Guess 1.13 wont make me play D2 more.
Sucks to be you then.
Most important here is that it is still in public testing. I'm sure there's still more adjustments coming.
And to be quite honest, I like a lot of these updates. I'm hoping they'll expand on the skill updates, but many updates, like: the addition of the Windows window function keys, Blessed Hammer nerf, removal of IM, and increased drop rate are all brilliant ideas.
Definitely a precursor to a better reconstruction of the "base" of this old game.

It is always a possibility.
Diablo 3 does not require a good gaming PC. The Graphical settings will most likely be able to be changed via options, like most other games.
Source? Speaking from experience, an average $300-500 computer can be very powerful indeed, orders of magnitude times the necessary amount to run computer games with decent settings.
Even though many PCs, which can perform many more tasks than a console, and are much more general (also, portable in the case of laptops), cost less than $300 (PS3).
Source?

It would most definitely attract more players to the game, indeed. But seriously, not many people own a PS3/XBOX360 and don't own a computer. At that point it's merely a choice of preference: PC or Console.
Also, the PS3 can be turned into a Quasi Computer, which definitely increases the chance of it being released there.

It seemed like one was darker than the other - could this just be lighting or are they showing two different types of Brightness/gamma for people who like the darker style?

Half health with 3 mobs surrounding him, including Overseer-buffed fallen.
I think that might have been the reason why it was cut off at that point, because he died.

Seems way too spur-of-the-moment. No official source (such as incgamers or G4tv). Until a highly reputable source conducts an interview with Jay Wilson or Michael Morhaime and the words come out of their mouths, I'm not buying anything "starcraftwire" says.
Blizzard already makes enough money by far from WoW. If Blizzard charges us $5 for Battle.net 2.0, they're going to loose 75% of their fanbase anyway.

Good riddance.

Bashiok has said there will be none in Diablo 3.
Why?
I think they learned something from Failgate London.
"Oh, yeah, guns should be in Diablo 3. They were in Hellgate:London, and look how well that game turned out!"

Possible for a late 2010 release (in time for the holiday season). Blizzard changes around schedules all the time, so don't hold the announcement about "2 confirmed games for 2010" to heart.
If not then, Early-mid 2011. (Anywhere from January-June. June 28th seems to be a favorite date of Blizzard for the Diablo franchise. Out of superstition, that is what I would propose.)
It all depends on how things flow during the next year, and what goes on at Blizzcon 2010. Once that information is known, the guess will be much easier. (If we even have to guess by then.)

Although I see where people are coming from. In most other RPGs, the monk is a Healing class.
Who knows, maybe some skills in the upper tiers of the Monk's skill tree will provide party buffs, akin to the Shouts of Barbarians, but with different effects (protection/regeneration/resists/Extra holy damage) and in the form of "Blessings" or "Prayers."

As for the Female version, well, seeing what the Male was wearing (only a sheet), I expect her to be quite the lady indeed.
I hope they don't delay the release of the Female version as update-filler like they kind-of did to the Male Wizard, though.
