The problem is that this spec is so much better than any other, that it becomes the only good spec. Why would I become a glass cannon and die repeatedly when I can take no damage and deal more damage with the exact same gear?
I'm surprised anyone is still playing this game though. It is incredibly boring.
Things that I enjoyed from Diablo 2 that are not in Diablo 3:
1. Let me teleport through walls with no cooldown
2. Multiply the drop rate of legendaries by 10
3. Runes/Runewords/More sockets/More gems/charms/Mods like ethereal and borrowed skills from other classes
Items aren't selling because more people are quitting, but also they banned all of the botters right before the launch of gold selling on RMAH. I was watching the price of skull grasps as this happened. They were at 35k+, then a week later they are now at 20k+.
I imagine anyone with lots of gold is dumping it to real money since they released gold selling on RMAH. Athene said he sold over 40 billion and gave it to charity.
There seems to be much less demand since there are much less people with the money to spend.
life on hit gives you a % of your character sheet LOH depending on the skill used per attack. If you have more attack speed, you will attack more often and therefore heal more often. Your attack speed doesn't modify the value of the heal.
If you want to exploit LOH as much as possible, you will want extremely fast weapons and stack "attack speed increased by X" gear.
You will also want to find an ability that converts LOH very well. For example, for a Wizard, the best LOH abilities are meteor, wicked wind, and spectral blades.
Here is a list of conversions for Wizards. You may be able to find something like this for your class if you look. http://us.battle.net...49154265?page=1
Aside from the fact that botters are selling for half price, I would venture to guess the devs have been tracking the prices of similar items and comparing the prices across the AHs and found $2.5 per mil as the correct price. The lowest items I've sold on the RMAH were worth at least 2m on the gold AH, and I didn't get much more than minimum bid....
That is what you call a mad 15 year old kid mad at video games. Not only does he not have any knowledge about hacking, it is also physically impossible to do it by a battletag alone.
I see the price of skull grasps goes up 2m every day. If I wanted to make 2m every day just to keep up with inflation I would have to play at least 4 hours a day. Fuck my life.
Here's a website full of videos of this build (and some slight variations/gear/etc) http://www.windupwizard.com/
His boots are worth 5 times my entire gear set combined
Man this spec requires some serious cash to throw down on gear and the damage isn't amazing either. Looks pretty OP though. I would have to say the tornado barb is like a million times more ridiculous though. If something needs a nerf, it should be them not us.
