I dont think its going to be a summoner, probably some sort of shapeshifter... or somebody who is good with animals and uses nature magic.

Yeah I saw that too, I thought it was one of the dark summoners... but when the showed the 3d model of him swinging around a dagger, I kind of thought that it looked like a playable character.

I dont honestly think it could be an NPC... especially being as how that trailer reveals SO much more about the game. Besides I think the armor and character detail is just too intense to be an npc. They show weapons, a staff... and what appears to be a sword at her side, also a pet. She seems battle ready is all I'm trying to say.

Also, if people wanted to be really malicious, they could just take different artwork and throw it in the youtube video to look like a Diablo 3 artwork. Has it been confirmed that the 'Druid' image was on the ACTUAL Blizzard website?

Well its really up to you to watch the vid and judge for yourself, I never actually watched the artwork trailer while it was still up on the blizz site. But I really wish I did now, seems legit though.

I agree about the whole dr00d and assasin things though... they kind of sucked in d2 there is a whole lot more you couldve done to make them better characters.

Why else would they take the trailer down from their site? It reveals a lot of new things, even new locations. So theres no reason why it may or may not be a new class. But even still you can derive a lot from the artwork trailer that isnt possible to see from the site alone

I heard they've taken down the artwork trailer from the Diablo 3 website, but I watched it on youtube and there are a lot of drawings of things that look like possible classes. Especially since a lot of the drawings appear to have male and female versions. I saw what appeared to be a female druid first about halfway through the trailer, she has a staff, a bear pelt on her head and a snake crawling off her arm.

Anyways watch the trailer, tell me what you think!

The Diablo 3 artwork trailer has a LOT of content in it that isnt on the website anymore, especially some concepts of what appear to be another class. I thought I saw a woman druid. I would like to ask them what there reaction was (if any) to the childish reactions of the many internet users regarding the graphics of the new game.

Also I would like to ask about the final scene in the gameplay video, when the large demon rips the head off of the barbarian. Is this some sort of "instant death" move programed into the game or is it a move to simulate a greusome death just because the barb had low health at a point when the monster attacked?

I totally agree, whos to say that blizzard is going along with the same "routine" The character classes of d2 and LoD were so unlike the 3 classes of the origional so whos to say they arent going to think outside the box... like the rest of the game obviously has been.

Anyways I like the idea of a pirate/swashbuckler kind of person... maybe some sort of assasin/ninja kind of person or a gunslinger or explosives artist who uses "technology" to his advantage. Not like automatic guns or anything but like shotguns and maybe have a higher up skill where he could summon a cannon or something.

Honestly I think Whirlwind barbs are the funnest characters out there

Yeah right now I'm playing a barb with concentrate as my main skill, but I accidentally put one point in jump I felt like a moron >_< But yeah, the skills are gonna be compeltely different from anything we've seen yet

Honestly, I doubt any of the locations seen in the concept art were locations from the demo so why dont you calm yourselves down and wait till you see the finished product! Theres a little thing called contrast. Besides, the outdoors there looked darker than the deserts of act 2 on d2 so chill
