I hate to be over dramatic, but it makes me feel like this thread is the embodiment of everything that has gone wrong with Diablofans.
It just makes me sad, thats all.

Really, you should play HoN instead. I've heard nothing but junk about LoL, and i've been playing HoN for a good 4-5 months and it hasn't gotten old in the least bit.
You'll have to ask someone who already plays for a key (I personally don't have any, and had to ask a friend for one). But it really is a great game.
If you like Dota, or just having a great time with some friends (I play with 4-5 of mine all the time), then you'll really like this game. It's simple and easy to get in to.
I actually really enjoyed this, and I wasn't expecting to.
The story sucked me in quite quickly, although it wasn't exactly the hardest storyline to predict. Damsel in distress? Of course he's gunna save her.
So what i'm trying to say issss: Moar plz. :3
Hopefully some more will be up by the time I wake up tomorrow? I look forward to it.

So, we really don't know anything about what the 5th class is going to be as of right now. It COULD be a character from the previous games, and it could not be. Nothing is official yet.
But ANYWAY.
Oath, I agree with you for many reasons, most of which you've already covered.
- Like you said, every class so far has got it's fair share of Melee and Ranged attacks and abilities. The Wizard for example is even a very viable Melee class, as well as a very strong ranged magic class depending upon the build.
Now, this brings up a lot of questions. "How could they make a fully ranged physical class, when every other class has very good ranged abilities by themselves." Anddd, "If there was going to be a pure ranged ONLY class, what could be special about him that you would only want to use ranged abilities?"
I think that Blizzard will surprise us and bring a type of Gladiator/Marauder, Swashbuckling, Ranger type class who will be a fully viable Melee as well as Ranged character. Traps, Auras and all that kinda nifty stuff.
I know everyone is shouting for the Ranger/Archer to be the 5th class, but I've just go to say that I wouldn't count on it.
But then again. I could be wrong. ;]
Exactily. Hearthstones or somthing else like that which you could bind to any of the towns in Diablo 3 (Which i'm sure there will be more of instead of just the 5 from Diablo2) would be a great idea. Kind of WoWish, but hell. They work.
