I kind find the quote but I'm pretty sure that you will res with your gear ("no more corpse running") but there will be a penalty for dying in some other way.

But the penalty is that your health decreases a certain percentage until you actually go to town.
I think it will be a "spell" that casts and takes x secs. This way you can't just continually res if you are still fighting. The player who is dead will have the option of just res-ing at the nearest checkpoint or to wait for the co-op res.

I think about something, 1 kill per character(you can't rekill the same character or account ?) = 1 score, considering that you have a limited number of character and/or you have a required level (like d2), you can't boost your score with a friend...
What's the things you think they're not going to be ?
Because we don't know anything about duel system and we don't know how big and far it's could be....
And yes the priority is PvE

I never play WoW so I can't say "AH is too WoWish" I only see positive points without any comparison... I'm sorry but if blizzard had AH in mind before d2, it's 100% they would put it. Complain about AH is very lame...
Anyway it won't be Auction House anymore, more like a "market place" Idk, Maybe the normal vendor will only have the "others players items" you buy and you sell... it's a ~common market~ !! idk
ehhh I think the primary purpose of ~AH is to not waiting and search others players to trade with.

Trade purpose : obtain what you want in exchange to something you don't need/want. In d2, almost time you couldn't complete a satisfying trade and have lose your night to try.
With Auction House you put your unwanted items in the "trade" in a sec. and can sort what you want in a sec.
Make it quick and without complication, it's only normal.
If you're smart enough you will understand that all what I said it's facts and not my opinion. Anyway I'm sorry for you because it's will be in d3, and if you ask yourself why re-read my post.

I think respec will be more a kind of quest instead of only gold and easiness to obtain.
I expect something like socket or desocket, items or gems and depending what you choose the other part will be destroyed.
I would something to boost your items as your wish, indeed you need to pay for, exponentially equal to the number of upgrade you've done and ~power level of your item you want boost.
