Lots of good suggestions in here. This could add quite a bit of variety. My favorite suggestions so far are the ones that try to add alternatives to CC,CHD. Such a lame crutch everyone must use.
I think it's a great idea. You can get infinite Veiled Crystals if you're doing RIF and farming Kadala. However, you'll probably soon start to run low on Arcane Dust. IMO it could be an ingenious way of saying "Stop doing RIF only", because Arcane Dust drops as a standalone drop from mobs fairly frequently. But maybe that's me just giving excessive credit.
thats the thing i actually miss in RoS atm, the feel i got playing my old 400k dps unbuffed perma wrath ww barb.
now that was a feeling of power that nothing else in the game so far has captured. im not saying they should bring back the old ww barb or anything, just a few items to capture that feel again. my wand of woh did it a little, opening up a new playstyle while adding some power to my character. but i feel there are way to few items in the game like that.
Why not just turn down the difficulty level if you want to feel ridiculously OP? Have you played Normal difficulty lately?
talk about missing the point
I don't think the point was missed. If you feel appropriately-powerful on T3, change to T1 and feel super-powerful. Are you suggesting these items should trivialize T6? If so, I think you have a bad vision for the game.
I can tell you, now that I can kill T6 elites (With a bit of effort), T1 absolutely feels like Normal.
Yea, when I get a legendary, it should be a max-rolled legendary! Make it so!
He's not talking about every legendary. His point is that if you finally get one of the super rare items like Wand of Woh, Starmetal Kukri, Calamity etc etc to not let them roll 1.9k dps, mainstat, life on hit and resource cost reduction or sth. A lot of the players who happen to get one of those might not find another one at all. So it's really not fair to let them be so random, just give them a socket at least and everything is good, then we can reroll the dmgroll on it.
He's saying "The best legendaries should always have good rolls". Which you are supporting, and I find ridiculous.
If it's that OP, you'll use it anyway. Just like my Odyn's Son with no Str and crappy damage. I think it's crazy that they would make the drops that you already destroy everything else in search for, even better by default.
You vastly overstate the value of Magic Find in your video. Magic find works at 10% for legendaries, meaning 50% Magic find = 5% mf for legendaries. Which means the 4% you say changes to 6% actually changes to 4.2%. Not nothing.. but you need a lot more than 50% MF to make a significant difference. 150%+ you might start seeing something you could POSSIBLY notice.
That being said, until recently I used Cain's, because 5% MF is still 5% MF. I also stack MF on my follower because what good is a follower really? : P Nagelring + MF weapon/rings/amulet can get you about 30%+ from your follower.
I like to skip threads, make assumptions and post threads full of insults.
Whether RiF is a good idea is really just a small offshoot of this discussion. It's mostly been about whether it's good or bad to be avoiding paying for rifts while using it. (and calling it "optimization") : P

That don't make any damn sense at all.
