I wasn't overly impressed by the new Manajuma's Set bonus so I had my own idea. The concept is that the Fetish Shaman would become like a Voodoo Puppet and would cause nearby enemies to take amplified damage. It could tether to a few enemies or do split damage in an AoE.
Manajuma's Way:
(2) Set Bonus
Causes the your Hex to summon a voodoo puppet that will redirect amplified damage to Hexed enemies.
When I first saw the gameplay trailer for the Witch Doctor. I thought it looked really cool. I loved the idea of a spirit wielding nephalem that could wreak havoc on the demons of Sanctuary. Unfortunately I found that it wasn't really viable to play that way. In fact, all the builds that were viable seemed to be really gimmicky skills like throwing frogs and summoning little men with knives. How is that supposed to be effective against a demon from Hell? Don't get me wrong, I love the fun side of the Witch Doctor. But I would like to see a bit of love on the skills that brought me to the class in the first place.
Skills that need some love:
Zombie Dogs.
More dogs, more damage, more sacrifice!
Horrify
Animate the voodoo mask to actually scare away enemies like a spectral visage.
Make the mask reflect the one you have transmoged?
Firebomb
Needs more impact.
Spirit Barrage
Why is there no Spirit Barrage set Blizzard? Why?
Here's some item ideas I've been playing with in my head:
Items
Pyre's Guards
New Legendary bracers
Your zombie dogs now spit firebombs at nearby enemies when you do.
Split Tusk
Added new Legendary effect.
You can have 2 additional Zombie Dogs summoned at one time.
Mbwiru Spirits:
New set
(2) Set Bonus
Increased Mana regeneration after casting a Signature Spell.
(4) Set Bonus
Spending Mana causes Signature Spells to deal 500% more damage and take reduced damage by 10% stacking up to 5 times.
(6) Set Bonus
Casting a Signature Spell causes you to release a Spirit Barrage at nearby enemies.

I wrote up some patch notes of things that could be added to make these skills more viable.
Maybe June has a post on the d3 forums showing the spirit spells some love:

Love this item. It's one of those things that makes you laugh and I think it needs some love. So here is my idea to make it even more fun.

I have the same question but with the ranged damage reduction on the Eye of Etlich and the Critical Hit Damage of The Witching Hour?
I am guessing that items such as these will have their powers either moved to orange text or changed into some other orange text.
