    Then, go with this order:
Sinwar, Kingdom of Shadow, Moon of the Spider

Reason: Demon Astrogha first appeared in Sinwar. Then a couple thousand years later in Moon of the Spider.

I agree with permax, let's see some evidence supporting that Diablo is the strongest.

Following quote from Diablo novel: The Kindom of Shadow.

Diablo, perhaps the most feared, the ultimate manifestation of terror, the nightmare not only of children but of veteran warriors who had already seen the horrors men themselves could produce. Diablo it had been who had gazed most at bright Ureh from his monstrous domain, who had most been offended by its glorious existence. Order could be brought forth from the chaos created by Baal, and the hatred of Mephisto could be mastered by anyman with strength, but to have no fear of fear itself?such a thing Diablo could not believe and would not stand.

And let's not forget, Ureh was subsequently corrupted by Diablo.

I suggest you read the sticky thread Diablo Books Chronological Order first, sin war trilogy took place a couple thousand years ago, you should start with it.

Well, everyone has to eat, you know.
Carrying a forklike weapon enables you to lighten your pack. With its double function---Eat & Fight, you can finally kiss your swords & forks goodbye. A recent Invention by Westmarch Academy of Science, perfect mate of travellers of wilderness.

Well D3 is most likely going to be released in the summer of 2010..... maybe fall or winter but no earlier imo.

and Ora, you cant really pick out patterns with release dates because they are generally only released because of something that needs to be fixed, and no one can guess when something is going to be broken. (Get what I'm sayin'?)

    2011, my humble opinion.

Well, perhaps not mortal become demon, but possessed by demon. And as we know, the demons could somehow retained the knowledge and skills of their hosts.

Ok, my theory is "The Butcher Demon" in Diablo 1 is Darrick Lang's father, and who the hell is Darrick Lang? tip: the leading character in diablo novel "the black road".

    Quote:
The Black Road story expands over a year. Kabraxis isunleashed at some point at the beginning of the book, and over a yearlater (at the end of the book) is defeated. Towards the end of thatyear's gap it is stated that Tristram was recently destroyed by Diablo. It is also stated by Deckard Cain that Tristram was corrupted fornearly four years. So Tristram fell before Kabraxis was released, butthe actual Diablo I game where Tristram is 'saved' happens in the middle of this novel, before Kabraxis is defeated.

Which means the story of the black road happens almost at the same time with Diablo 1.

Darrick Lang's father is a butcher. Given the fact that his wife used to cheat on him and his abuse Darrick, he had every reason to fall to hell. Although Hillsfar is a little bit far away from tristram by road, which includes climbing Hawk's Peak, gets across Dyer River and all, one can easily reach the corrupted city by water. Plus, it is mentioned more than once in the story that Darrick Lang never came back to his family after joining Westmarch Navy,
which gives his farther more than enough time to go to tristram if something evil draws him there, and by something evil, of course, I mean diablo.

Greetings to you all. My name is Diabaalphisto. Don't really know wat to say.

Ummm, I'm a huge fan of Diablo's, ive played Diablo 1 a couple times, but never finished Diablo 2, guess i'm not that patient about the vaaaaaast environments.^_^

I did read a lot of Diable novels though, except "moon of the spider". The lores and legends just seem to facinate me more than the game itself.:)

OK, that's it, nice knowing you all, and let's have some fun!!!
