The Barb doesn't have mana, he has stamina. Also, I noticed WW has no stamina cost. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

I also like listening to the D1 and D2 + LoD soundtracks while playing D3...brings back the nostalgia.

D3 needs more voice lines like this:
"My brothers, at long last we stand reunited
The infernal gate has been prepared and the time of our final victory is at hand
Let the way to hell be opened
And the evil that was once vanquished shall rise anew
Wrapped in the guise of man, shall he walk among the innocent and terror shall consume they that dwell upon the earth
The skies shall rain fire and the seas will become as blood
The righteous shall fall before the wicked and all creation shall tremble before the burning standards of hell
The gate stands ready"

Solo inferno just seems so much easier to me.

Just in case you guys haven't noticed yet, the chat gem at the bottom of the new D3 page works

I agree. I think respeccing is a great feature to have in D3...it promotes experimentation and variety which is exactly what blizz wants.
Also in response to the OP, I dont' understand your argument. You say the hardcore players all created perfectly specd characters...but then you say you don't want all characters to be the same. If the hardcore players all created perfectly specd chars with the best gear...they would all be the same anyway!

But after watching the gameplay videos, I think it is pretty clear that blizz made the right choice. It is very hard to discern what each player is doing with four players. 8 players would just be wayyy to much action and spells going on, it would be impossible to play. It would be like a baal run with a blizz sorc, a ice orb sorc, and a hurricane druid all crowded around the minions :D.

I think that is how I'm handing this down-time...I really haven't been playing any games. I occasionally play some TF2 and I recently picked up D2 again, but I stopped playing quickly after realizing the only players left are bots...

I think people should play the game before saying that there would be too many effects on screen at once. The gameplay will probably "slow down" a bit for people once they play the game for a while. That will probably make all the abilities and effects on screen seem more organized and less flashy.

I like the 3D model in the first version, but I feel that it's kind of redundant because you can always zoom in on your character in-game.
I also like that on the current version, there is a drawing of the character behind all the equipped items. Little details like that really stand out. Plus, the original style of inventory is back with the "grid" layout, which feels very much like a Diablo-style inventory.

Blizz is really making an effort to keep the players fighting all the time instead of hanging out in town. Maybe this will encourage everyone in the party to contribute positively.
