posted a message on Soul-Bound items. Good God No Please NO
"Put yourself in blizzard's shoes: you spend years making a game, and along comes this group of players (PvP) who does everything in their power to avoid playing the game. a bit disheartening, no? now, you can say "oh, but we play the game, we just don't play it over and over and over again". that might be, but let's face it: most of your characters were probably rushed, anyway, so you hardly experienced the game at all. personally, i've completed the game with all classes at least once, and if you think finishing Hell with non-cookie-cutters is just a matter of grinding and farming....you're mistaken."

Good one, its like, where is your damn appreciation? kinda line, it works for me sometimes, I dont know for the others here.

Well, if that is the case then I think I'm just gonna have to spend more time on study and research on pure mathematics and get my bachelors degree major in mathematics till diablo 3 gets out next year or probably next next year.

posted a message on Chicago Tribune Writer Describes Diablo 3 As "Totally '90s".
Damn, there's nothing really special about the 90's other than the popularity of the goths. I think that is why this game is soo important, at that time everyone wants to do something, something weird and macabre. And that's it, the birth of the game, Diablo, praised by some fundamentalists as inspired by some satanists. What they don't know about is that, its purely dark fantasy and for entertainment purpose only. This game reflects the pressures of the 90s, the decline of the Christian culture in the west. But, I do really miss the 90's.

West Coast has always been the center of the gaming industry, no doubt that when you're here, you have tons of oppurtunities to see games that are not available yet.

posted a message on Just how heavenly do you want your Heaven?
I envision the High Heavens as somewhat a Transcendental Hierarchy of Nine Ethereal Dimensions(T.H.O.N.E.D.). A place where you can pass through any matter. The possible architecture would be either Baroque or Romanesque. A kind of radiant Light that has never been seen is present everywhere. Order, Balance, Purity, Neutrality and Harmony represents each Holistic Dimensions which reflects the inhabitants. I doubt if there were any clouds present there, but only purely Light. It also depends on how we interpret the term 'Light'. Should the High Heavens be defined? Or simply a place of eternal simplicity?

The design of Lilith(sorry I don't know her Demonic title) reminds me of Hellraiser, black outfit, metals, chains, arachnid, sadomasochistic atmosphere.

posted a message on Diablo Movie
What are your thoughts on this upcoming project by the successful film company Legendary Pictures that has a unique partnership with Warner Bros? I have mix feelings about this and I'm not sure if this will be succesful enough to produce future sequels or even prequels. Based on the fact that alot of movie-based games are either cool or just plain garbage. I hope that they hire the original thinkers behind the Diablo I to work for this one and follow the way the story goes.
