Put it this way. They're doing what they can, and always have been. They say anything more elaborate, they jeopardize their efforts. The simplest and kindest way they can say "We're on it, but you can only expect so much".
No offense to Kauza, but his statement on botting is one of those that made me say, "well no shit." I don't think anyone in this forum thinks that botting is really a legitimate activity in the game. I think they want more frequent action taken to reduce its use.
I think a more meaningful statement would have been talking about things like YOLO Mouse and TurboHUD. There are always discussions posted here where the player base is split on if it is legit and/or punishable to use tools like that. He could have made a powerful statement by posting a much more encompassing statement on this clause within their terms of service.
However, I am glad to see that they have a new leader running the team and hope that he does some great things for their community.
I'd go on to say "The only way you'll really get their attention on bots, is if thousands and thousands of players start quitting for simply that reason." Then of course they'd HAVE to focus more of their efforts on stopping bots.... However, I'd near-guarantee you that thousands and thousands and thousands more players would probably stop playing once the content/seasons or whatever else had to make a cutback to put more effort into this department affordably. Also, unlike some people, I don't envision these people sleeping on bags of money at night, but instead working tirelessly and hard to create this.

So whatever, do the same shit in PVP then. Bonus Crit damage caps out at 200% or something, diminishing returns on all stats. I don't care, I don't pvp just make it it's own seperate game basically if you're gonna work on it, don't let it affect the main focus of this game. I like what he suggests about making characters powerful, and lessening the stats on gear. (prim stats like vit/dex/str), it would fit more with the 1% bonus crit chance too. Still personally, I think they need to buff up Attack Speed again, make some buffs to a lot of the Skills in the game. And lower NV stacks needed to about 3-4. 5 just takes too long to gain for people who only wanna play for 30m or maybe an hour.

He sets them up nice and neat, for everything to be seen in the first picture. Then destroys it all and shows it all again messed up in the second picture. That doesn't suggest rage, impulse, or anger to me. So for everyone out there saying "How pathetic must you be to get so angry.. etc" I think you're way off on that assumption.
Seems like he's trying to make a point, and a funny one at that. Something along the lines of, "I paid $100 for something I thought I'd really enjoy, turned out I didn't. So I found a realistic way to enjoy it since I can't get my money back. :)" within the tone of "this game is garbage lolz, let's move on now"

I know you're very angry and in a way lashing out at their decisions. And a lot of people will want to call you a QQer or something of that sort. But honestly, despite some of your rash claims I must agree that their decisions are very irrational for a video game of this type. Every decision they make seems to be to try and make their game more and more like an MMO. And why are MMOs made this way? No, not because it's fun. But to grab the cash out of your wallets every month. If you could beat the game in a week (like the pros do) how are they gonna keep getting money from you for months to come? Well guess what, this isn't an MMO and we don't pay a monthly subscription. Whether people play for 2 weeks or 2 years is really up to them and it will never make a difference in Blizzard's pocket so why do they continue to design their game in this manner?
Basically it really does seem to boil down to their F2P model of the RMAH which still hasn't been shipped either. Cut every easy way of farming gear. Make the game give you a headache if you don't have any good gear. Result; enter RMAH to buy gear needed to beat game, else spend 5 months farming yourself. Then people realize the money they spent on the RMAH was kinda pointless probably Buy items to find items to sell items?

Wow, no kidding.. who the hell cares about a giant sword? Well I mean that's cool and all but compared to entire computer? I don't see why Runner up Prizes would be worth more than the grand prize, that seems a bit backwards... Grand should come with the Notebook too

In this way, if you want to play a game with your friends you don't have to constantly recreate rooms to farm bosses or the such, as every few levels of the dungeon or every few waves a competant boss would be faced while keeping the game always new and refreshing in a way.
