the barbs stature is huge yeah its gotta be hes the beast. her hair makes up for it a little though.. i wonder if they will have a class cap or.. whatever, they had 2 barbs 2 wizards. nice optional feature.

no i doubt it.. they arent gonna put skills there that you're forced to use no matter what it is.. but its there to help.

yeah, i remember seeing that skill.. i also saw a similar skill that increase the chance for a healthglobe to drop for barb.

and yes he does.. 2 so im sure each class will have similar skills to help in pve.

this thread is pretty bad, no wonder i stopped posting in it. lydeck is right about gameplay but what i wanted to say is that if you were making this game why would you show screens of later parts in the game. they pretty much use the area where the gameplay video was made that's it, they don't need to reveal any more then that. if you got no faith in the blizz devs then i feel sorry for you. besides fuckin with the fans is very entertaining.

nice. could totally see in-game voice support for d3.

yeah i know they're just drops etc.. etc.. but for instance like the boots. they shine like its meant for a paladin heh.. i don't know. we haven't seen any glowing items so for me that's a first. its probably a blue, probably something slightly higher grade. who knows what glow a unique will have?

im beginning to think this is similar to the jim raynor screenshot search, lol. once again we find the barbarian smashing skulls and breaking bones. top-left of the screenshot you should beable to make out what im calling gloves.. im not 100%. above that off the screenshot you'll see the glow of an unknown item.. again with the blue glow.

maybe there's more.

please read the blue text first then open up the screenshots come up with your own thoughts after reading below the blue.

okay now, this may seem irrelevant but i was browsing the diablo forums.. just checkin the posts on the latest media update and i remembered how they just love to fuck with people(the devs.) when the d3 gameplay video was shown it was picked apart, people saw a bow.. staff, etc. i just thought this would make an interesting conversation and perhaps its some clues towards the next class that they'll eventually unveil. for example: the boots, what is causing them to glow? what material are they? what class do you picture in them? the pants, they appear to have 3 blue dots. what could that be?

maybe blizzard has done this in more screenshots then we know, i only checked the top 6/7

hm.. nice thread. the barb looks powerful and a really awesome character with great support buffs no doubt. i was looking at the witch doctor though, for some reason i've really fallen for the class. the class i would like to have after that would prob be the wizard for the sake of power leveling and helping out friends who will inturn plvl me. if theres a shapeshifting class i might go with that though for a first.

hope d3 gives us enough slots to make each character +1/or more.

Theres lots of ways to make him unique actually. More shapeshifting, earth type spells...

1UP: Again, as a Diablo fan, I'll just say that I was a "Hammerdin" (hammer-focused Paladin) in Diablo II, and was a bit sad that you showed other classes instead. Can you talk about how the team arrived at showcasing the Barbarian and the Witch Doctor?
RP: Just lots of arguing and debating until we decided. The Barbarian was the easy one for us, because he's one of the few classes that's coming over into the new game, and we thought that'd be a great opportunity to really show people what's new about Diablo III through the lens of a class that people have already played. So you can really see what's different about the game through just watching the Barbarian. We also wanted to show something new, and we argued quite a bit about which class to focus on and show to the public. The Witch Doctor won out.

but eh ya know.. theres been times where they've said it is the only returning character or like in this interview.. so theres no guarantee. i think what he might have meant is that the chars who are back in the game but may just have a skill upgrade/look etc.. etc.. wizard has many old sorc skills that are prob just refurbished.
