    There is an important balance between quality and quantity. Blizz tends to lean towards the quality-side which should be commended in today's economy.

    With that said, they need to release this game asap. Blizz's marketing team is savvy and tries to keep people interested in their games as long as possible, but they also tend to frustrate their fan base with delayed releases.

    Think about how quickly they were able to release expansions for WoW. It makes you wonder why D3 is taking so long.

    posted a message on Diablo II included on "10 Games That Won't Die!" list.
    D2 was one of the first games I played online and it is probably my favorite. I haven't played in years but will probably start playing it soon because of the Eastern Sun mod and anticipation of D3.

    I really hope D3 comes out in VERY early 2010.

    Am I against he transfer of items on the battefield? No. I don't care. It's TRADING I don't want to see. The wuw, wug, wuw, wug ordeal. Even just putting an item in the trade window to show people will annoy me. But you can't have the transfer of items without the possibility of people wasting time showing items or trading so I would rather just say no to it all. Items can wait and if you ninja potions you suck really hard at life.

    And FYI: all 3 examples (A,B,C) you gave of trading were not trading they were giving. Please read the line after that.

    Let's not get into symantecs of calling it "trading" vs. "giving."

    Just add a pop-up window, "Are you sure you want to socket this item?"

    Sure it's annoying when you are socketing things on purpose, but it saves those accidental socketings.

    I don't see the need for many MMO style mechanics in the Diablo series. Generally speaking, the only thing you can help out another player with during battle, is trying to kill the mob that is killing them. Diablo 2 already had icons for the other players in our party with a health bar associated.

    Custom UIs would be fine for relocating buttons, moving icons, etc. I would prefer not to have add-ons like Boss Mods in WoW. This game doesn't need that.

    I voted yes and here's why:

    If I am playing with a few buddies and we are approaching a tough situation, it behouves me to make sure our group can survive. So if I want to give my buddy a potion in preparation for it, I don't want to have to go back to town just to exchange said potion. It's quicker to open up a trade, give him the potion, and get ready to kill.

    The only issue I have for the character and skill screens would be that they seem to 100% cover each side of the screen. This may be due to the way the screenshot was cropped but either way..

    It would be better if these screens were a bit smaller in each dimension so that a player could see a monster approaching while they are messing around in these screens. Then they could quickly close them and continue the fight. With the way the screens are currently shown, the player wouldn't know until the monster was almost right on top of them.

    There should definately be a level cap. Players need something to work towards.

    If players want some kind of additional recognition or reward for hitting level cap, then have one dungeon that can only be accessed at lvl 99 which is challenging and rewards the player with decent drops and a vanity item for showing off (perhaps a crown or King's robe)

    I liked it. They may eventually include something from this in the real game like they did with last year's WoW prank.

    Last year's WoW prank was the Bard class. A bunch of months later, the weapon from the Bard class prank was added to the game and you could play guitar with it.
