True, but if I remember correctly, Diablo II was a server-side system, but I don't think that'll truly be a problem for the upcoming game. Either way, more corpses lying around = more lag for everyone, not just those in the room, especially with the graphical intent of the new game.

I named all my characters after either wolf in foriegn languages, different kinds of wolves, or famous wolves/people named after wolves in history. (Never EVER used Beowulf. So before you start, shush.)

But yea, a first and last name would be AWSOME. But it's too cool for D3, so now someone's gotta make a petition against it...

Aww.... but Beowulf is awesome though!

On topic though; I used the names of characters I've written about, played in pen and paper games, or re-used names with different factors... i.e. instead of Magus_Alberyth, I've used Lord_Magus.

Don't forget that the drops are on a person to person basis... like a credit system (or, at least that what I thought).... so it's easier to bypass items that you don't want // need. That'll also fix the problem of people just sitting behind to clean up the scraps.... if you call that a problem.

As far as I thought, the first part of the Gameplay trailer was in the dungeon "Tristram Cathedral"... I was under that influence at least.

Agreed.... but not everyone is into the roleplaying field like we are... but I do hope they take a page in NCSoft's Guild Wars book.... It was a good feel.

I do. I was a bit annoyed that Diablo II did not allow spaces. Had to name all my chars with one word. :(

*laughs* Or underscores, which kinda defeated the purpose.... eh?

I got mine at Lowe's home improvement center. I lucked out and got them cheap because they were being discontinued. You might do an internet search for something similar, look especially at stores geared toward household lighting.

I've been tempted to pull the wiring, seal the cracks, and put actual candles in them. You can find candles, daggers, swords, dragons, wizards, eagles, and fairies everywhere you turn in my house.

You, sir/madam, should bring pics so I can squeal like a school girl and look for ways to do the same! Bwahaha.... I want pictures! And I want to come over and live there too.... is that too much to ask?

Personally I don't see the use. I , like most diablo players, don't do the wow thing, we make names that arn't actuall names. More like "BigusDickus" "Bowjob" "XxX_Killerz_XxX" Or something lame like that. I guess if you were going to actually name your guy it would be cool but who actually does that . . .

I felt that to be one of the downfalls of the game though.... It was kind of annoying to see:

    Magus_of_Chaos has entered the world.
    Lady_Diamante has entered the world.
    I P W N U has entered the world.
    Lady_Diamante has left the world.
    Magus_of_Chaos has left the world
    I P W N U: Aww... nobody loves me :(

My house is decorated in a gothic style much befitting of my love for Diablo. I have wrought-iron, candelabra style chandeliers that hang fairly low. In my sudden burst of joy when Tristram was played, I lept up out of my chair, fists in the air, and shouted "Ouch! Goddam!"

    So, yes, I cried...

Where can I get one of those candelabra? I want one! Gimmarz plx.

Well, EQ did it based on level... at 20, you could have a surname.... but then again, Guild Wars had the multiple name.... erm... name.

Well... with the amount of mobs that swarm the heroes, as seen in the gameplay trailer, having a lot of corpses could cause a lot of lag on both the server and the client, depending on what type of server they wish to do.
