posted a message on Seasonal journey. Why only 0/3?

I know this web is closing, sad news. Just to close this thread, you need to do the 3 conquests, then you get the goal in the Shift+J Journal window. It should show 0/3, 1/3, 2/3... but meh, it is really a minor issue. I finished the guardian achievement with boss mode with my WW barb.

S16? Paragon? I did 104, 105 and 106 with same non season invoker sader, first attempt, bad rifts, no final pylon. I am playing barb in S16 (only 680 paragon) but I haven’t pushed GR, don’t know what to augment, maybe HotA...

Doing the seasonal journey just for fun.

I have done 2 conquests (3 leg gems to 70 and the 2 minutes T10 rift).
    When I check (Shift + J), I only see 0/3.
I need to do the third conquest to see 3/3?

    Sorry for my English.

I have LOH on helm, bracers, weapon and 1 ring. WithLaws of Valor/Invincible and Paragon, it is very high.

I run with the horse searching for elite/champs, wait for the Physical rotation in CoE, and they melt with the actual set buff...

I used Laws of Valor/Invincible. With Laws of Justice/Decaying Strength you will be even more tankier. Enough to hold during the physical DPS rotation at GR100... I have to properly augment all my gear, but I think I can handle a little more...

Classic Invoker. It is very tanky. You don't need CHC or CHD, so Vit and AR in almost every slot (more than 1M of Life, with some 15%Life items). It is easy to get the gear, no CHC or CHD, and all the set pieces has thorns. You can upgrade daggers in the cube to get an ancient Pig Sticker (only 2 or 3 possible daggers?). With the shield the pool is greater. And you have the horse to move quicly from pack to pack...

I wanted to start S16 with barb, but now I am not so sure... With seasonal Rorg you can add Heart of Iron to Invokers+Aquila, or Nemesis bracers... puf, what to do, what to do...

Thorns Sader, Paragon 1285, decent gear (only some augmented), 100 gems, GR100, GR101 and GR102 in 12 minutes at 1st try (not very well played). Even without the Rorg, feel tanky. The 3 RG died in 30 secs without pylon. Wow... In season, with the Rorg, more posibilities... I saw in leaderboards some GR12X with thorns...

    Quote from Bagstone»

Yeah. Damn. You got me. Or rather, the game got me. S12 has me fully hooked. But from previous seasons I know that might end any day ;-) Today's the last day my group has *said* to be online, so if they really stop playing as of tomorrow I might do so as well. But well... not necessarily very likely. We'll see. Still got some goals in mind and some keys to throw away :P

But no shortage of DBs and even if, T13 (with no Sage) is just better, so I personally would discourage anyone from running Sage's at this point. Sage's on T13 will only yield about 20-25% more DBs and you WILL sacrifice more DPS by replacing 2-3 pieces of gear with Sage's, no doubt. Pre-T13 and depending on your class, Sage's is still great though (especially on wiz/monk/crus with bad gear).

I have very little time to play (full time job, wife and daughter) so I only play no season. If you have decent Akkhan pieces, add Sages and wreck T13 with any speed condemn sage build. You just kill everything so fast... I even did a Gr100 in less than 10 min with 1200 paragon (with standard condemn gr push build) and stop playing. Moved to free Starcraft 2

"So what if I turn down the difficulty, and run at 3-4 minutes?" That's always possible, but then you're averaging approx 18 Grifts per hour, but without the increased experience and drop chances. Also, that's a lot of keys to burn in an hour. Lowers your overall gem levels as well, as 1% does happen, and running 75's still gives you a 1% chance to 90. 70's have a 0% chance. It's all about finding that balance, and making it work for you instead of against you.

Sorry, just figured out the whole quote the quote bit. This part. Thanks.
And thanks to the rest of the responses. I just enjoy hearing other people's experiences, helps me figure out better strategies. I had to laugh at myself, the other primal drop I got that night was the Guard of Johanna, and I almost lost my shit when I saw the name that popped up because my highest performing spec is Hammerdin, so of course, I was stoked. And the rolls were worse than on the regular legendary that I still had sitting in my bag. I couldn't believe it, and no matter what one stat I change, the shield is still remarkably worse than the decent ancient I got. The only thing holding me back from getting up to a solid run at 90 is the ancient, decently rolled Johanna's Argument, which doesn't seem to exist in my world of Diablo.

    You have 7 possible 1H Flails and a 14,29% possibilities of a Johanna's Argument.

Random is random, but if ancient is 10:1, in 70 yellow upgrades you get 1 ancient one. Yeah, I know, 1.750 DBs, pfff...

Necro has 4 possible 1h scythes (25%) and 4 possible 2h scythes (25%). Much easier...

I got a very nice ancient Johanna's Argument just doing speed 64 Grs with my speed LoN sader, so you never know...

    Good luck!!!

Drop rates aren't split evenly among legendary items. Some drop more often than others. So in actuality it's more likely to be less than 14% drop chance.
I know. Take a look at:
Legendary Drop Rates & BloodShard Prices 2.6.0
    The 1h flails are equal.

For me (1194 paragon here), with sort of speed LoN bomb sader (In-geom cubed, Wings of Angels for mobility and Akarat Rally instead of Prophet), the most important thing is to be able to kill elites+companions (for getting the in-geom buff) with only 1 bomb/CoE rotation.

If I need to wait for a second Coe rotation, it is too slow. So, my sweet spot is a lot of 64Grs under 4 or 3 minutes, depending of conduits/pylons/density.

In 2.6.1, with the buffed condemn build, I hope to do it higher and quicker (sadly, no LoN buffs).
