Link like this might help a little better. This is my WD, and he's still very early into it. Still have a lot of gear to find and some rerolls even...

BUT, He's got the Garg you mentioned, a fire% bonus, and a Garg% bonus. And yes, he does stand around sometimes with his priorities out of touch with reality.

The rune where the garg goes crazy on elites might be a bit better.

posted a message on Showcased Build - Globe Explosion build - fast clears, party buffer
Built one of these on a pre70 Wd last night with really poor gear, BUt had a Razor Strop on him, so, why not right?

So I started out in Master, hey, at least a shot at imperials, gems so expensive, and after a night of playing I'm comfortable in torment 1, and I gained magefists, a Thing of the Deep, and a RoRG.(with good rolls,a good night).

I originally had an item with +'s to haunt, so I switched the confuse/charm skill to that ( I was setting it off on accident all the time anyway, long cool down) and when I got the Magefists I switched to a fire based primary, firebomb with the three columns at 880% over 6 seconds? The expanded range with the beklt/damage ina mob group is crazy, stuff started exploding, stuff dies, more globes, more explosions, and you just start picking up the drops. :D

Going to see about crafting some partials to take advantage of the Ring for a bit next I guess.
Okay, Kadala gave me a Quetzalcoatl (sp?) helm, not what I wanted but the stats are really good, so I'm happy there but don't care for the skills used with it.. Also picked up a reroll on an item, got away from the firebombs and went to acid. So I'm now running no generator (well, no primary non-spender I guess)and still quite happy with this build. Grasp/Acid/firebats and whatever it was, it's already melted, If it's stubbornly large, Garg pulled in from the bullpen and repeat. Bam! Got some Helltooth boots, not real impressed there though.

Can I ask though, how high on resists is high enough?

I did lvl up a WD to 70 without getting serious about a build, just tinkering and figuring how it all works, and last night I got serious and went after some bounties/shards for gear and I got a Thing of the Deep, Magefists and a few other really nice yellows, and I'm running torment solo np. This could be my new main with some more gear. :D Might craft some partial sets with a RoRG and a Leorics on the fingers.

Kadala truly is a fickle one. I spent no more than 30 shards yesterday on a new Wd and got a Thing of the Deep. Very happy am I.

Great series Mikhail! Good to see what can drop, and what sometimes doesn't. :D

    Quote from JKlimek
    14) What happened to magic find? Magic find was too powerful and became a requirement to find any loot in Diablo 3, which is why it was heavily nerfed: 100% magic find will increase the chance to find blue items by 100%, but only increase the chance for finding rare (yellow) items by 30% and for legendary/set items it is only 10%. That means that if you equip your character with 300% magic find, you will only get a 30% higher chance of finding a legendary. In addition to that, magic find has been removed entirely from paragon and from future rare gear (it still exists on pre-2.0.1 items, the so-called legacy gear). There are items in Reaper of Souls that have magic find as a stat (e.g., Nagelring or Cain's Set), but it is not worth it to sacrifice a lot of damage for a small amount of magic find.

So what this means is that your 50% does not relate specifically to your magic find of legendaries. In fact your 50% MF bonus is only a 5% bonus for legendaries. That means 5 more legendaries for every 100 chances you had before. The trade off here is if MF is worth the typical loss in dps. If you can get a minor bump in DPS from another item and end up killing 5% more enemies than with the MF item then the DPS is the way to go.

I can confirm that MF does not affect Chests, Breakables, Caches, or Items from Kadala. It only affects drops from enemies.
See, this is way less nerdish...kill faster = more legendaries, albeit at the whim of the almighty RNG (all hail)...less math the better, more killing the better...more squabbling less better... as to individual wants I'd say it's clear one's is of little consequence to others, to which I whole heartedly agree...

More keyboard, less calculator. Yes JKLimek used math, but hardly a calculator needed... ( and for those of you that want to interject that they use their keyboard instead of a calculator, SHAME on you...Shame!) :D

I say again, it's a game, less stress, less flaming, more gaming...

I meant it's a game, IE escapisim, IE, I don't want to apply statistics and probabilty (which I too use at work) to something I just want to enjoy...

I like cars too, don't really need to get into all that under the hood stuff...they're just fun.
