A very easy fix to the leader board, tier the paragon at so many levels like 100, that gives everyone a chance at getting the number one slot, instead of pitting someone with say 200 paragon against someone thats 1200 which we all know the outcome of that.
All i can say is if blizz gives the people that don't play seasons the stash for gold when i have been doing seasons for it, i will personally quit playing it and delete all blizzard games period
Why can't you people understand, plain and simple no math needed, if they cap paragon now the people that HAVE HIGH LEVEL GEMS are the only ones that will have them and dominate the leader board and then you all would be on here crying again and again, unless they cap all gems and augments then capping paragon will NOT fix it.
If they change it now, those that have 100+ legendary gems are the only ones that will have them, without paragon you will not be able to get gems that high. and those with the high level gems will dominate the leader board again and again and you will be on here saying blizz needs to fix it they are higher than everyone else, play the game and stop whining, because of people like you they nerf stuff to hell and no one wants to play it anymore, wow is an example it was awesome in vanilla then they nerfed everything and now everyone has stopped playing it cause its to easy, no challenge = no fun.

if they hadn't nerfed the sage's set would be allot easier to farm , but then again i guess they do it like they do at my work place, if it benefits the people it gets changed
One easy fix, no use of paragon points in Grifts, or put the players with the same plvl on that said leader board, so in other words don't put 1k plvl on same leader board as plvl 800 or even 400 plvl, and the removal of plvl would break the game all together imo,
It for one don't matter what they try and implement someone will cry and belly ache about it, and for two D2 as you keep relating to was a lets use a mod to see how powerful we can make our characters so we can dominate arena's, that is the main reason D3 has no offline mode or no pvp so it stops all the people from you can call it what you like i call it cheating, so stop trying to make D3 into D2 because i for one am glad it's not, with a character you made via a program what fun would it be to play a game you couldn't die or god mode no fun at all, the devs are doing a great job and its a great game, if you didn't think it was so great you wouldn't put thousands of hours into it so paly it or go play something else, would you like some cheese with that whine
IMO if you want to do just shards say so at the beginning of a rift then everyone can stay or leave, its not all about bloodshards drop from kadala sucks or at least for me it does, i prefer full clears

If you don't have that much time to invest, 6 tabs is more than enough space for someone that plays just that little amount of time.
