posted a message on The Good Karma inc. President (you should read this)
This is a story of great generosity and I thought I should share it with you guys. It may be a bit long but you won't regret it ;)

I've been on this forum for a couple of years now, I've been very active and also I've been only lurking, but at the imminent arrival of D3 I thought I should check the forum to witness all the excitement of my fellow Dfans.
But I knew I would only see it and not experiment it because I didn't have a PC good enough to run the game, I had to spend the money I was saving because real life is complicated.

So I posted this in the URT to vent a bit of my disappointment, all those years waiting and speculating and debating about angels and demons, guessing classes and story lines and now I couldn't play the game, it was a downer.

Little I expected to find that a Dfans user would take action to prevent this, VegasRage, the most generous person I ever met, and I never even met him in real life, from the other side of the continent he offered to send me a computer (and to pay the shipment and all) to Argentina. You can guess my surprise and excitement, not every day one finds such a selfless person.

But that's not all, he sent the PC, but it was (and still is) stuck in commons, something about importing used stuff (it was a used pc). My first thought was "it was nice while it lasted", I told Vegas I couldn't receive the computer and that it was it, but he refused to give up. He decided to send me the money to buy a brand new PC here!!!

I couldn't believe it, I mean, this guy doesn't even know me! but he's willing to give me such a gift, is not a cheap thing, it's a brand new computer!!

And all of this after a week or so of fighting the system (we tried to find out if a wire transfer was easier, it turns out it's not, all the ordeal with commons and FedEx, and all the paperwork involved) finally he sent me the money through Western Union. I still don't know how to thank him, I don't think I can thank him enough. He took this as a personal quest to make it possible for me to play this game and not only that, a computer is a fantastic tool for a lot of things and I plan to make the most out of it.

VegasRage, he's the president of Good Karma inc. the most generous and selfless person I've met, he gave me the best gift I can think of: to actually know there are really good people in this world! this is a fantastic human being and I'm in his debt, and I hope someday I can give back what he gave me :D

Now go on, give him the luv he deserves, he has made this forum greater than anyone could have ever imagined, it's an honour to have him among us :D

PS: pics or it didn't happened right?

Here's all the boxes and stuff that make a computer a computer :P

Cleaning the table (I thought I'd never use that sentence in english class in highschool)

    Unboxing the PC

    Everything in its place :D

Me, connecting stuff (cables are the worst hehe)

    Done!!

You may ask, where's the screen? well, the one I wanted (a cheap but good one) wasn't in stock, so it will take a while for me to get it, in the mean time a friend will lend me hers (she's not using it) and when I get mine I'll post the pics with everything running :D

    THANK YOU VEGAS!!!!!

posted a message on Anonymous: The Plan
I was born five years after a decade of state terrorism ended in my country, it was 28 years ago, and this is the longest period of democracy in history of this country. It's truly heart breaking to hear the stories of people running away from the military and leaving their loved ones to die because they took a bullet on the run, or your father talking about hearing bombs and screams in the night and having to walk in the middle of the street and not looking to the sides because he may end killed or tortured if he did. Ten years ago we had such a messed up government that we ended up having seven different presidents in two weeks, three valid pseudo-currencies and half the population living on a barter based economy in XXI century.
And somehow we managed to make it through, when you live history instead of watching it over the news then you can understand the depth and necessity of being united and collective and cooperative action. It's not a matter of capitalism vs socialism or abstract political theories, it's about identity and solidarity.
I don't know if anonymous, lulzsec or any of this groups are going to be good in the long term, but I'm sure it's important for people to remember who the government responds to and that the power of "the people" is the power of all of us as a whole, not just the sum of our individual wills.
The "system" doesn't exist, nobody planned it and it works like it exist because we all respond to it as it was revealed by god, that's BS, but we can only change things for the better if we all become aware of the need of changing things and helping those who don't have it so easy and trying to make it better for all of us, not delegating everything to a bunch of people hoping they'll make things right, that's naive to say the least.

If they don't get rid of that rule is, imo, because it's good for them to have "leaked" videos, everything forbidden use to appeal people in general, just look at the first posts in this thread, people wanted to see new awesome leaked footage! so if blizz isn't so strict about that rule is because people breaking it actually helps them... weird logic I know, but blizz is weird also :P

Diablo: @nvink I don't believe there is any dialog in the game that won't be fully voice acted. There may be a few minor exceptions.

YAY!!! we're going to have voices... I wonder what those minor exceptions could be O_O
