posted a message on Discussion: The last class is NOT a ranged class

Look at the artwork near lower left corner of the image...

Really interesting, it seems like some sort of desert thief with a hooded face, a light sword, and what looks like a bow and a carcaj on his back. Could it be the remaining fifth class?

That last artwork of the Kraken-like demon reminds of the gargantuan demon used by Lilith in Scales of the Serpent... wasn't Thonos (sp?) it's name? Looks like the book influences are coming trough.

i drink for the social fun. alcohol almost always tastes nasty to me, unless its like breezers or something; cant dance until im drunk :P

i had some weird brand and jonny walker i think. something that started with a G and had a moose on it or something...

Glenfiddich most likely. I would advice you to try Chivas Regal, an excellent scotch whisky all around, and very kind to the mouth. Now, a question for the scotch whisky lovers around. Recently, Dewar's has been introduced to the mexican market, so any recommendations for their whisky?

posted a message on Speculation about DIII Acts
I was doing a bit of pondering the other day, and it comes to me that there is a slight possibility that Drognan may be in fact a disguised Horazon... could it be?

Also, while looking at the DIII map for the billionth time, I came up with a rough progression for the acts that I came up with:

Act 1: Kingdoms of the West, fairly obvious since the developers have stated that. But it occurs to me that this time, instead of traveling across the mountains to the East, we may take a ship in Kingsport... and that leads to:

Act 2: Amazon Isles, we end up in Skartara (one of the new islands introduce in the DIII map) by virtue of an unnatural storm of unknown origin that sinks the ship that was traveling to the Eastern Continent.

Act 3: Kehjistan, the original destination of the ship, due to the rumors of great unrest in the city of Caldeum and the possibility that there is a demon behind all the chaos.

Act 4: Xiansai & Scosglen, perhaps a messenger from the Druids pleads us to go and help defeat the demonic powers that are corrupting their lands? By the way, the artwork that depicted an asian looking settlement in a cold environment is no more in the official website...

Act 5: Former Barbarian Highlands, were the armies of Hell have taken a foothold, and were all the remaining heroes of Sanctuary are rallied to make the final stand at Arreat Crater, the massive rift to Hell that pours endless demons into the world...

I still have my unopened bottle of Chivas. Now aged 14 years! LOL

I'm saving it for when I can brood with friends and smoke cigars maybe.

Quite a good choice, I may say. I find that Walker's Black Label has a more complex taste to it, but the mellower and more honeyed taste of Chivas 12 makes it such a joy to drink it on the rocks.

I was thinking of creating a thread about alcohol and its many subtleties, but I'm glad the search function works as intended. Posting here will suffice.

As to my preferences in regard to alcohol, I tend to drink mainly:
    - +12 year old Scotch whisky, like Buchanan's, J. Walker and Chivas Regal.
    - Old tequila (añejo), like Don Julio, 1800 and Centenario.
    - Some vodka: Absolut, Stolichnaya, Grey Goose.
    - Brandy in its spanish (Torres) and french (Conde Herrera) variants.
    - Belgian beers like Gouden Carolus

But let's make something clear: I am first and foremost a cognac hound. Hennessy, Martell, Camus, Courvoisier, Remy Martin, all heavenly stuff. Specially in XO grade.

    A proof of my devotions:

A "prologue" feature? That would be a pretty cool idea IMHO. All in all, I'm very pleased with the focus of the development team in fleshing the classes this time around. For example, take our old friend the barbarian, what has he been up to all those years? Working as a BBQ chef?

Not my house, dear friend, but I strongly second your petition. We drunkards need to have a decent partying place. =) Oh, and I forgot the last look, the "demonic" look:

The being known as Izkrieger has assumed many forms over the ages. Here are a few:

    The "I don't give a shit" look:

The "My hat is cute and yours?" look:

    The "gangleader" look:

    And finally, the "mobster" look:
