There is a good guide on wikikariam on defending. You can find it in the guides section of that site.

Being an offensive player is not really the best thing to do. War is, just like irl, bad for both sides. =P

BTW i still think you should get a colony on a marble island and abondon your sulfur town...

I'm going to set up a colony on a marbe island, but not abandon my marble island. Sulfer is needed to build a good army and and navy. I am planning to have a really powerful navy so I could blockade my foes and then attack them to take over the town.

Edit: If anyone could be so kind and donate some crystal and marble to my island, as I am in really big need of those. I have sulfer for trade.

Even worse; you're an Assassin and the entire map is full of oblivion knights..

Even worse, you're playing as a sorceress in normal surrounded by Flayers in Act 3.

But let's get back on topic. Come on guys. Think of more ideas!

But still, WoW has just become one of the best selling games of all time. And it now holds the record for the most copies sold on release night, which is kind of crazy.

posted a message on Wrath of Lich King ends the WoW series in a Blast!
As World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King was released, it was expected to be a success, but who knew it would now be the fastest selling PC game of all time? Yup, folks, it has, as the one of the successful games releases its second expansion pack. Here is the full article:

IRVINE, Calif. - November 20, 2008 - Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. today announced that World of Warcraft®'s second expansion, Wrath of the Lich King™, has sold more than 2.8 million copies in its first 24 hours of availability*, making it the fastest-selling PC game of all time. This eclipses the previous record of nearly 2.4 million copies sold in 24 hours, set in January 2007 by Blizzard's first World of Warcraft expansion, The Burning Crusade®. Wrath of the Lich King was simultaneously released in North America, Europe, Chile, Argentina, and Russia on November 13; Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand on November 14; and South Korea and the regions of Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau on November 18.
In celebration of the launch, more than 15,000 stores throughout the world had their doors open at midnight to welcome thousands of expectant players. Several of these locations were attended by Blizzard Entertainment representatives, who met players and signed copies of the game.
"We're grateful for the incredible support that players around the world have continued to show for World of Warcraft," said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. “Wrath of the Lich King contains some of the best content we’ve created for the game so far, and we look forward to seeing even more players log in to experience it in the days ahead."
"After a single day of availability, Wrath of the Lich King is already the bestselling PC game of 2008 at GameStop and ranks as one of our top-selling products so far this year," said Bob McKenzie, GameStop’s senior vice president of merchandising. "In keeping with the tradition established by their previous releases, Blizzard Entertainment has again created a product that not only reflects their high standards of quality but is clearly an instant hit with gamers around the country."
Prior to the launch of Wrath of the Lich King, World of Warcraft’s subscriber population had grown to more than 11 million players, further strengthening its position as the world's most popular subscription-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game. More information about the new expansion can be found at the official Wrath of the Lich King website: www.worldofwarcraft.com/wrath.

Kind of crazy for an expansion pack to get this much attention. But it has, and it's still growing. But this game marks an end to the World of Warcraft series for now, as Blizzard has it's full attention on Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2, and World of Warcraft is now one of the most played games on PC. What a spectacular finish! And we hope to keep playing WoW forever.

I really hope there is strategy into it. However i'm not talking about a RTS type of strategy.
If you take a game like God of War and play it in the hardest mode (God Mode at the first; Titan Mode at the second) it's a VERY strategical game. I hope they use that kind of strategy.
As they said God of War, Zelda and World of Warcraft are their inspirations for the boss fights, i can really hope VERY strategical and challenging bosses =)

I meant in a "you have to attack his back when he's charging up the 'ultra ray' and then jump on his head and press 'z' to yank out his horns which expose his weakpoint" way. I want stratedy to try and attack in different ways, like killing the shamans before going for the minions. That's good stratedy.

well there is a difference between use of relegious icons and actually saying the game is relegiously based.

There are many books that use terms such as archbishop that have no semblance of christainity in them.

    I agree with you there.

    Quote from "Fingolfin" »
Hmm I think that the comet is linked to it definately.

I don't think that Tristam is really pivotal, so much as that is where you go to find Deckard and drag his now ancient bones out of that mess he is in.

As for Leoric, it is entirely possible that he is simply restless, or that he has been distrubed by something evil.

With the very heavy presence of the cultist early on and throughout what I have read about the game, I am going to go with them having something to do with Diablo's return.

BTW, I am really excited about the fact that they are allowing us to see the world before the corruption this time around as opposed to following behind the corruption as was the case in the 1st 2.

But as you see, Tristram seems to be the main focus in all of the story we know so far, so we have to kind of try to base our gusses on Tristram.

Maybe taken a little but too far.

    Suggestion 1:
I would like to have a level called the flesh factory. The boss battle would take place in a room full of pits, there would be chutes that corpses (humans and demons) spill out of into the pits, a giant floating magic drill would come down every so often to mash the corpses into a gory stew that would bubble up from the pit. With it would be health orbs. The boss himself would be a shovel armed freak with body of a hellish centipede, on its back would be mounted fire ballistas that smaller demons would be firing at you. After the boss dies the remaining centipede sections (each having 4 legs) would split up and surround you. If you destroy the center of the boss he splits into two. The bosses main attack would be to try and shovel you into the pits, the secondary attack would be a lightning charged attack, that would emanate from his entire body and shock anything in the direct vicinity (the lightning would arc across the metal studs that hold his skin together), third attack would be to smash you with his shovels. His skin would be a mesh of stitched together husks from various demons (thus the flesh factory).
His head... Griswold (his head would be tiny in comparison to his body)

I like the entire factory idea, but I would like to change and add some stuff to it:

    Additions:

    1. Monsters are zombies that are deformed and put together by the flesh parts of the factories. They are sewed together and when they are killed, the parts still walk around untill they are literally destroyed.
    2. There are hooks on the walls where bodies hang to be worked on (like the butcher's room in Diablo 1) and drills all around you that put together zombies.
    3. There need to factory workers everywhere, which are effed up zombies that have have hammers on them.

    Changes:
    1. The boss is called "The Manager". He is a huge fat monster that carries a huge hammer that does massive damage when hit. His attacks include: Earthquake (slam the hammer on the ground and do damage), Bash (hit you with hammer when you come to close), and Frenzy (will go crazy with the hammer and swings it randomly multiple times. You can't really see his face, since it's all deformed and dead. But he has a huge bloody coat that has worms and guts still sticking out from all the stitches. When he dies, he explodes and all the guts get destroyed and spilled on the ground.
    2. There aren't pits all over. But there are boxes everywhere that have parts of human flesh that the factory don't need.

All in all, your flesh factory idea was the best. I just added a couple of stuff.
