I did try skeletals and revives, but after what I could see only the regular skeletons were proccing thorns when hit. Didn't test them too much, but I couldn't see a single thorn number coming from mages and revives. Monsters appeared to ignore skeletal mages but fight revives. This would probably need better testing, of course.
Hmm.. it's a bug for sure, cause all minions must be proccing thorns
Finally i am back on stream and right into some PUSHING!
Today i wanted to start at gr91 and move onto 92 and 93.
91 was BLOWN away on first attempt lol. 92 was a tonn of unlucky rifts with terrible mobs, eventually i got a series of decent layouts and had plenty of time ahead but spawned the worst ever RG for Necro = Blighter. Barely made it The squishiness of Necromancer is embarrassing.. i don't know how people will play it in S11 HC.
Here's the 92 CLEAR: https://youtu.be/lHaIBBlSEAs
93 is on the way tomorrow and then i am done for now. Need better gear.
These are known facts for all thorns barbs and invoker players
This is why, like i mentioned above, the best way to apply thorns is a very fast attack, not a channelling spell or something. Or an actual thorns skill like a bomb. Despite all this, i still think that pets and Thorns have potential. Through a LON setup at least
let me clarify a few things about thorns and hack for you guys.
1) Hack does not do a thing for pets, because they are not an "attack skill". They are minions. Hack only works with yout direct attacks, or skills that actually have thorns as damage.
2) There is no fast enough attack for Necro to apply thorns through Hack efficiently
3) If there will be 17 pets with thorns it does not necessary means that there will be "x17 thorns damage. "
It means that every pet will simply have a pool of 200% of your thorns.
4) Pets have no thorns attacks. All their "attacks" will be "passive", because they will simply reflect all incoming damage. When something hits them = they do damage via reflect. When they attack directly with their skills = they do no thorns damage, they just use their normal "skill" damage.
So the only way how pets can work with thorns is:
1) Huge amount of pets. More = better
2) As close-range minions as possible. Mages for example will not be very useful as they are mosly in the second line.
Hi and thanx! Yeah i like playing with wormwood myself. I think it's very easy and the damage output is pretty close as well. Hex is a very good tool for CC
Since i fell ill and could barely stream, i invested a lot of time in theorycrafting Necro builds and specifically Bones of Rathma.
The set itself has been nerfed and i almost lost hope that i could make it work. Luckily the working combination of skills and items is finally found.
I finally found a decent way to make the build relatively tanky in density as well as output tremendous amount of damage and refill essence steadily.
I am pretty sure the build will be copied fast and spread all over the internet, but this is no big deal, since i want everyone to have fun, we are here for it! Make PETS GREAT AGAIN!
Potential is clearly there, especially for single target. Might be even an RG killer. I easily see this going higher than GR100 based on damage output. Imagine something like 5 million sheet damage instead of 1,9.
It's also very sad that there is no space for Army of the Dead here. I tried to fit it and even made to GR80 with it but then toughness and damage problems emerged. And Mages simply do more damage. Revive is also not great at all.

I went a little further of cause and theorycrafted the depths of Grace of Inarius. So far this set is the most powerful and versatile among all, simply because... BAM and you do 2750% increased damage. For every skill or gem.. or whatever you want to use.
I told this three months ago just when i saw the set skills for the first time ever and this is exactly what's hapenning now. It's the new LoN for necromancer. Trust me, you will see more builds based on Inarius (unless it will be nerfed).
Here is my GR85 clear with just 1,5 mill dps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cm-n6MUz2Pg
i figured out wat was the problem with the previous one though. The build profile messed up the link to the build itself. If i can just copy the full link text and paste then the build is there.
Wanted to check just how "weak" is maximized Shield Bash now after a recent 2.6.1 buff to Roland set. I thought i would clear about +5 rifts and that was about right. SB is now in 85-95 range compared to 80-90 before. Not entirely terrible, but still miles far from the other crusader builds. Only terrible Fist of the Heavens is worse
Builds are here, just in case:

Hi!
Stricken is mandatory to kill rift guardians. Without Stricken you will be killing rift guardian about 5-6 minutes. With stricken = 2-3 minutes.

Can you share d3planner link?
You need a thorns skill or a very fast attack to apply thorns through Hack effectively. Just a few multipliers will not transition into crazy damage.

And how did you test it and realized it does not apply thorns multiplier?

I actually have a couple of fire builds for you, cause i've been a huge fire wizard in tbe past
