posted a message on Ancient Yang's - Stat Priority

    Stat Priority is

    Base Damage

    Max Discipline

    RCR

    Bonus % damage

Area Damage (this because it rolls to 24% on weapons)

    Vit

You don't want CDR on your weapon. Even though it rolls to 10% it doesn't help over another slot because you will still need 2 other slot.

This the way the list works. You want the first 4 for a good weapon. If the weapon doesn't have one of the first 4 roll for it to be added. RCR is always there and cannot be rerolled but you can add. Don't do that.

What it comes down to is you will either have Vit or Area Damage as your last priority. You want AD but the other stats are more important. If you don't have max discipline the weapon is garbage. But increasing weapon damage is more important than increasing Max Discipline from a lower roll.

Weapon damage is what all your other bonuses multiply. You want something close to 3400 dps without IAS.

posted a message on Ancient Yang's - What's the Easiest Way to Get it?

Yellows to Legendary is by far the easiest way. Craft the yellow and save any you pick up.

I suppose if you had about a thousand forgotten souls you could gather enough bounty mats. My character has almost 2000. But I don't think you need to go that route for your first bow.

Quivers are a better way to spend blood shards.

posted a message on Cow Rifts are real, and here's why you should clear the entire thing (+VIDEO)

I just did one this morning. Yeah I did a full clear. There does tend to be a lot of goblins. Not on every level, and not necessarily in packs. But, this has more to do with the amount of floors. You can have a cow rift with 10 or more floors. So yes a lot of goblins per rift, but, overall, about the same amount of goblins per floor. Why did I do a full clear? Didn't care about the goblins. Don't get me wrong, nothing more satisfying than killing goblins. But if you are looking for pools of reflection, there is always a pool at the corner just before the floor exit. It isn't always a pool of reflection, but it seems to be about a 40%ish chance that it will be. I'm pretty sure I got 4 this morning. Of course I entered a 54 GR right after the Cow Rift and lost my pools because I got attacked by 3 Elite Pack in a Keep Depths map. But for me, it's all about the Pools of Reflection.

posted a message on The "Help me Re-roll" Thread (Demon Hunter)

Area Damage. Weapons roll to +24%. This is higher than anywhere else. If you are going to have it, you want it on your Weapon. But, you would need a GG one, but, you don't have that problem.

posted a message on New consumable idea

No disrespect, but I hate every idea that you listed. Other than the Ancient, none of these items are like Ramaladni's Gift. To be honest, Blizzard should have just put sockets on all Legendary weapons. I hate the Ancient thing because, it just encourages hoarding. I hate the other ideas because they seem like you are just "bottling" shrines and pylons. What makes shrines and pylons fun is the RNG nature of them. If you can just let the genie out whenever you want, it seems OP and would ruing the competitive nature of Greater Rifts. There are all ready the Gloves of Worship that can be equipped that does what you want for the shrine effects. And Potions are for defense, Blizzard will not change their stance on this. The only Potion that has any offensive capabilities is the Potion of Amplification which immediately regenerated resources, but it's legendary power is restricted to only working when you are below 25% life.

posted a message on Should i keep playing or not?

The game goes on sale every once in a while for PC. But RoS is an expansion so you would need to buy D3 first then expand. So it might be less expensive to stay on console. Sale prices in US for PC have been $20 each so 40 total.

RoS has added a significant amount of content over the original game. The next patch will add even more. Being able to play Adventure mode is a lot better than playing campaign and it allows you to play Rifts. These are random dungeons that have random monsters with a better chance for legendary drops. If you like Vanilla December, RoS is worth the upgrade. Hopefully you can get it at a decent price.

posted a message on Let's try this again..making Diablo 3 competitive

If they did this as a weekly deal, I think it would be a good challenge and you only get 1 shot at it each week. They are doing this kind of thing with Hearthstone. Each week your get a different Tavern Brawl. But if they kept the same map for an entire Season it would be boring. And if you could do with multiple attempts, the challenge is silly. There would be guides on how to master the challenge. RNG is there because it keeps people from having the answer upfront. This would be like playing a card game and instead of shuffling the cards, you got to put the cards in the order you saw fit.

Now if they gave you a character with the same gearing that everyone got, this would be a better challenge. People would have to use some weird skills that aren't being used in the current Metagame. If they did that, you could allow multiple attempts. People could Theorycraft some builds to get the best times.

posted a message on recommended toughness, healing and dps for torment levels

Dude, post a link to your battle.net profile. It isn't even clear what class you are playing. Each class will require different stats. Demon Hunters generally done have much Vit and therefore not much HP. You just kite and if you die, well, you just hope your cheat death passive is off cooldown. If you are having issues with dying, level up Molten Wildebeest Gizzard if you are ranged class or an Esoteric Alteration if you are melee class. Monks tend to go for cooldown reduction to keep Epiphany up. Monks can easily have 1/4 Billion Toughness while a well geared DH won't even be close to 1/2 million HP with maybe 15M toughness. If you are having trouble leveling your gems to rank 25, then you can run with Boon of the Hoarder and a Gold Wrap belt. This won't work in greater rifts, but in T6, you should easily be able to have a half million armor if you just pick up gold off the floor.

The current Metagame is this: Once you complete your 6-piece set you can skip T5 and play T6. All 6 piece sets should pretty much let you 1 or 2 shot monsters on T6.

posted a message on Kanai's Cube. Can old/existing legendaries be broken down?

Extraction is off a menu or pre-defined as mentioned above. You get what is on the menu after you have made the passive skill available. So legacy affixes will not have be included. I would think that if you extracted an item with a legacy affix, you would get the menu passive skill. If the item is not on the menu as some Vanilla items at level 60 may be, the cube would probably reject it.

posted a message on Hi, I will be glad to get opinions for my build

If you can get Strongarm Bracers with knock back as a secondary, you can get some added bonus damage if you switch your MS to Suppression Fire.

You should be asking Kadala for a better helm with Vit, CHC and EA. Don't roll off CHC as it is better of the 2 especially since you have high enough CHD. You just want both bonuses. Your gear is very good, it just need optimization and upgrading the Helm is easiest one to get because it always rolls with socket. You would get the most out of a better quiver, but, quivers are also the most affected by RNG because they can add bonus damage for every offensive skill. Right now you have 2 useless stats. If you could get one slower travel speed with EA, Max Discipline and and only 1 useless stat, it would be a big improvement. I'm trying to get a better quiver right now and you get a lot of ones that just can't be rerolled without a useless stat. So go for the Ancient Helm. There aren't many DH only helms outside of the sets so, this isn't too hard. This isn't the case for WD, Monks, and Wizards. WD have masks, Monks have Spirit Stones, and Wizards have Hats. The only good DH helm is Pride's Fall and it's not in the Drop Pool.

For higher Greater Rifts, I prefer Singled Out. Ambush is really good if it you are 1 or 2 shotting things. After that it loses value. I'm guessing you are playing multi-player because I don't see a skill that will proc CtW or BotT. So you would be close to 100% CHC if you have some support on the GRG.

You could try Golgok to get more balls out and increase uptime of Wolf.
