posted a message on Easiest solo GR100 in 2.6.1?

    Hi!

If 2.6.1 buffs go live, which class/build will grant the easiest way to do al least 1 solo GR100 (no monk or barb, please).

I'm 1155 Paragon. I have nearly all sets in ancient version (with good rolls), and almost all weapons and rings/amulets needed.

I have level 88 legendary gems, 10 level 85 leg gems to aument waiting in the stash and a lot of mats to reforge/update for the new legendary affixes (weapons/offhands/brazers...).

    Any thougths?

    P.S. Sorry for my English

    Edit: 2.6.1

I did in #5 comment (put the name of 1 ring instead the set between backets). Anyway:

"What about your first build when you get to level 70?

My initial thoughts: equip the best ancient items I have in stash and try a LoN (Litany of the Undaunted) one. At least you will be able to jump to T10 and farm the necro sets (or burn all the mats in the cube to get the sets).

Is there any necro LoN speed farm build?"

Still, haven't found a tested Lon speed farm build yet. Anyone?

Yeah, I agree. With no stash reward, and the lack of time, season are not the same... good luck!

Because now, I have a daughter, and the work, and wife... I can play 30 minutes if I am lucky, so I prefer doing "high end" things... Live change, enjoy your free time!!!!!! ;-)

I just want to test the class to help me choosing next season init char, so I still looking for a fresh 70 LoN speed farm build...

    Found this:

I always keep some enigma rings. Spent 1 gem of ease in 1 Custerian Wristguards (gives exp per gold).

Go to highest Torment (6 or 7?) and ask for help in the chat. Spent some enigmas to do vaults. In the first Vaull you reach level 20 (I am not sure, did it long time ago). Rinse and repeat until it is not worth it.

2 more things. Craft 1 hellfire amulet (grants 1 passive), and a hellfire ring = 45% exp. Both don't have minimun level required.

posted a message on Conquest: Boss Mode

Did it yesterday solo, 1st attempt, 645 Paragon, very, very easy.

    Classic WD Helltooth Garg build

    Soul Harvest = 5 x 5% Speed = 25% speed
100% speed Spirit Walk in 2 secs
    Angry Chicken skill instead Piranhado

    Speed move pets passive = 15% / 30% speed

Green Move belt = 30% speed
Unity with Regen Gem (only for running instead Short Man Finger with stricken)
    Manajuma's set = 100% speed

Switching to DPS just for the boss:
    WH belt for green belt
Short Man Finger with stricken for Unity (recast Garg)
Best DPS weapon (in my case Scred Harvester + Henri's Mojo) for Manajuma

If that's true, wich one is the easiest and quickest way to get the stash tab? WD?
    P.S.Sorry for my English.

I wouldn't base my S8 class chose solely on the starting set. It just enables you to farm T6+, but you can easily switch sets as you have to farm lots and lots of rifts for the season journey anyways. It's basically just a pointer to your start build for the first 5-10 hours depending on how lucky you are to find other sets.

Generally speaking, you have separate stages:
    1. Leveling 1-70
    2. Acquiring your first full set (the time before you get your third Haedrig's Gift)
    3. Farming (~100 ~T10 runs and ~GR50-60 to get all the keys+gem upgrades, bounties)
    4. Finishing the journey (conquests, solo GR)

In step 1+2, WD is absolute king - by far. However, that means you'll only get the full Haedrig 1-2 hours earlier than the other classes because in the end it's not what takes the most time.

Step 3 takes by far the most time, simply because of the amount of farming you need to do. Here you can switch to a different set. If you get lucky and get a UE set pretty fast, DH beats everything here (and I'm saying this as someone who really doesn't like DH).

Step 4 comes down to a mix of personal preference, experience, and skill. And this is where the lines become blurry because of the time spent in steps 3+4 combined, and it also depends on what we need to do for the season journey. Do you only want the stash tab? Then GR60 solo is the most you need to do; *every* class can easily do that without much difficulty. Do you want Guardian? Then the GR70 solo will be the most difficult thing, and some classes have it easier here (Invoker Crusader is a joke up to GR70 since you can stack toughness instead of CHD/CHC) but are at a disadvantage in other steps (Crusader is very slow in farming rifts in comparison).

    Thanks Bagstone!
After some months out of Diablo, I started S7 late and chose DH (never played one). With UE it was very easy and fast to get the stash tab. I will wait till everything is decided...

Zei's Stone cc aspect is a joke. Its proc chance is not 100%. Once it's triggered it has an internal cooldown. It will not proc simultaneously on multiple targets. With recent nerfs it will be affected by diminishing returns.
Toth is both a reliable cc source and an essential defense mechanism for UE gameplay which helps keeping targets at bay.
Bott proximity requirement for slow, contradicts at least two UE skills/effects that require you to stand in range and not take damage, and forces you to use defensive skills frequently, which leads to consuming your disc reserve and drastically geopardizing your damage output.

OK. I will keep the Toth then. Thank you very much!!!

Zei's and BoTT work very well together in synergy with the Thrill of the Hunt passive. If you play Cold MS (Wind Shear) also has a slow proc built into it which also activates BoTT.

Thanks. The question is, if I use the fire MS rune (more damage), can I change the passive? Is it enough with the Zei? It would be great to have another passive skill...

posted a message on Best way to proc Bane of the Trapped?

I use to play melee classes, so the gem procs itself.

How do you proc it with a DH?

I am playing a standard Multishot UE build, just for getting the stash tab.

Actually, I am using the Thrill of the Hunt Passive (enemies hit by your Hatred spenders are Slowed by 80% for 2 seconds).

Is there a better way to proc the gem?
Maybe with lvl 25 rank of Zei Stone of Vengeance (20% chance on hit to Stun the enemy for 1 second)?

Sorry for my English and thanks in advance.
