Well I went to an SC2 midnight release and got my game at about 1235 or so after waiting in a line that went throughout the store. If you get there a bit before midnight usually its not that bad. That was the only midnight release I've gone to though.
I went to the midnight release too, i think i was there 2 hrs before, and there was still a descent lineup. Although i was one of the first 200 and got a free Razer mouse and i think it took me an hour to get through
haha i havent done anything extraordinary for april fools, just saran wrap under the toilet seat, and i taped down the sprayer on the kitchen sink so whoever started the water would get sprayed.
Reading through a few of these suggestions, the one catching my eye is the increased chance to drop when you hold a/all but 1 piece of the set. Theres a way to exploit that. Using a D2 example, people would just carry around every piece of tals set except armor, then trade or move it to another character, then start again. Its too easy a way for people to exploit it to get the best part of the set.
I like the finding different levels of the same set idea (of course with a small visual upgrade as well). would be cool to wear sigons from start to end of game - of course you look epic by then end, not looking the same the entire game.
i think everyone needs to remember that your not just going to be able to get keys from here, i got my SC2 key from doing SC's trivia they posted on facebook. For every set of questions they released 100 keys, and they did this like 5 times a day for a few weeks.
So theres plenty of opportunity, so dont start laying all of your hopes in receiving one from this site. Im sure blizz will do something similar.
I want clans just so I can play with the same people more often and make friends, I always have a more enriching experience with a game when I'm in a good clan/guild. I just pray to the light that we will have a in game clan chat and not have to rely on using chat channels in the battle.net lobby.
Music to my.....eyes? :ermm: Anyhow, The one thing I would like to see is being able to have a Clan set up on Bnet, where you can basically have an unlimited flist for all of the members within your Clan. Very much like Guild Wars. Have it set up so only Clan leaders can invite new members. Otherwise you'll have people within the clan inviting everyone and their mother that they meet in game.

but that does sound pretty neat, never played Guild Wars, but that sounds like a snazzy clan feature(things about getting Guild Wars 2 though).
hmmmm id like to see that bashiok quote, but i dont see why it would take that long after beta, id presume 1-2 months max after beta finishes for release - similar to SC2.
This calories bullshit is all hokum. I went to this dietician to try and gain some weight. I ate like a pig for a whole week. And I mean a PIG. It was something like, 4000 calories/day. Result at the end of the week? I lost 700 grams.

ive got complete confidence in creepyness, i recall a video (i think barb) where the monsters would crawl up from the lower levels. That says to me that if that can happen, theres a good chance for more intense stuff.
I picked scalable just cuz it seems like it would work fine, just not sure how the bonus scaling would work with different tiers. But if there is an auction house, i see no problem with it being the exact same as D2.
Theres something about runes i wouldnt mind if you guys could help clear up for me. If you socket a run into a sword does it effect all of your skills? It makes me think that you get s 6socket item filled with runes and your skills would be insane!
So without hearing your feedback about it yet, what would you think about putting runes in the skill box's themselves so 1 rune effects 1 skill. Its bad if you were looking forward to those insane skills with mass runes, but it would allow you to make each one unique.
i remember seeing lots about runes but i guess i never caught that.
