    Full of hate for nothing...

    Patch Notes >

Added new command line parameter '-nofixaspect' which allows users to
now fix the aspect ratio to 4:3 when maximizing in windowed mode.
This lets the game 'stretch' to fill your monitor.
You see, you need to add that line to the game icon

posted a message on Starcraft Ghost
    Interesting parts from wikipedia

The game was announced in 2002 and was to be developed by Nihilistic Software for the Nintendo GameCube, Xbox, and PlayStation 2 video game consoles.
Several delays in development caused Blizzard to move back the release date and the game has not yet materialized. Nihilistic Software ceded development to Swingin' Ape Studios in 2004 before Blizzard bought the company, and plans for the GameCube version were canceled in 2005.

Blizzard announced in March 2006 that the game is on "indefinite hold" while the company investigated seventh generation video game console possibilities. Subsequent public statements from company personnel have been contradictory about whether production will be renewed or planned story elements will be worked into other products.

At the BlizzCon conference in 2007, StarCraft series creator Chris Metzen hinted that elements of Ghost's story may appear in the upcoming StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. Metzen further stated that he believed Ghost had an excellent storyline that may be told in future novels following from DeCandido's Nova. In June 2007, Rob Pardo, one of the lead developers at Blizzard Entertainment, indicated that there still was interest in finishing Ghost

Blizzard's president Mike Morhaime and Pardo gave a presentation on the company's history at the D.I.C.E. Summit in February 2008. During the presentation, they listed games canceled by Blizzard, which did not include Ghost.

So MAYBE from the third paragraph we may see the game moving to xbox360, ps3 or wii on a future... Or never see it, as it history may have been added to SC2.

Last news on it was 2008

Sorry, but this doesnt sound like a guide, resuming all it says is sell the stuff you have atm, and buy better when patch arrive, then MF for BETTER one, and use the unbalanced class...

Also this post looks more like jsp website marketing then anything else. :bleh:

Isnt something like this against the forum rules ?
The op seems to go that using that website is the KEY to sucess, nothing else of interest...

    posted a message on A Possible 5th I haven't Seen Mentioned
It'd basically be something along the lines of an assassin, shadow warrior, demon hunter, silent killer type character

Ninja is just probably the closest I can think of to this type of class, without reusing the term assassin.
You mean something like a rogue, stalker, mercenary, even hunter ?
If your closest call is a ninja
Leave the ninja at home please...
You failed at the post ;)

I've been reading random thread about some ideas people have that could be the 5th class. Many suggest rangers, raiders, marksman, rogues, thieves, archers, etcetc. Sound very familiar, yes? But what I haven't heard(and I don't see much in a quicksearch either) is the possibility of the 5th class bearing possibility similarities to the

    NINJA

Ohh noes not again... (Click here to understand)

And always start with "New idea" lol

posted a message on Simple questions about Diablo 1
Save system in Diablo 1 is very good for Single Player, however without save slots I myself had screwed up a lot of Saves, simple when i was about to die . After a lot of those "bad" experiences i begun to play solo on multiplayer mode.

    @CrazyCapnMorgan

The achivements system many games uses is nothing more than a way to create

Illusory Superiority, wich if you dont want to read all that stuff, can be benefitial for exemple to avoid depression.

And by other side, its also evolution, somebody did it, and got good acception on market, now everybody uses it... Its evolution, unfortunally we may never again see games beeing only games

This thread is halfway off topic, but now i got a question, all these years and nobody made a simple program ( launcher ) to choose a mod to launch, classic, or lod ? ( renaming files from a side to another keeping installation clear )

If not i may be able to make one...

*Found a Hans post on phrozen keep about a very nice script that seems to do the job with little to no editing in notepad* I will work on a UI to it and see what i can get past this holydays week here in Brazil ( carnaval )

Seth, you may want to warn people to not install mods over mods. A cleaner D2 installation with the required version is always the best.
    Else some errors may occur.
    *I guess DesmondTiny got one*

Well at the Barbarian gameplay video ( first gameplay video ) it seems he gets "help" from 2 guards, to scort Cain, it seems you can have multiple mercenaries with that engine, and/or tag along with some npcs ( Legendaries or not ) just for a little.

He could even call out some golems, but if the mercenary calls 25 summons damn I wont pay his ressurect cos he gotta be too dumb to die !

? what are you talking about ??

It was a joke about a possible necromancer mercenary that would summon 25 + creatures on your screen !:necro:

Necros were fun, but they were old ! They died, too many years have passed ...
