If you present yourself confident and as long as you dont look like you've lived under a rock for 10 years, you shouldnt have much trouble. Smell nice, take showers, wear a hat or style your hair. If you have glasses, i do too. Girls like to talk about themselves, so ask them questions about things they're interested in. Granted online is ALOT easier talkin to girls, getting to know them in person is key. Im not going to lie i have had my share of online hook-ups, some girls dont mind online, but most like to hang out first in person before gettting really to know you.
Most girls like a guy who can make them laugh, so be yourself and be confident even if your shaking in your boots, girls think confidence is a total turn on. Don't be TOO cocky though or else she'll think your an arrogant asshole. So if theres a girl you have mind that you know personally (or met online) get her to hang out with you, go to a park or get ice cream, some thing like that. First of all, meeting girls that you have never seen before, like its one thing, knowing a girl that goes to your school or work or whatever than just going online and finding some girl you've never met before, chances are shes a physco, but hey if your willing to take that chance, be my guest. You might get lucky and actually find a nice girl, as long as you have common sense. Another thing, shyness is no excuse, although girls do think its cute, not talking is unacceptable. If a girl likes you a lot, you'll always be able to tell. First impressions are important, so just be yourself. Im a computer nerd, i love Dragon Ball Z and i play video games all the time, i also play guitar in a band. So make yourself sound more interesting than that. I usually say, "I play guitar in a band, im good with computers and i watch tv and play video games, how about yourself" It sounds innocent enough and you wont look like a total nerdball by saying that. A lot of girls play video games. Once you get to know her better and feel more comfortable THEN you tell her the details, she wont care by then.
