellow guitar with vocals, or even just vocals. Such as:

I've never heard of a song called Tubular Bells, I know that is a kind of instrument. Who does the song?

Ya know, I gotta agree with Mars, Aphex Twin is downright aggravating.

But since we're in the techno genre, I'll point Mars to Armin Van Buuren. Since melodic trance fits significantly better with the previous songs that he already linked, plus you can relax to it.:D

I'll go one more and point out Eddie Vedder (lead singer of Pearl Jam). He has some incredibly beautiful music that he has released since performing solo.

The arrows are just to show character level progression and not prequisites. The only prerequisite would be the same skills previous level.

The pools just limit your choic of skills for that level but allow you choice.

You are much more patient than I would have been trying to explain that. lol

But yeah, the pool idea that you came up with is the same basic design that I got in my head when Blizz mentioned "Skill poin pool". I think you're dead on the money. It seems like this skill pool would be a very efficient way of leveling, and would promote using more varied skills in the end game. I think Blizz has learned a lot from the DI, DII, and WoW in the skill leveling department.

Hey Scipio, I completely agree with ya. Obviously DIII won't require SLI/Xfire, and overclocking isn't dangerous at all, as long as you have decent cooling and keep your temps within a respectable range. I've OC'd my CPU from 3.1 to 3.8Ghz, and under full load in Prime95 it stays under 38. Air cooled with the Sunbeam 120 Core Contact.

Honestly, I wouldn't get too worked up over Romantix, he seems like a troll. 10 posts, his location says "Fucks it to ya?". And then he explodes at ya on simple obvious facts. Yep, sounds like a troll to me.

Besides, no matter what you say. You will get bored of it.
And this might decrease sales. Since they´ll lose a lot of casual players. They had a taste, now they don´t want more.

You gotta remember though, tons of us are still playing DII a DECADE later. lol.

Personally, I'd play the demo every day for a week or so, and after that, at least once a week until the full game comes out.

Quite clear an answer isn't going to be provided, so for those of you wondering the answer is tunneling; roughly analogous to the natural phenomenon known as quantum tunneling wherein matter appears to penetrate a medium without resistance. In short, when using a fixed timestep simulation (ie., sampling the simulation state at fixed intervals) there is the possibility with [most often] fast, small-moving objects that a collision will not be detected due to the object's ability to traverse the extent of another between samplings.

So next time you observe a missile appearing to "go straight though" an object in a game then you know what to attribute it to; alot of older FPS's have this problem.

Dude, I actually knew that! O_O I wasn't sure if that was the answer you were looking for though, its been a long time since I took a modeling class.

@Crosby8766: Yes, you most likely will be able to play DIII, as long as Blizzard supports that graphics chip.

Interesting. That kind of reminds me of Binaural Beats, but Paul Collier's stuff actually has a melody to it. Binaural Beats is specific frequencies of sound arranged in a way to actually change the way the brain operates while you're listening. Really interesting stuff.

I made a short list of music that helps me chill out when I've had a rough day, or after dealing with my best friend after he's gone from "Cool Garren" to "Drunk Garren".:\

I'm sure you probably already know this classic guitar solo though.

I had to take a break from metal and hard rock for a while and eventually made my way to these. This is some more contemporary music I listen to when I want to chill out.

Or pretty much anything in the Indie Folk music genre.

I know right. That was a time when the active population on D3.com was a fraction of what it is now.

In DII and LOD, yeah summoning I guess (I don't really consider that a caster since you aren't actually dealing any damage). But my favorite way to play is really more how I play a Necro in Eastern Sun. I'm significantly more melee with a few tanks following me around soaking and dealing some damage for me, and I even PN for crowd control. That hits 3 styles IMO. Summon, Caster, and Melee.

Without question, the majority of the Diablo community is dumb panicky animals. But the core group of HARDCORE Diablo players (the ones that are here, and the ones that continued to play, steady or on and off, for all of these years)

But yeah, if it became a demo for anyone and everyone to play... not only would Battle.net forums be flooded with crap and spam, but so would ours. Not to say that it won't anyways when the game is released. lol

Umm this is kind of missing half a dozen play styles isn't it? I prefer summoning while getting into the thick of the fight myself. That combination doesn't work with your two available choices.

Yeah, I'm a greedy sob as well. Give me the game now, and I'll give them feedback on problems and bugs now, that way Blizz can do the game right the first time. The community will test the limits of the game in ways that the Blizz employees can not.

mmio does not implicitly consume memory; it is simply an abstraction to facilitate a unified method for addressing devices over the address bus.

Then Photoshop is an exception to the rule, and in any case, can still be installed.

The only software I personally run from from that list is Firefox [the rest are taken from friends]

Something there just seems fundamentally wrong. 23 processes?!?! Nearly half of that is svchost.exe. You can't be running anything!

For instance, I switched to Win Classic just like you, I shut off every single application save for Avast. Now when I say everything, I mean I even turned off Explorer, and I was only able to get down to .947GB. But after some more searching, aparently Win 7 Basic can run on freakishly low RAM systems. 1 GB it will run no problem, and I even found a couple instance of Win 7 Basic running off of 512MB. Albeit barely, and with virtually zero installed applications aside from an antivirus.

So I admit when I'm wrong. Yes it is possible to run Win 7 BASIC x86 (not Win 7 Ultimate x64) with 1 GB or even 512MB of RAM. Do I think 1GB will be able to run Diablo III? Yes, but barely, since SCII's bare minimum requirement for the beta is only 1GB. Although, I can guarantee that SCII or DIII will run with incredibly slow loading times, the lowest graphical settings, and FPS will probably be in the 20's. Now some of that will still depend on the video card, so if you're running Windows 7 with 1GB of RAM but happen to slap in a 5970 with 2GB of RAM, then I would assume there will be much better performance. But who ever heard of gaming with more RAM in your graphics card than in the rest of your system!!
