Do you live in Australia? Is the game seemingly 'down for maintenance' every night for you (e.g. the ONLY time where you can play the game you've waited a handful of years for)? Did the game go down for maintenance just as you got home from a really crap day at work? No? Then be quiet. If you can't understand why people are bitching after Blizzard failing to deliver on promise after promise then spouting crap about there being no problems on their side re: the hacking fiasco (if that's the case, why are we in maintenance limbo for a 1/3 of a day?) then there is something wrong with you.

Don't give me that 'if you don't like it, don't play it crap' too. Most people don't have problems with the game itself, they have problems with not being able to play the damn thing. I've never had this amount of problems with a game - let alone a Blizzard game.

Doesn't help that Blizzard is shitting on the entire Aussie/NZ gaming community.

Hey guys, just thought a few people would be interested in this interview:

Nothing really new, but still an interesting enough read for people that are scouring the internet for anything D3 related to tide them over until May 15th.

There more more jerks in Diablo 2 than any other game I've ever played.

Jerks and 'nerds' are not mutually exclusive. This isn't an american high school movie.

I think it's a great thing that games are more socially acceptable. (definitely helps with girlfriends!)

Your all tripping, the items REALLY do not look that impressive, your just for lack of a better description, diablo whipped, and you would pretty much love anything they throw at you,
look REAL close at the items, they are ok ya, nothing to throw a hissy fit about, but seriously not that impressive, I know 15 year olds who can draw armor/weapons that would blow those away

Thing about these icons.... people either LOVE them, or they HATE them. Or they think they're just ok. One thing is for sure.. the hater tears are DELICIOUS.

lol, what are you on about? Most people are 'meh' about them - which isn't a great sign.

You see there is this thing, it's called an opinion. People tend to have different ones. Now, this opinion thing varies very widely between person to person, and most of the time a lot of people disagree about something. Just because they disagree though it does not necessarily mean they are wrong. Now remember, opinions are something we all have, and in things like aesthetic appeal, it's very hard to say someone is wrong when they disagree with you.

I just thought you should know what an opinion is since you obviously have no idea how they work.

Yeah...and his opinion is that your opinion is stupid. Still valid, innit?

I guess my question would be: If you don't like it, why focus in on it and make a thread about those things?

Probably because it's a discussion forum. We need to make up things to discuss while Blizzard keep drip feeding us like babes not long out of the womb. In 1 week, someone will start complaining about the mouse cursor. In 2 weeks, someone will complain that the letters 'W', 'o' and 'W' were spotted in a 10 min long beta preview and surely spell the end of the world as we know it.

What I don't like is not the 4 player cap - it's that we'll be forced into it. With the technology available today it really makes no sense to limit what the player can do in this kind of way.

You say that it's the optimum limit - then make it the default limit set upon any new game created. There SHOULD still be an option to up that limit.

I don't know how anyone could argue against this point. It's completely and utterly ridiculous how some of you guys tow the party line. Reminds me republicans..

Your not forced into playing with 4 players, you can play by yourself, just with 1 friend, 2 friends, or even 3 friends and the decision to make 4 players the max is nothing to do with there technology, it's to do with gameplay

Not only is it the optimum limit, Blizzard rightfully don't want to give player's the option to play there game in a way that will make the experience less enjoyable ( And it also brings other issues to the table when there is 8 player games available)

I don't know how people could continue to argue against blizzard's obvious reasoning's. It's ridiculous how the 5% of you out there tow the "Anti-Blizzard (I wanna seem cool and unique)" line....

If you honestly don't like it, keep playing Diablo 2, glhf.

Christ, I could've predicted this reply almost line by line.

Saying that we have the option to play with 1,2 or 3 people as a counter-point to my argument is ridiculous. I'm obviously saying that the 4 player limit is too small.

I agree with pretty much everything Blizzard has put out thus far - this isn't one of those things because to me it's blindingly obvious that they have got it wrong.

Not everything they do is 100% correct. That is why they listen to fans. That is why debate should be encouraged. Actually, that is one of the main points of this forum that you post on.

And 'I wanna seem cool and unique'? To a bunch of people on a gaming forum that don't know me? Yeah, sure buddy.

With Starcraft 2 it was always going to be hard to change it enough for it to feel fresh and innovative while still keeping the core mechanics from the hugely popular first game. I think with Diablo 3 it will be easier to innovate - and the design team will have a lot more freedom - because there is no e-sports community that they have to consult first.

I still think BNet 2 will be crap for Diablo 3 as well - of that, seriously, there is no doubt. It is broken and will probably always be broken.
