First of all I want to say sorry for my English. It`s not my native language.
Barb is the worst class!
Deals no damage!
Not enough fury!
Go solo you gimp!
Almost every barbarian topic has these crying quotes. Pity cause it`s a total rubbish. Barb still can deal tons of damage and be a very useful party member. Just never give up on your class guys. Learn the mechanics of the class and try everything by yourself. No need to vine, barb still can kick some asses
Build:
Furious Chargewith “Merciless Assault” Rune (phys damage). One of the most important skills in particular build. It deals lots of damage, it generates fury and can save your butt from controlling elites like “Frozen” and “Nightmarish”. Take a closer look at my bracers. They give additional bonus for mobs who were knocked back. Furious Charge is a knock back skill.
Whirlwindwith “wind shear” rune (lightning). WW is a damaging and absolute free skill. It also can save your ass cause you can WW through the mobs. You even can accumulate fury if you have mighty weapon in your mainhand.
Battle Ragewith “Into the Fray” rune (phys Damdge). Yes yes! Into the Fray again! We must have as much CC on your barb as you can. Rend – is the most damaging skill in this build. And Rend is not very damaging skill if it doesn`t crit.
Rendwith “bloodbath” rune (phys damage). Why Bloodbath? Well, this rune has damaging chain reaction. For example you hit 10 mobs with Rend. 6 of them gets crit and 4 are not. These 6 dies fast and hits those 4 mobs with new Rend, which crits 2 of 4 rest. These 2 dies fast and crits last two. So the more CC you have, the faster mobs will die.
War Crywith “impunity” rune. We need all res on Torment 6
Ground Stompwith “Wrenching Smash” Rune. This skill is very important! Remember “Into the Fray”? After we pull enemy to ourself and stun them our CC jumps up. We need it for Rend. Also our Brawler passive starting to work (+20% to damage). Better to use Ground Stomp after the Furious Charge if you have
Strongarm Bracers. If you don`t have them, do the opposite way.
Passives: Brawler– let`s buff our damage with Ground Stomp or Furious Charge
Ruthless– everyone must die!
Weapon Mastery– crit chance, we need it!
Gear: All my gear you can see in a vid. Lot`s of STR. Rend bonuses on the chest and shoulders. +Bonus to Phys skills on amu and bracers. Just notice that all damage dealing skills have phys runes. Bracers with legendary bonus helps a bit.

Ignore the number, look at the idea.Quote from Thornagol
All of these skills are significantly overpowered. I don't think you could implement the belt with the bank tab because that would be affecting the UI, which is could cause problems for the user in-game. -

The build takes advantage of the Harrington Waistguard legendary and Mantra of Conviction (Annihilation). If done correctly these 2 synergies v well by doubling your dps and 55% faster movement speed for the majority of the run.

Keile posted a message on life steal question!!Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I'd like to see someone kite T6 with 200k toughness...then come along a pack with Vortex/Jailer/(insert AoE here affix here).Quote from Jamoose
The game is so much fun without life steal... You actually have to avoid getting damaged by certain things. It's a lot more challenging and feels like a game.
Just don't believe all the noobs who claim that they are "farming t6 easy" like a few days after release because they will probably be clearing a very small area and only killing like one pack or a rare mob spawn and farming chests or some crap.
People always bullshit. Some dude on twitch was like "lol wiz op, bought gear for 2m gold on ah and can farm t6 easy" and i spent like half an hour arguing with him basically telling him that he is bullshitting. His argument was that he kites with 200k toughness... I told him that some elite affixes will rape him, he got mad and left the stream eventually.
Don't believe all the trolls.
Good luck kiting it. Jailed? OK teleport out..oh wait now you are vortexed back in and one shot. At 700-800k toughness T6 champs practically 2 shot my Barbarian (who has aboue 70-80k hp)....so a wiz who lacks that passive 30% damage reduction that Barb/Monk get and only 200k toughness would just explode when the mobs even LOOKED at them. -

Well back when I really enjoyed Black Ice it was good because you'd kill a bunch of dudes on the front line and they'd leave patches for the rest to die on while you kept shooting. Patches lasted a bit longer and you could only kill one dude at a time so this basically "multiplies" RoF's effectiveness.Quote from Jamoose
What do you mean by "Would live black ice to work"
I remember that on PTR it worked quite well... (had this source back then).
Now you just hit everything at once anyways so no one is around to get hurt by black ice (except for the somewhat rare instance you're fighting an immobile champion pack with other smaller guys around who would leave well-placed patches behind).
Additionally the patch now lasts only 3 seconds. I just feel like with your increased AoE you may as well just have the BEAM do the most damage, you know? -

Zero(pS) posted a message on Wanna know why you aren't getting ladders?I don't think that's the devs reason... I'd be more inclined to think that the main reason they don't do a Ladder is because most of the playerbase won't understand they're not competing with guys that play 8-10 hours a day, and would demand changes to the less competitive side of the game because of how bad something is for the Ladder.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
The moment it becomes a feature in the game is the moment the players start thinking they have every right of demanding proper tuning. Just like every other feature introduced (Transmog, Rifts, Bounties, etc).
And they kinda have that right.
But the one thing they won't understand is that a Ladder isn't the priority, and that's when both sides will argue, clash and the devs are gonna have to stay in the middle, trying to please everyone once again. -

Bagstone posted a message on I can't possible be THIS unlucky."Hundreds of legendaries" in the "past 2-3 days"? We're exaggerating a bit here, aren't we.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Well, this is something I keep saying for over a decade, since the early days of WoW: The human mind is incapable of understanding "randomness". Many people think of "random" that a dice being thrown six times should yield 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 (not necessarily in this order). However, this is not random, this would be uniform distribution. Random means that 123456 can happen, but 111111 can happen as well. As soon as a "random result" is not uniformly distributed, the human mind constructs a theory as to why the result is not randomly distributed - many people think that after rolling a dice twice and getting a "1" twice, it's very unlikely that the next roll will be a "1". But the probability (looking at that single roll) will still be the same, obviously.
So, what you're perceiving is just a small sample. What I did many years ago when I started programming was to write a program that would roll a single dice many times, summarize the results, but also summarize odd streaks (occurrences of the same number in succession, results like 123456, and so on). When I rolled the dice 12 times, the result was almost never uniformly distributed. When I rolled the dice 12000 times, I would always have perfect 1/6 distribution for all rolls. But within those 12000 rolls there were really strange streaks, like 15 or 20 times the same number. Why? It's a rare occurrence, but as my sample was larger, I was exposed to more "abominations". Now imagine the server rolling billions of legendary drops every day. You just see a small sample out of these billions of drops. For the server it probably is uniformly distributed. For you, it appears to be completely skewed - because of the small sample.
TL;DR: We are humans, and as such we can't cope with randomness. And especially after playing for only a few days your sample cannot be possibly large enough to draw any conclusion at all. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

TL:DR - A new game mode that allows players to create a game where other players will randomly join and attempt to kill the game creator. Succeeding in killing or surviving grants players with bonuses like extra Nephalem Valor stack or dropped items like legendaries or new crafting reagents used to craft new recipes.
Disclaimer - These ideas are not thought out to the end meaning that all of the specifics are simply there to provide an example of how this system could work. I do not think that aquiring BIS gear through this system is healthy to the game but i do think that aquiring interesting new items through this system will add much needed flavor to D3. This system is not meant to replace other pvp modes like the death match arena. the build number 1.0.10 is intended to be that way just to emphasize the idea that this is fan made and will not have an equivalent build in Diablo 3's developing future.
Patch Features
New Feature: Renegade Hunting
For those who wish to add the element of risk and the excitement of the possible PK to their game, your time has come. Players will now be able to create a game under the "Renegade" mode designed specifically for providing an element of PVP into a normal farming game. Players who wish to hunt down other renegade players will now be able to join a random game under the "Hunt" mode.

Some legendaries should get buffed in terms of damage + sockets + the special affix for an example, the Hellrack should be able to roll higher damage, have 2 sockets and get a serious buff on the entangle thing it has.
Some legendaries should just get buffed to be equally as good as their counterpats. For an example, Messerschmidt's reaver should get a fixed socket and crit damage affix just like Skorn. This will provide diversity but won't make the Skorn weaker all of a sudden... Just provide us players with another option. Even appealing to the players who like to make their characters look cool is a good thing.

Besides, you probably feel the need to express your frustration so you create this thread but to be honest, who cares if some random dude quit playing D3 and gave away all of his items?
Good luck though...

How are monster density changes fake improvements? Seriously dude now you are just bullshitting.
I agree that these ideas are fresh and quite original (atleast some of them) but that does not mean that Blizzard is not doing anything and just fuckign us up. I love how people say "Maybe blizz will start to listen to its fans" when clearly that's what they have been doing for the past 6 months atleast...
You don't have to be a one sided fanatic if you want to support an idea.

Worst advice ever...
DH might be a bit underpowered in terms of MP10 farming at the moment since you need a gear that is like ten times more expensive than that of a barb, but clearly the guy wants to play a DH. Besides what makes you think this will be the situation for a long time? They just said they are going to possibly nerf barbs and wizards. DH is a very fun class to play but it's not for everyone. And not everybody rerolls characters just because they happen to be the flavor of the week. I remember that some of the people in my f list quit or rerolled when they nerfed the Wiz armor thing back when the game got released, had they stuck along with their Wiz they would have had an awesome character today that is capable of farming (quite easily) the whole game on mp 10 provided the right gear (which is relatively cheap).

All the kids who are like "gg blizz no pvp" are just a bunch of trolls. If they had something good they would have released it since it will surely make them some profit. But apparently its not good so its scratched. Claiming that Blizzard scammed us is just silly. I remember that asshole who had a huge post about how he managed to get his 60 euros back because he kept whining and threatened to sue Blizzard after he spent like 100 hours on the game. All i can say is - Freaking spoiled brats.
