Is it still possible to return the game? I'm strongly considering it, even though I got the CE. I'm so fking disappointed with the game. Like, I'm actually so disappointed that I want to return the game - and I have never returned a single game in my 20+ years of being a gamer. I literally do not want Blizzard to have the money I paid for the game.
We will be performing scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, May 29th. Maintenance will begin at 3:00 AM PDT and conclude at approximately 11:00 AM PDT. During this time, servers and many web services will be unavailable.
Thank you for your patience.
Not even sure what to say. Diablo 3 is seriously going to have weekly maintenance just like WoW?
I got hacked, all my stuff from my level 60 was taken and all of my gold too.
I called Blizzard and they restored my character from about 24 hours before I actually got hacked so I still lost a lot of stuff anyway.
I honestly don't have a clue how I got hacked, the ONLY thing I have installed on this computer is Diablo 3 and Google Chrome, I formatted the same day the game was released.
I only play at home and my computer is very secure, I use a very secure password and I never visit any potentially dangerous websites, unless of course you consider Diablo Fans and Facebook dangerous. I never download anything illegal and NO ONE knows my passwords or ever have.
I have never bought gold from any dodgy websites and I have never bought any items either. I am a very careful person when surfing the internet and would consider myself very good with computers.
I think a lot of people who get hacked are genuinely stupid but in this case I really can't see any way I would have had my account compromised.
Needless to say I have now attached an authenticator but I'm still absolutely baffled as to how I got hacked, it simply doesn't make sense to me.
Was your battle.net password the same as your password anywhere else - literally anywhere, like some old forum account? Or did you make up a brand new password solely for the battle.net account?
"shove all the responsibility over to someone else and then start whining".... what? Battle.net uptime is the responsibility of no one but the people at Blizzard.
Yeah I was getting pings as high as 1500-1700ms earlier. Pretty nuts. It's not my connection of course, as I pinged many other services and got ~50ms ping, so... rough times.
would REALLY like to play on the day i requested off to play.
Yeah no kidding hey? Same. You know, I booked the day off thinking "it's 2012, Blizzard is making millions upon millions of dollars - they have NO EXCUSE not to execute a stable downtime-free game launch". You know? This is amateur crap. How do you have hundreds of thousands of beta testers for 8 months and then a 2-million-player open beta and not catch the issues that have arisen today? Man, I put some faith in Blizzard and they have under-delivered more than I even remotely expected.
Hmm, freaky. I preordered mine in-store at a Future Shop location near my place. Here's hoping I don't get screwed over... Well, going at least a few hours early to the midnight release so hopefully should be all good!!
