posted a message on Activision Blizzard Q4 Conference Call
I am not angry or mad, I am disappointed and it's far worse. You can say that they didn't imply or specify that this game would come out this or that date but the fact remains.... we were all misslead. There was so much contradictory information here that I never knew what to expect. Actually, I don't know what to expect from this game really.

Just months away from release date, they start to remove and add key features and justify it by saying... "it's better for the game". What?!? better for the game.... and you realised this when? Removing the boss deaths sequences is just another proof that they lost focus at some point of the development. The feature was on the list for 4 freaking years and they just decided to remove it now... something doesn't add up. If they decided not to do it 2 years ago, I would of understood.... but they had 4 years to do it, there is no excuse.

Seriously, it's when I look at the Blizzard North crew that I realise how good they were. They took a total of 3 years to develop the whole game and we are still playing it. The irvine team is taking 7 years and I sadly doubt that it will be that much better against guild wars 2. I know they want to make a worthy sequel, but this is already looking like a flop to me. Not because it won't be good, but because the ratio development time/quality is diminishing very rapidly. Tic toc Jay Tic toc.

posted a message on Diablo 3 Beta Patch 11 - Official Patch Notes
This is a load of BS, death animations... hard??? Look at dead space and you'll know that the technology is out there. Besides, they could have done it for the 4 big bosses and some 2nd bosses if they had time. Include a radius of effect and a health threshold to trigger the event. Why they are lacking time to do this and rushing it is beyond me. Tthey had 4 freaking years to do this and with an engine + couple of mechanics already in place. We're now looking at a 8 year development cycle... I hate to say it but, in my eyes, this game is already a failed product. I had time to play 3 uncharted games while they made a 4 act game .

This is looking more and more like Fable now, they give you all those wonderful features and just before release, they squam half of it saying things like: "system isn't relevant", "not mature enough", " it didn't feel right", "Added nothing". I don't know what is happening behind the blizzard doors but I'm eager to get my collector's edition to see those meatballs working on it. When they said that diablo 3 would be the last of the current franchise I was sad. Now I couldn't be happier, this wait is a true torture and seeing how it's going down in the last months before release is painful!

I cant believe they said late 2011 and now we"re in february. Well one this is for sure, I think that Blizzard is run by the 3 evils. They make me HATE them for the 4 year wait, they DECEIVE us with false release dates, I DESTROY my desk each time there has been a system change and they TERRORISE us by saying the game might now come out in early 2012.

posted a message on Diablo 3 Has Officially Been Pushed Back
Wow this game is aiming at one of the longest development times I've every seen.... I hope it has the material to back it up cause, otherwise, it's gonna be deceiving! I can't believe i'll have played all 3 mass effects (ginormous games) while they had the time to finish 1 game !

Anyway, we have plenty of good o'l games to keep us entertained (battlefield 3, batman, skyrim... need I say more?

makes me think a little bit of demon souls... and I can't bare that game anymore. Every time I pick up the case, my hands become incontrollable, start to shake, I black out and when I come back to my senses... the box is on the other side of the room and there's a hole in the wall.

The UI is fantastic across the board :xD: .. Themed near perfectly, and easily understood. If I were to make one gripe though, I think the Barb's Fury should be more..chunky? Molten lava comes to mind when I picture a personally improved version.

I think I'm just jealous the Wizard's Arcane Power looks so wicked.. <_<

Wow, you must be reading my mind cause I was thinking about lava when I saw the fury globe. It Needs more lava!!

Also, anyone notice the mana globe changed since last year??

posted a message on I learned something cool about D3 today.
They announced it in 2008 at the Paris convention in august if I recall correctly. It was part of the first info released along with the barb and witch doctor classes. It's dinosaur news ^^! Still it remains a cool feature none the less.

I uhhh...uave uh uhhhhuuh never really uh uhhh uhh uh seen those uhhhh...
You can see from those videos that Jay is in the final stretch to finish the game :) People tend to say uhhh a lot when he's tired or stressed. It could be the press even but the 2010 was probably more stressful for him and he didn't say that many uhhh there. Just mindless speculations, I guess as a fan I wanna have the game in MY hands by the end of the year *sigh*.

LETS HOPE FOR THE BEST ^^!

posted a message on AAA to AA
Vive la revolution! But seriously, the major problem I see is that the media controls the masses. The fact is, the television has taken so much place in our lives that it has actually a grasp on it. We grew up with it... from 3 years old to your current age, it acquired a certain status where it acts as a mentor and parent. We therefore have a lot of ease to accept horrible concepts as undeniable truths from an omnipotent picture. This is bad, no more free thinking for normal citizens. If you don't know better, you're gullible as the rest of them =/.

I've read an article about a study where people were invited to a tv show. In it, they had to give an electric shock each time the "victim" answered wrong to a certain question. Now the intensity of the electric shocks ranged from 10 V for the first wrong question to 800 V max. From 500V you can potentially kill someone. I must say that the show was a set up and that everything was simulated....except the test subjects (invited citizens). The conclusion was that more than 90% of the people went and gave the maximum dose of 800V because they did not dare revolt against the authority that represented the TV show. They went to 800V despite the fact that the "victim" seemed to suffer greatly after 400 V and stopped responding after 500V. This is crazy! When they were asked why they went this far as to kill a man, these normal people all said :" Since it's a TV show, it's not possible that I was really killing someone". This my friends is power, being able to control people and suppressing their moral values in order to impose yours. BAD FOR THE FUTURE!

posted a message on What will it take to get blizzard to add more options for PVP?
Well, one form of income would come from the RMAH. I think it is a viable business model from a financial standpoint.I agree, they should finish the game and worry about the pvp after since they will mostly consist of simple systems and not big overhauls. Anyway, the way it is right now, 8 years of development and no actual income, it's about time they harvest the crops!!
