Nice vids! Especially like the Cyclone strike slow-mo, as now you can clearly see that the monk is spinning to create some sort of centripetal force! Good stuff :D

Don´t really care about the inventory to be honest, instead squares shaped one way, they're now another shape. I'm more interested in the character screen, instead of the typical mmo view (3d model in the center, pieces around it) we're now back to the D2-look, loving that.

Epic is a word we all should just be wary of these days.

You can say that again, case and point --> "Epic Yarn"

But to be on-topic, I think what blizzard is getting at here, is not the highest upgrade possible, but merely some sort of cosmetic armor, like a reindeer suit or something, because like Siaynoq said, everything is "epic" these days...

Yeah, I thought the same thing when I watched it. I'm a HUGE fan of the Barbarian, has always been my favorite through the years. When I was watching all the co-op, I found it hard to keep an eye on the barb, just so many visual effects, guess that is why they are limiting the # to 4 players per game for now...

don't forget that now the camera is focused on the monk, if the barbarian were in the center, it would be a lot easier to follow him / her :)

don't think it will be anything new. Just some "new" shaky-cam movies of monk gameplay, some new concept art perhaps...but nothing big

and also, if you are waiting 2 years for an upgrade...that kinda proves you got something not many gamers have: patience! You could probably wait more, but you're looking for an excuse to buy one now, my advice: wait.

probably not what you wanted to hear, but hey, it's the truth =p

I dont think blizzard can get away with not implementing an hell level in the original game (d3). I do see them releasing the High Heavens as an expansion pack. I'm most curious as to how the "jungle levels" are coming along, I always liked those (just the levels...not the lil' guys).

Good call imo. If you find something that's better then your current equipment, you have two choices, either you sell it, or equip it (or obviously the third, discarding, but if you go down that path then you don't care about BOE anyway). If you sell it you get an instant amount of money, or another piece of equipment, that's better then your current. If you don't sell it, you still get value for your money, because you use it. Using it will allow you to become strongerbetter, so you need less time for the same runs. So in a way, by equipping it, you also get a monatary value, except htis one isn't instant.

All blizzard is doing is making it work so that you have to choose between instant money, or money-over-time, where previously, you could have both. I like it :)

    Quote from "debo" »
In my opinion this is a good way to avoid such joining and rejoining. But I hope they will implement this feature appropriated. I mean you have to finish a certain part of the area before reseting it. Because rushing to the boss/special monster killing it and reseting makes for me no sense.
This features is like the instance reset in WoW. I liked this feature because if the group is willed to play again just reseting it and having fun again. :)

ah yes....good times. I hope they don't screw this up lake wow did and make it max X (I think it was 5...) an hour...I remember doing hours of resets with my "long range scope" for Forors Compendium of Dragonslaying....ah :'-)

that was the first (and only) time time wow was like diablo =D

actually thats the thing they'r supposed to end, countless runs...

exactly! I thought they were figuring out a way to make those "pindle en meph" runs obsolete... ah well, he says it's not implemented, so at least they're looking at different viable options, which is good.

    I like it :)

posted a message on A way to make your character totally unique, WITHOUT STAT POINTS!
imo it doesn't really matter what kind of system you implement, in the end you will always have people that put a label on one build and go: "this is the best build, it beats other builds by 4.53%". And then you will have the people that are interested in that sort of things go: "oh wow, 4.53% better? I'll go use that build". However there are also people that wouldn't care for such a thing and just play the builds they like. So no matter what system you come up with, there will always be one or a couple "best builds" (best being relative to each person).

Personally I think the runes are a good concept, and combined with the talent trees, it will give some form of customization. However I don't think it will be enough, unless it will be 40+ runes that are equally good. Im also quite confident Blizzard either has or will implement some other system that will add to the diversity.

As for your idea...hmm. I'm liking the mastery thing, where it would give you small bonusses, however this means that if I want to be an axe master for example, and whilest leveling I find a huge sword, that beats my current weapons damage by 300%, I would still be "restricted" to using my crappy axe, and tbh, I don't like restrictions =P. So it's a good idea, but it needs a bit of work.
