Customization would be a great addition, in my opinion. Especially if people were in a guild and/or clan. They could have their armor or shield have a specefic pattern that represents their guild.

Of course, it can go into much greater detail, but I think a customization feature would be a great addition. :)

Ah, thank you sir! :) I plan to stay here a good long while, so I'll defintely think about it. It sounds like fun to stick with you guys, so a good chance I'll apply later on. However, would I not have to wait sometime before applying?

    Thanks,

It's the same as West except different accounts, so if you don't mind starting over then there's no loss in coming to US West.
Don't worry, I have absolutely *nothing* to lose, hehe. Alright, guess I'll be making the conversion then. :)

Really? Thats a shame. :( Like I said, I'd love to get back into it, all I need is good motivation, haha.

Dang, thats more luck I've ahd in my whole D2 career! :P Oh! One other good drop I had was when I was leveling up in hell chaos runs and found myself an Um rune. Man, I felt proud. Needless to say, I messaged all my friends and told them of my great findings, lol.

edit: On USWest? Sure, I wouldn't mind joining in if y'all wouldn't mind. Would there be any major difference or change if I switched to USWest, or would it still be the same?

..oh... To be honest with you, I'm speechless after that comment, haha. ^^'

So, do people here still play Diablo1/2? I keep tryign to get back into Diablo2, but I keep losing interest and I hate being around all the people on USEast with bad attitudes. I love playing Diablo2, but usually the parts that I don't like about the game is my terrible luck in it. I have done countless runs, and very seldom get anything of worth. In terms of getting items myself, I only had 1 good day in the many years I've played. And with the two good items I got in that day, I nearly pissed myself due to luck. I was g-rushing someone, and I had killed Nightmare Ball and found Hoz (The best paladin shield, I cant remember what its called, sorry) and in hell I found some other badass item, but it was an awfully long time ago, not to mention my memory isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. =/

posted a message on Should gold be important for D3
Gold should defintely be worth *MUCH* more than it is in DII. As someone said earlier, have the gold system similar to Runescape. Have monsters seldom drop gold, and when they do, have it very little. And have rewards for quests to be in gold, (Ie. get 500 gold for completeing a specefic quest) etc.

And I completely agree with having the NPC's having better items for sell. Who would want any item that is sold from vendors? Only items I can think of that are worth buying at higher levels are the +3 to _____ skills (____ only) items you can get from Hell difficulty vendors. And even then, to come across vendors that had those were very rare.

Haha, thank you all for the welcomes again. :)

Now I kind of regret not having my username to be Ullion. Oh well, too late now. :(

@AlphaX: Polish? Darn, I was so close. I tried translating what you said in German, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian. The only sign of it working was "Ja" meant "yes" in German. Haha, Polish eh? I don't think I've ever spoken to another person who spoke in Polish before. :)

@Zubin: What language were you planning to speak in? Klingon? x-x One of my friends keeps getting irritated whenever I start speaking in French, and he said if he ever wanted to learn a new language it would be Klingon because no one else would understand him at all.

edit: oohh, Jazz, you like Jazz music? I'm afraid I don't listen to much Jazz, but my favourite type of music is Ska, which is a blend of punk music and jazz. Very catchy, I must say. :D

    Ja umiem po Polsku.
I'm afraid I have no idea what that means. :( Sorry mate.

Learning Irish? Cool! =) Learning new languages can be fun (with the right teacher, of course), but very frusterating at times. This year I ahd to read a 170-or-so page novel in all french. Well, most of it was french. A few dialogue pieces were in English and in Bhoutainiese. Thankfully, the latter was kept to a minimum.

Thanks for the welcomes though :), and I hope I am not an idiot either - but I'm still waiting to see if I am. :P

posted a message on Things we want to see/have in Diablo 3
What I would like to see in DiabloIII would be more additions to different types of spells. An introduction to earth based techniques, such as causing earth quakes, or creating large walls of dirt/mud that can take a crap load of damage, but aren't very wide. The only two earth-like spells I can think of from the first two games are Stone Curse and Clay Golem.

Another type of spells are nature-based. Not animal summoning or wind-like spells. But rather wood spells, leaf spells or something. Kind of like the vine, and as someone had previously mentioned, a technique like a Vine Bind, which would follow the idea of a stone curse.

The last type of spells that would be cool to see would be more along weapon manipulation. Something like double throw, but rather it being two separate tosses, you use mana to create more of the weapon, like clones, and you throw like 10 at a time (level variant though) and only using up one of the actual item. I know this is starting to dwell on the idea used in the Anime called 'Naruto', but items like scrolls to contain more weapons (Kind of like the Horadric Cube), but can be used as a weapon. For example, you lay down a scroll on the ground as a trap that contains 10 of a certain kind of weapon, and when a monster comes near the trap goes off and the weapons fire in all directions hurting all enemies. Also, to follow the aerial techniques (Blizzard, Meteor and Thunderstorm), you could have one like this but of weapons. It would take up a lot of mana, but you could have a large amount of weapons falling from the sky and striking all enemies within a certain radius.

I personally prefer Ullion over killer-swift. Killer is such a generic over used word. I'm a fan of starcraft and I swear half the community has Killer as a suffix or prefix. I can usually tell if a new poster is going to be immature and annoying as hell. I don't get that vibe from you thankfully. Welcome sir.

Thank you. I knew I was forgetting one part of my reasons for chaging Killer-Swift to Ullion. It was because Killer was overused, hence why I wanted another brand-new name. I just sat awake at night on day(well, night) and it finally came to me, haha. ^^' As for that alst comment, I figured that idea flew around here from the few threads I've read, so I tried to make my post as formal, nice and respect as possible to avoid getting on the wrong foot on anyone.

Ah, merci mon ami(e). Je suis désolé, je ne sais pas parler en les langues qui ne s'appellent pas 'Anglais' ou 'Francais'.

Translation: Ah, thank you my friend. I am sorry, I don't know how to speak in a language not named English or French.

Haha, nice to see other people here who can speak other languages. I've also noticed Elfen can speak another language (possibly?). In my curriculum though, we need to take French from grade4 to grade9. I decided to take two extra courses of it (one grade10 and one in grade11) and *might* take it again in grade12, but thats doubtful.

Thanks to all for the warm welcomes! :D

Thank you for the welcome, Winston.

I'm not really from a city, although I did spend the first 5-6 years of my life in Hamilton. Around the age of 6, my family moved out into the country more, so I live on the outskirts of a small town called Cayuga (Kay-you-gah). Its a 30-45minute drive from Hamilton, and about a 15 minute drive from Caledonia.

Hey all. My name is Kyle Stonkus, and I live in Ontario, Canada and proudly so. I'm 16 years old and in grade 11. My major sport si basketball, and I have been playing it ever since I could stand on two feet (okay, maybe a bit afterwards, haha) and rarely have taken a break from it. I also LOVE playing the diablo games, and have played the first one ever since it came out, as well as DiabloII a few years after it came out. My brother got the game after it came out, but my dad and him wouldn't let me play ebcause they believed I was too young at the time. But a few years later and I got the LoD exp and started playing the game. I love both so much, and was very eager for #3 to come out. Sadly, its been nearly 8 years since then, and nothing? Feeling a bit unsure if there *was* going to be a third one, I went to good ol' google and did some searching. Where did it take me? Here! I've read through multiple threads already and this place seems pretty cool and well-informed.

I'd have to admit, after reading some threads about the high-likliness of Blizzard announcing something about a new Diablo game in Paris, my hopes have been reignited and I am pumped. Now, I just really hope it does happen.

As for name, I got 'Killer-Swift' from... well, playing DiabloII. My friends and I made many accounts for all the characters and mules we had. My original internet name I used was 'Killerkyle', as an old alliteration for my name. But then that got old, so I wanted to come up with something new, fresh. But of course, I still wanted to use the term 'Killer', and stay away from using 'Kyle' as it was my real life name, which isn't something you're supposed to do on the internet, I guess? Haha, anyways, after about 5 minutes of pondering, I somehow managed to come up with the name 'Killer-Swift', so I used that. The other name I commonly go by is 'Ullion', which is a name I made up myself and does not exist in any other lagnuage... well that I know of. I was proud of the name 'Ullion' and stuck with it for a long time, but most of my friends preferred my name to be Killer-Swift, so I decided to go with that when joining this forum. :)

Anyways, I hope I'll enjoy this community and share great moments with all. And I must thank Elfen (Sp?) for varifying me during this email crisis that seems to be going on. So thanks Elfen, and cheers to all!
