Punishable exploits involve getting a competitive advantage over the the design intent. Design intent is the key here. Mechanics have an intended designed behavior.
Let's consider the Blood Shard issue because this is a clear example of a punishable offense. The intended design of Blood Thief design is that at higher difficulties you are to be rewarded with higher quantities. So you can expect more in T6 than in T1. But if you use a game multiplier like a Greater Rift mechanic that is used strictly for XP to affect the blood shard drop rate the bug is clear. Blood Theives do not exist in Greater Rifts, therefore they should not be affected by this multiplier.
It is one thing to find the bug. This isn't punishable. You simply report it as a bug and the fix will get implemented. When you hide it and don't report it, well you are at the mercy of Blizzard's discretion. It is a judgment and they are the judge. Some got rolled back. Someone got banned because it was streamed and in their judgment the punishment was warranted.

While it isn't patched yet, are you planning on testing the Lightning build with a cubed Xephirian Amulet?
It's still on my list of things to do. I usually use a Hellfire, so I never tried a Xephirian until I got one cubed. Also never got a decent one with CHD/CHC and socket. I did get a chance on the PTR and was surprised that the element wasn't reflected just the damage. Yup, just died like nothing was cubed. It isn't really "reflected" without the element. Glad to see this change. Reflect has always been justified as a "Gear Check". Well if the appropriate gear doesn't work, what was being checked? Hope to see this working soon, as I've all ready tested Cindercoat and Calamity. I'm not sure there is anything else I'd like to test. Using Cindercoat and Calamity cubed, on my first run of GRs, I finished one higher on my solo personal best with 10 minutes left on the clock. Considering I had to fish for the current personal best, I didn't see the need to push any further. I did have the generator belt equipped over a Witching Hour. I had thought it added some contribution, but, I guess not as my usual solo build is Frost Arrow/Arsenal. I was spamming MS and hardly ever ran low. I'm not exactly sure that new bow is all that needed since you get 30% fire RCR with a cubed Cindercoat. Vaults cheaper than Tumble is a big help with mobility, as well. I never got the drop for the new bow as I was testing on Expert difficulty. I guess the attack speed might be helpful, but, I'll test at live. Too hard to test, right now since remaking a game is a pain with the PTR entry queues and you need to remake games to get the Act Reagents. A lot of stuff dropped, but it wasn't like it would have been on Torment.

There is a new passive, Leech along with a Molten Wildebeest Gizzard and Esoteric Alteration should give DH a lot of toughness and recovery. And you could use the cube/weapon combo of Chanon Bolter (Spike Traps lure others) and The Demon's Demise (Sticky Trap spreads to when it explodes.) Probably throw in Marked for Death: Contagion for more spreading. Spike Traps also have be reworked with shorter arming times for more viable use.
You could do this, maybe. Might be fun if you team up with a Monk to stack Exploding Palm.

You would be better off extracting the legendary affix and using another weapon. The extracted affix will be the most powerful roll. So it would be 50% for the Furnace. As stated it would probably be a mistake to reforge an Ancient item. You will have a. 90% chance of rolling a Non-Ancient. The reforge is more or less designed for those that haven't gotten an Ancient drop of an item and are willing to pay the high cost of farming hundreds of breathes and souls.

So you killed the exact same monsters in two consecutive grifts. While I don't dispute that you tested, I do contest how you have presented your test method and results. There is some obvious oversimplification of your testing procedure and results recording.

What are gemslot legendaries? Do you mean legendary gems?
Just hide the ones you want on an alt or your followers. They drop automatically on your next grift.

I would say that you would be wasting your time farming now. The solutions in the next patch seem to resolve the current situation. Next patch if you need a material other than the act specific reagents, you would just convert on the fly. So if you have a lot of veiled crystals right now convert those to arcane dust later. I would start hoarding deaths breathes. But I have no idea how to do that; I don't think I have ever had stack over a thousand. My seasonal character has stacks of 5000 on everything except souls. Even those are stacking up into the hundreds.

Season 3 is over on the PTR. Ended 5 pm PDT. Season 4 will begin Thursday 5pm PDT. As we are between PTR seasons, you can't make a seasonal character.

Extraction is off a menu or pre-defined as mentioned above. You get what is on the menu after you have made the passive skill available. So legacy affixes will not have be included. I would think that if you extracted an item with a legacy affix, you would get the menu passive skill. If the item is not on the menu as some Vanilla items at level 60 may be, the cube would probably reject it.

Did you try hungering arrow with buritza? It should guarantee the first 2 pierces.

Hey. It's summer time. I bet they have interns doing all the simple tasks. I've worked with quite a few interns. They have a really bad habit about doing exactly what you tell them to do. Afterwards they ask questions. I intend to test this in PTR so no worries. I'll post a bug report if necessary.

Yeah, thought about that after I posted. You could still go with DML and Holy Point Shot. Looks like HPS is going to be best in slot to actually equip. Funny thing is that we'll get rid of our Bombardier's Rucksack and Meticulous Bolts and just replace them with each element of HPS. Travis Day stated that the highest possible number will extracted. Hope they get Meticulous Bolts right. It isn't going to do a bit of good if the 40% version gets extracted.

If you aren't using Elemental Arrow with your Kridershot you aren't doing something right. Either equip another weapon, I would craft an unbound bolt for Critical Hit Damage or use EA. I have similar equipment on my build http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/CrayZ-1430/hero/60254481. I'm using EA Frost Arrow for Crowd Control and Chilling. For Groups you can use Immolation Arrow if somebody is Crowd Controlling for you. You should definitely get rid of WoL. It doesn't work well for Ranged classes. Use Zei's Stone of Vengeance. Regarding Hatred, you don't need that much if you use EA Frost Arrow. Frost Arrow does a lot of damage because it can hit up to 11 targets. So, each cast can easily do Billions of damage if you can increase your Crits to something like 50%CHC/450%CHD. With crits my Frost Arrows hit multiple targets each for upwards for 400M damage. That is a lot of DPS. EV:Focus will add a lot of Hatred for sure, but it will only do damage in the millions. For non-seasonal, because you don't have access yet to DML with the new double hit affix, EA is as strong as Multishot. So I tend to think you are over using MS. You have 5 seconds between your alternating between Spenders and Generators with Focus and Restraint. You should experiment with Frost Arrow. Fire 3 casts of Frost Arrow then a Multishot. This should keep F/R bonuses up and generate enough hatred so that you can switch Preparation Punishment over to Invigoration. Picking up Health Globes (using Reaper's Wraps) and Bat Companion should be enough.
For my Group build, I do switch over to Immolation Arrow if the group can Crowd Control. If you find you need more Hatred get rid of Vengeance Seethe with Groups and use Marked for Death Mortal Enemy. Mortal Enemy will generate Hatred for each attack on the Marked target. The Fire will continue to attack from the ground and give you a lot of Hatred. So mark all the Elites, you will get a lot of Hatred and a lot of bonus damage. The bonus damage will get applied to for the entire group. Vengeance is really good, but the 90 second cool down pretty much limits it to using it very early in a Grift and during the boss fight.
BTW my profile may not be right, I've been going with an XP build lately as an experiment. So you might see a Hellfire Ring, Ring of Royal Granduer and a Leoric Crown equipped. I don't wear this stuff usually. I normally wear F/R with 6%CHC/50%CHD on both rings. As I've said, I'm testing a few things out. Right now I can easily do Tier 37 without F/R. I haven't test higher yet to see the limit. I just want to see what I can do without the ring set. I end up playing some public game at Grifts a lot lower than I can do Solo, so I'd like to make up some of that with some XP bonus gear. If were pushing F/R always in play.

M4 all ready does this. Change in text was simple clarification to exclude channeled skills. Marauder Sentries have never used Rapid Fire even though they it's a spender. The problem with Marauders is that you don't get bonus damage from the Sentries. Only the DH gets the M6 bonus. It's the bonus that gets the high damage.
You could possibly with extracted Wyrdward, UE, F/R, extracted Meticulous Bolts, Kridershot, and Lightning Holy Point Shot and neck. You still have an extracted Armor piece, so add in Thundergod's Vigor with a Witching Hour. This would solve a lot of problems. Ideally the neck would be a Xephirian Amulet to remove the threat of Reflects Damage. This seems ideal.
Your other option would be to go with a Fire UE build with Cindercoat extract, RRoG extract, Magefist, F/R, DML extract with a Fire Holy Point Shot and a Fire neck. Alternatively you could go DML and extracted Balefire. We'll have to see how Elemental bonus damage are extractable.
DH can use 1 handed melee weapons, so items like Eun-jang-do and Thunderfury should be in play. We'll see about that. Rimeheart extracted with RoV cold would be just ridiculous for a Nat's build. You would get 10% chance for 10000% weapon damage on top of Crashing Rain.

If you re dual wielding you probably want CHC over CHD. You will buff CHD with a 2nd weapon gem but you lose the quiver slot that can roll 10%CHC. Which is another reason to use the passive Archery, you get a lot of value from a 5% CHC boost with the higher CHD from dual wielding.

Congrats on getting well into the 30s. Glad the ring dropped. It's a huge difference. I had the very same problem with Focus. I got about 7 Restraints, 2 of them Ancient (sadly neither were usable) and a clan mate gave me one. The one thing I would recommend is that you consider dropping Night Stalker and crafting Reaper's Wraps. You get the recipe for killing Malthiel. Just do it on Normal. Difficulty doesn't matter, it's a 100% drop rate, and the fight can be rather long at lower paragons and you can 2-shot him on normal. Using a hatred generation passive will cost you a lot of damage output. Most people (not just DH, every class) use the Bane of the Trapped gem along with the passive Cull the Weak. I find it odd that you aren't, especially if you are adding Polar Stations. Because Polar Stations don't really do much damage, but, they do help with kiting and the chill effect does proc Bane of the Trapped and Cull the Weak. If you are going to use Sentries, I recommend Spitfire Turret. Spitfire adds rockets and since you are using Ballistics, they will actually do quite a bit of damage. If you want the chill, Iceblink will add a chill effect to EV:Focus. Just some thoughts, again congratulations.
