Before the hotfixes we were lagging out in high grifts, removing area damage points helped but the lag was still awful. This was in solo and group.
Now I have no lag, something must have worked..

I tested in a few 66's and had 0 lag (huge density in some). This is with points in area damage which I previously had to remove to reduce the lag.
(I play on AUS servers, if that means anything).
I wouldn't expect monks to go live as overpowered as they may be at the moment, but monks/barbs will most likely end up being the top classes this patch either way.
Blizzards design pattern across all of their games is to shift power around intentionally, leaving some classes behind while others get there chance to be top tier (for better or worse).
You pay for the game AS IS. Anything after that (patches/content etc) is a freebie/bonus that they have no obligation to provide.
I really wish the PTR did not exist lol. For me it starts out really exciting, and then like everything it inevitably gets old and a little stale quicker than if it did not exist and the first we experienced these changes was on Live.
Of course I could just avoid forums etc, but that's way too hard =[
I like the fact that it will store the max roll. Over the course of 800 paragons season and 750 non-season I am yet to see a furnace with max (or near max) elite dmg rolls. Same goes for many, many other items.
Too much RNG just ends up killing the game for many. Most friends of mine just stopped playing because of it.

Also, network speed is possibly the worst metric to determine the quality of your connection (packet-loss etc).
There are various issues at the moment that players wrongly assume is all related to this issue (ISP problems yada yada).

Yes Diablo is a 32-bit game, but 32-bit programs run perfectly fine (for the most part) in 64-bit environments..including Diablo.
The game engine is not the problem here, the problem is the number of calculations (NOT the size of the numbers) that the server is doing. Unlike many other games that are this data intensive Diablo does almost every single calculation (damage, healing etc) on the server. Other games utilize the clients system to do some of these calculations, but I assume that Blizzard went this direction for a number of reasons (prevent cheating etc).
Yes they could and probably should improve server performace, but this is not a "game engine" issue.

How does that logic work? Of course it's Blizzards fault for deploying software that contains bugs (what software doesn't have bugs?). However it's the players fault if they are banned for intentionally exploiting those bugs and use them in an attempt to gain an unfair advantage over other players (who want to play legitimately).

Capping paragon would not encourage people not to bot, this entire game is RNG (more time played = higher chance of getting what you want etc). The same people who bot paragon are going to bot anyway, and the benefit (just as large) would still exist.
Don't get me wrong, I despise uncapped paragon, however disincentivizing botting should never be a core game design consideration.

What you gain from an exploit is irrelevant...

Also, If you abused this bug you did so KNOWINGLY (the process required intentional steps to be taken), most likely with an understanding of the RISK and more than likely attempting to gain an ADVANTAGE of some sort...you deserve to have your game licence revoked.

I pay a membership at various clubs (gym etc), if I break the rules and get banned I don't get my membership fee refunded lol.

The leader boards are there just as a sort of novelty, not intended to be taken seriously. Why? It's an RNG loot based game, with other layers of RNG. Which is fine for the most part, as long as you don't think "ranks" in this game have much meaning. Just have fun.

Ice Blink doesn't benefit other players though, yeah?

Third one is missing max fury.

Second one.

..some changes? At least I think so anyway, and based on some other threads other people might agree.
Greater rift "fishing" seems to have gotten much worse this season. Here's a few things that I think could help -
Finally, I think that greater rift rewards should be scaled back slightly (drops and exp would still exist of course, just a little less), people feel as if they MUST do speed grift runs for the loot/exp. Rather greater rifts should mostly be about pushing the limits of your character, and rifts/bounties should be about growing your character (improving gear etc).
Agree/disagree? Have other ideas? Would love to hear...

Easy for Blizzard to track and ban this, wouldn't risk trying it.

To be honest, your gear is pretty good for clearing 55's comfortably. You could improve your resists by aiming for better secondary ones. You have (imo) way too much arcane resist, jailer won't one shot until you move into much higher GR's and you should be dodging arcane sentries.
Reforge your waist and feet, and try to get better gloves.
