Jul 27, 2006AcidReign posted a message on Blizzards Diablo team hiring!I remember when I bought WC3 within the week of it's realease. I spent $80... I bought the game and guide. I played for like half a year and then just got sick of it. Then I went right back to Diablo and stayed there ever since.Posted in: News

Jul 13, 2006AcidReign posted a message on The Final Diablo 3 is Coming argumentI'd expect a company like Blizzard to have a new game for each franchise finished once every 2-3 years... It's been like 5 years since LoD.... Perhaps they have turned their heads more towards business strategies now that WoW has set in.Posted in: News

Jul 12, 2006AcidReign posted a message on Blizzards Diablo team hiring!Well, what do you think the Diablo team is up to? Do you think they are getting paid to sit on their asses all day twidling their thumbs? Think again you non-believers.Posted in: News

Jul 11, 2006AcidReign posted a message on The Final Diablo 3 is Coming argumentBlizzCon is not intended as an annual event, I as far as I know, they haven't even begun thinking about having one this year. I believe Blizzard stated that they would now announce games at BlizzCon instead of at E3. So if there is no BlizzCon this year, the earliest for an annoucement after that would be BlizzCon 2007.Posted in: News
Blizzard has ~3 monthes to get things organized for BlizzCon if they decide to have another one this year. Do you think they have anything that could possibly be showcased there this year other than WoW: Burning Crusade?
If you think no, then tell me what the rest of the StarCraft and Diablo teams are doing... Twindling their thumbs? -

Ever read up on the Diablo clone? On the Arreat Summit website, it is said he was brought back from death by a dark ritual by Lilith, so Diablo isn't COMPLETELY erased, nor will he ever be. But anyways:
I'm pretty sure they need an Excorcist character. He could have knowledge in Demon Smiting skills and other various lore.

Arms are thin and pointy at the tips, somewhat like Mephisto's, only he has scythe blades lining the inside of his arms. Long spikes prodruding through his back and he has curled horns like Diablo. Body is lined with smaller, fatter, jagged "defensive" spikes. He would have large spurs, and his tail would be like Diablo's, only it narrows off to a fine tip.

Crystal Arch - Capital city of the High Heavens. Throne of the Angel Lord
High Heavens - Home of Peace. Halls are numerous, as well as courtyards, gardens, and plazas.
World of Sanctuary - Home of Mankind. Deserts, jungles, forests, mountain ranges. Numerous caves and encampments.
Burning Hells - Home of Evil. Rivers of lava, halls made of brimstone and fire, skulls and bones line the floor.
Hell Forge - Capital city of the Burning Hells. Since Diablo II, the Hell Forge has undergone major reconstruction and is now fortifide more effectively by the minions of the Three. It is now considered the capital city of Hell, and it has been isolated from the other parts of Hell, partly to hide it from Azmodan and Belial's unending conflict. Thrones of the Prime Evils.
