So gr60 and even 70 should be easy now? : )

From what i've gathered in PTR you'll do about 10 to 15 gr's higher than you did last season (for some classes) so 60 will be as easy as a 50 and 70 will be around 60.
They made solo a lot easier to keep it in line with 2/3/4 player groups, so ur be doing little higher again by maybe 5 GR levels. So I would say the normal for people will be GR 75/80. That is if u fully deck ur gear out that is, because I know people that cry looking for ancients is too hard.

And what we will continue to get are better sets for higher gr with each patch

That is a lie, because if you seen the ptr patches u would see blizzard is nerfng sets to keep them all in line with each other and making sure u can't clear higher GR just because of new better sets. So I would ask you use facts and not make up information kk. Yes people will clear higher GR in 2.4 but not because of sets, it will because of the health changes to solo players, and the new cube pattern which will give a lot of INT/STR/DEX, WHICH! if people did not work out will make paragon levels overall weaker in the long term.

In that case, the influence of luck is so high, that it will influence the leaderboards. Now poeple complain that some hundred paragon levels influence the leaderboards too much. How much influence would runewords have, if they are desirable enough that players still desperately want them after player for 1300PL?

The problem is not paragon levels just people think they would be top leader boards if there was no paragon levels, maybe they would but the larger problem is people want to be #1 player while been a week-end warrior.

Also the problem with D3 1.0 look was not the luck it was when ur item dropped say for a barb, it had bloody Dex/Int on it making it 100% useless, with loot 2.0 adding so new gear slots that make maxing out ur take longer would not be a problem with loot 2.0.

I just knew there's gonna be a topic like this.
It only shows how fucking bad this game is, and it won't change in months...
HOW can those dicks from blizzard be so excited about a new "major patch", it is fucking bullshit.
The only solution: Implement 5 new legendary sets, and 40 new legendaries for EVERY class so that non-legendary builds could compete with fucking trash idea of having a Wow-like system where you lose your motivation to play right after getting 6th piece of your "super-duper-op set"...
But i know they won't do this, neither they have enough workforce to do this nor they are able to listen to their players. (Guys i fucking bet that development team of D3 consist of some bad ex-wow developers)

The only true solution would be implementation of trading, and abolishment of stupid soulbound system.
I know that they don't have enough balls to prove after 3 and a half year that the whole concept of itemization in Diablo proved to be a complete disaster.
So i just wish that some day Grinding Gears will be able to buy rights to whole Diablo franchise and make a true successor of my beloved Diablo II.

There is no need for swearing mat so please calm down. But on topic your idea does not do anything for the game long term or short term, The game needs more gear slots.

Say you get 100 legendary's every 6 hours, that is a chance at 10 legendary's for each gear slot, leaving 1/10 chance for a Ancient, making it very easy to gear up, adding trading would only speed up the rate at which people will max out there gear, making the game shorter lived and more boring. What blizzard needs to do is add a new system that drops new types of legendary's to lower the amount of legendary's we for the slots we have now.

So say blizzard added something like "Runewords" all name plates not real idea! these 10 new gear slots for runewords would lower the chance for gearing 10 legendary's for each gear slot by 50% making the gearing system take TWICE as long to fully gear out. At the end of the day D3 needs a reason to keep hunting for loot!

Plus these does need to be a system in place to sink crafting mats as well, as right now we have far to much. though I have had people try to tell me they run out........ -.-

D2 obviously still rocks,I hope they bring out Hi-Res version.I see many D3 fans live in denial that D3 is perfect and fun to play.Well it's not anymore,Mats are bigger and bigger problem, not to mention Kadala & Kule.Specially Kule,he's having a laugh while screwing you when you try to craft something. And all that blocking to get the end gear, all ways one Ancient piece out of reach. Not fun any more.Stop talking about luck, everything is programmed.

Same can be said to those that can't find fault in D2 and think it is some game it is not, D2 is no were near perfect or as good as people like your self play it out to be, but you have dug your self so deep you have to defend it blindly now, other wise ur look like an idiot which sadly people do when they blinding defend D2.... -.-

    2) There was a long term goal that players could work toward while farming.

This is exacly what D3 needs, currently everyone plays for few weeks since start of season/patch and after that theres nothin'g to do if u aren't super hardcore and not going for top 10 gr ladder.

We need more interesting ways to improve that aren't 100% luck based (no, flat main stat increase isn't interesting) and need more variety in games, mby some weekly challenges mby some gr alternatives.

Loot is luck based. every thing in D3 is luck based, so I hate to say it but your playing the wrong game.
D3 just need a long term goal system when it comes to loot, and empowering your loot around a crafting system, rather then farming GR for exp.

how come that people hate sets but love runewords, which are basically nothing else than a set in one item?

Because the D3 community don't know what they hate or love or want, they just want something to bitch about.
All D3 needs is a reason to keep hunting for loot longer, eg some new gear slots, these gear slots don't have to give a large amount of stats just a nice amount to make the loot hunt longer, and give more choices.

BTW, the main thing the game needs at this stage is Paragon rework! At least above P800.

This ^. I don't think that Paragon is very interesting as it is. First, I think they need to put paragon back on the character and not the account. Next, I think they could do things that allowed you to "buy" new abilities at certain levels. For example, every 100 paragon levels after 800 lets you choose from strange perks that can let you change the way you play. One could be that you can combine two skills or runs (Summoning a Zombie Dog now Summons a Gargantuan). Another example could be giving you the ability to see a permanent aura around you that shows you where the 10, 15, 25 and 50 yard mark is around you. Once you unlock a perk on that specific character, then it's permanent and cannot be "reforged".
I think that change is a 2 part thing, ONE! adding a higher roof for the soft cap, and if blizzard was to add new gear slots that gave STR/INT/DEX that would in turn make paragon levels weaker.
in 2.4 paragon levels will be around 25 to 30% weaker, but the higher we push GR the weaker paragon levels will be. Just all depends on how much more STR/INT/DEX we gain over time.

I think if blizzard is willing too and can balance it right they could give monsters Armour/Armour Pen, while also giving players Armour pen too. but other then that would be nice to see new item slots to add a sense of more reason to hunt loot, even if it is small little things to say add runes onto gear.

It's hard to say what Blizzard is planning at this point. I feel like they're just trying to give us something to do in adventure mode other than rifts/bounties. And I mean... I don't wanna say BlizzCon was disappointing, but we definitely didn't get what we were hoping for. My guess is they're just trying to make Adventure Mode more lively for us, and give us some cool lore. However... It's a bit of a tease imo. I really hope there's more ideas behind this whole thing.

The best way to get us something to do other then GR, is to make Bounty's more needed, right now you only need to do a couple to cube stuff, then you really never need to do it again which is sad.
Overall we need a crafting mat sink, which in turn would make farming county's a played system for farming.

posted a message on (Idea) Empowerment + System

    Added Ideas:

    1) Sage's Passage remake

    • 2 Set: Increases Death's Breath drop by 1.
    • 4 Set: A chance while in each act to the act pacific item to drop from Elites.
      • Normal to Torment 1 = 1%
      • Torment 2 to 10 = Goes up 1% each increase in Torment level, making Torment 10, 10%

    • 6 Set: A passive pet will pick up all none legendary's and salvage them while also placing them in your back pack.

I thought this idea would be super cool for the blacksmith to make as people have been wanting a way to gather crafting materials easier, and if a system like the idea I have place above was to be added, this would make bounty's more interesting that you would give up power to be able to gather materials faster.

posted a message on (Idea) Empowerment + System

The point of it!: The point of this idea is to give an end game system that is a bit like gambling, while not tying all of the system behind Greater Rifts as right now Diablo 3 has become. Diablo 3 has become a game all about greater rifts, which has left players feeling a little burnt out and bored from doing the same thing a million times over.

Power Creep: I know a lot of people will always bring up power creep, which I think a lot that do fail to understand in Patch 2.4 we will have two systems that will have an over powering amount of power creep coming all from Greater Rifts.

This idea would have a Cap to it, but a cap that is very hard to get too, and feels not too over rewarding but still rewarding in a sense like you have worked hard for your time put in. This system also works very well with Bounty’s, and allows for the Bounty system to come bigger and more used.

The TLTR part of this is a gambling system that sinks all different forms of crafting materials, while giving an end game system not linked to Greater Rifts but to Bounty’s and farming crafting materials.

What does it do? : The idea of this system is to sink crafting materials to give a +1 and above to all forms of loot you wear and use, each type of loot giving different things based on it, shown below.

    • Armor: Each “+” Gives 15+ Str/Int/Dex & 25+ Vitality
    • Weapons: Each “+” Gives 40+ Str/Int/Dex
    • Off Hands & Shields: Each “+” Gives 40+Vitality
    • Rings & Necks: Each “+” Gives 0.20 % to increased damage to Bosses and Rift Guardian’s

(Note) All numbers can change based on balance, the point of the idea is a give a base look at what the system does not say what all numbers and %’s it should be.

The point of the idea does many things first it gives a small reward for putting in hard amount of work in adding power to each gear slot, while the system does not give much power creep. The system also makes paragon levels a little less powerful after paragon 800 as you will gain a small amount of Str/Int/Dex.

Limits: Yes there should be some limits to the system, like only been able to put the “+” on Legendry’s. So say you can only go up to Plus 5 on a normal Legendary, while an Ancient can go to cap.

Each Rank: Each rank as it goes up higher should have a less chance to work, but does not remove a “+” just uses the crafting materials, shown below the % chances.

    Ranks:

    • 1 – 3 (Easy) - 30%
    • 4 – 5 (Hard) - 20%
    • 6 – 8 (Very Hard) - 10%
    • 9 – 12 (Night Mare) - 5%
    • 13+ (Hell!) - 1%

(Note) Depending on numbers and how many ranks blizzard wishing to add they can change the % chanced based on all that, the point of the idea is to make gaining this power harder as you gain more ranks, which gives an end game time/material sink for your time.

Cost: All Ranks cost the same, but again as time goes on the % chance does go down, which then makes the overall material cost more, Numbers below again are just an idea and can change.

    • "Leoric's Regret" - "Vial of Putridness" - "Idol of Terror" - "Heart of Evil" = 1 (Note) using the Key materials idea is just a fun idea I thought would give more uses for them, plus they give more reasons to go around in the open world of bounty’s hunting for monsters. Also there are 4 key mats which also works well because there are 4 armour types to work with.
    • Forgotten Souls = 3
    • Veiled Crystal = 50
    • Arcane Dust = 50
    • Reusable Parts = 50

Were?: Simply put about this, is that it can be added to the newly made Kanai's Cube, as a new recipe. with how the cubes UI works, this would be a great place to place this new system.

Over all thoughts: The point again of this idea is to give an end game reward that is capped and is not 100% linked to Greater rifts, because right now Bounty’s could use a bigger reason to be played. additionally giving something that sinks crafting materials, and adds a fun bit of gambling that does not feel punishing if it fails, but also feels rewarding without giving a mass amount of power creep.

I do have many other ideas that could make this system work better or even little things to make players life easier when it comes to looting and crafting materials, but I might post that after people just see the base idea first. Thank you.

Sorry about bad spelling and grammar. And please don’t come into here just posting one line with “power creep” or But this is only good for hard core players. Feedback is always welcomed.

(Bonus Note:) With doing all the maths for the upgrades it would take 20,950 mats for each Veiled Crystal, Arcane Dust & Reusable Parts, to be able to get 1 item to rank 15, so to high light my point. The idea is to give a very long term goal for gaining small amounts of power.
