So unfortunately I don't see much possibility this is Inarius. The lack of symbol seems like it may not be Imperius either though, so who knows.

I know Inarius was imprisoned and all that, but who says that an Angel can't regrow their wings? How can an Angel, made of sound and light, have skin? I still think that we will see Inarius in some way, shape or form in D3. I actually think we will have an appearance by most Angels, Imperius, Inarius, Auriel, Malthael, Tyrael, Itherael, and possibly even Izual.

Could it be that Ureh is the imprisionment site of some unknow arch-angel... and that is why it is said that even Diablo, the Lord of Terror himself, feared the city??
Maybe... the original consort of Lilith... i forget his name...

Now that i think about it... it could also be Tyrael using the city, and what lies beneath it as a some sort of Barring Demons From Entering Sanctuary Device...

Wait, when did someone say that Diablo was afraid of Ureh. It was just a city caught halfway between Heaven and Hell, and inhabited by ghosts. Nothing that big D couldn't handle.

Wow, there are a few new things that I notice about that single barbarian picture.

One, the barb is all jacked up. He must have 20 slices on his body. REAL TIME DAMAGE anyone?

Two, the blood is staying on the ground!!!! WOOT!!

Three, it looks like they lengthened the time of the bodies remaining, due to how far away some are from the barb.

Also, I see pieces of frozen zombie, and pieces of a non-frozen zombie strew about. Limb hacking in action?

As for the Angel picture, it looks to me like he is guarding a portal to (hell, heaven, worldstone ruins, etc), rather than exiting the portal. Also, no upturned sword on the chest of this Angel, so I think Imperius is out, and Inarius is back in. Or perhaps the two pictures of angels with firey wings are two different angels. One is Inarius, and the other is Imperius. Perhaps joined forces??

Well, if the Director is completely deviating from the script, and the Producer doesn't like it, the Director can get fired. At that point, he will either get replaced and the film will go back on track, or the film will sit in limbo for years, dying a long, slow death.

Hopefully we are looking at getting back on track. But not to say that it was really that far off track to begin with.

a necro could come back (maybe with poisons and bone) but i dont know what else it could have..corpses dissapear so you couldn't really cast revives and skeletons...something tells me it would be like a warlock capturing souls to summon undead(or dead) soldiers then a bone skill tree then maybe a seperate tree for poisons or something completely different

we dont even know when the regular d3 is coming but we'll probably have to wait 3-4 years for an expansion

Everyone on this forum needs to read the Sin War Trilogy before spewing out opinions as fact.

The Necro does not need corpses to do anything. They use the energy of the spirits and souls not the actual corpse. In the Sin War, when something dies, the spirits linger. If there is a Necro nearby, they will gather to him/her, then the Necro can resurrect the soul into a physical spirit or resurrect exactly how it was in life, with a little dirt on it.

The more I think about it, there probably won't be a purely elemental class. Think about it, what good is a class that can only deal one kind of damage, when creatures can be completely immune to that damage. They won't want you to have to create a new game every time you stumble upon CI, FI, or LI, like in DII.

This sounds freaking amazing!!

They could incorporate this into the Thousand Pounder with his summoning. Say if you kill one of the sacrificial girls, he would come to life missing an arm or a leg or something, also symbolizing that he has less heath than normal.

Good job Blizzard. Way to go above and beyond!!

Are you serious? The whole game is about slaughtering millions upon millions of demons, undead, and monsters in the most horrific and graphic way possible.

If you have a problem with killing one little bunny rabbit, maybe you shouldn't buy the Mature Rated game.

Perhaps this game will suit your needs better.

I don't think there will be any bunny killing in that. Then again, the pony could step on the bunnies and crush their spinal columns with red blood and gore spraying all over the pink mane of the pony. Now that would be a pretty sight.

OT: It is good to see that Blizzard is actually reading what we write, and taking little bits of advice from us.

This is actually part of the reason why I detest playing online. After the first year or two of playing DII, I had about a 1 or 2 year hiatus. Then once I got back into playing again, it was only casually, as in an hour or two every other day. And since everything changed in that 1-2 years, I would have had to relearn basically everything, and I don't know all the acronyms and I don't know what anything is worth.

So I feel that a single currency would be a good thing to implement. Or at least like one of the above posters said, some sort of item value checking system.

1. The Witchdoctor has basically replaced the Necromancer in terms of gameplay, much to the dismay of many fans. But in an interview at the WWI, one of the developers stated that the Necromancer might still be in the game. My question is, what were your thoughts when designing the Witchdoctor in regards to the Necromancer? And do you think the Necromancer still has a chance to be a playable character?

2. We, at Diablofans.com, noticed that on the DiabloIII website, the Artwork Trailer was removed. Why was that? Also when will the DiabloIII.com website be updated next, and how often do you plan on updating it? Monthly, bimonthly, biweekly?

3. Since the Witchdoctor has replaced the Necromancer in terms of gameplay, and since the Amazon is a female only character, that makes two Diablo II characters that were removed from the playable classes. Will you be replacing other Diablo II classes with new characters? If so, how many would you like to replace with new characters? And how many different character classes have you all brainstormed over?

(Ugh that one was a 3 part question. That probably won't fly well with them. :()

Yeah, this is old news. But some people still may not have seen it.

I would like to hear an interview with a Blizzard rep about their opinion on this whole influx of people not agreeing fully with a few of the art design choices.

Medieval - Do you think you could get an interview scheduled sometime in the next month. I am really curious as to Blizzard's reaction.

And don't worry about watching the live stream tomorrow.

5 and a half means that they are gonna change the splash image tomorrow night too. They made it 5 and 1/2, because everyone thought that this was the last splash, due to WWI tomorrow.

They will completely remove the ice tomorrow at 12am, and you will see Diablo, in all his demonic glory.

Then they will announce the game on the 29th, Diablo's BDay, at the end of the convention, during the last 3 hours, where they only have something going on at the main stage. That way everyone can focus on the best thing to happen to gaming in 8 years.

Or they could announce it at the very beginning on both the main stage and the tournament stage, that way they don't have to be crammed into the one room. But I'm putting my money on the closing ceremony.

I wouldn't worry about staying up tonight fellas, it ain't gonna happen for at least 23 hours.
