I agree, thats a really awsome idea, just have it so maybe a little notification will appear top screen if theres been any offers on your stash items, and you can quickly accept or not quickly.

Of course this could slow the game down if you wanted to examine the offer, so could leave it as notification and check it out when you get to town again.

I actually do not want to see it. I found it was annoying to be asked to a duel, since I do not like duelling and many players in the party then exited out of the game. This was prior to 2004. I only recently playing battle-net since I joined the Brotherhood of Destruction Clan. I only played one day but it was fun so far.

I see where your coming from, thats why i would like it not be as good somehow (as i put in my 2nd post about no health globes). I would hope to only see this as a spur of the moment thing. I would hope that if someone really wants to duel they'd go to the regular arena first.

I know it would suck if 2 people wanted to duel then the other 2 had to take on the rest of the monsters (or just watch) which would put the duelers behind.... but thats a deterrent hopefully.

I think duels mostly happened for me with a friend in a transfer game, put on all your new gear and test it out!

Of course without knowing how all the PvP systems will work we wont know of this idea is actually plausible or necessary. But its something i wanted to see opinions on. Shouldnt be as nice or as good to use as the regular arena so people dont over-do it, maybe an arena that doesnt spawn health globes or something. Just so it doesnt become a primary duel place.

I'll start off by saying i wasnt too big into PvP in D2, just did it occasionally with friends. But my idea is what if there was a special small arena you could take a waypoint to?

Heres the situation - your playing with a friend, maybe you two just wanna do a quick duel, without leaving the game you can just take a waypoint to an arena and have (a) quick duel(s), then get back to your questing.

I dont mind the arena only games, but i'd like an alternative like this if you just wanna do a quick one.

    Thoughts?

id hope for a release of a unseen system but i think they'd do something lame like tell us what the other resources systems are called. To me they're all mana with different ways of regenerating :P

gold sink: once only cost to equip, increasing depending on rune level.

Swap has a 1min cooldown: can swap any runes you have already linked to skill.

Fresh Runes: Useable on skill after sinking gold through item provided through mystic's quest? :sorcerer:

I don't agree with cost to equip, only remove.
And if your going to do a cooldown of 1 minute its just gonna slow down the game, because that IS going to cause people to stay idol for a minute if they're unsure or something - and they want to stay away from.

I havent voted yet because im really quite torn (leaning towards other as in just being in town or mystic for just a small fee). :/ But i also think people are reading rune swapping as something that is going to occur often. You have 7 skills, chances are your not gonna want to swap a rune because it works better on this group of monsters. Because you have 6 other skills and probably one of those skills works just fine for that situation.

So actually picture yourself playing. Do you see yourself just using a different skill for that situation or do you see yourself taking the time to stop and switch out a rune?

yea, for your first hammerdin you gotta find the sweet spot, you can either cast a few from afar and they'll come to you, or as apples said if your just below the monster you'll always hit (when you get enigma you can just tele then cast and you'll hit all the time).

As for your mana, get redemption and every time you see a descent number of dead guys switch to that for 2 seconds and you'll be full again.

And yea avoid casting beside walls or columns haha the hammers arnt that strong that they can pass through those :P

posted a message on New to the game, have some questions
I would say orb is one of the funnest/easiest skills for the sorc and i really recommend it (i hate blizzard).
Fireball you rape early on, and it continues to be good minus the resistant people.
And something for every sorc build i see some people neglect is static field. Amazing spell!! perfect for any boss if you can take a hit or 2 or let someone else tank you take their health down like nothing.

For the hammerdin, its pretty simple, max hammer and its synergies and concentration and its synergies with extras into holy shield. And even with low gear its usually still good enough to solo with.

From what i read of your first post your newer and your not gonna have great gear, so i recommend hammer and orb sorc.

In regards to that juggernaut amazon you were talking about, its just a run 3 of us are doing. Playing hardcore and we're not able to buy/sell items, heal unless your required to talk to them for a quest. etc. so we have a juggernaut zon(immolation respecing to strafe), necro(summon), and myself a sorc (fball/orb).

So in conclusion with cheap gear orb sorc would be my first pick and then hammerdin because those own everything and the low damage ones can still handle their own in PvM.

    heres an obvious one
Norris Kick - monk grows hair and beard changes to resemble chuck norris then the monk wins the game

power kick - the kick causes a wave to follow it and stuns targets behind it

nado kick - monk kicks so fast it creates a tornado knocking back and stunning enemies
