Mar 3, 2009Gamedead posted a message on Mobs that looks slightly different by BashiokWell Will Wrights main focus in the Spore engine was the randomized(or customizable) body parts, much like the A.I for the Sims took 7 years to develop and in both cases the focus of the game was centered around given 7 year development XD. If randomized body parts is anywhere as hard as making customizable ones(in the sense that it works, functional, looks good and doesn't cause crashes every 30 seconds), then i think it would've been one of their larger selling points by now. We can see them flaunting the Havok physics engine left and right, and they're keeping the randomized events in the game which would play into the engine as well, i think the randomized body parts may cause problems on the physics integration side, but it's right at home with the random encounters, so i'd say 50/50 based on those shallow facts XDPosted in: News

I was happy that they finally made a decent sex scene in a comic book movie, and it wasn't a "cock" it was a tubifex worm

And then the whole allegory thing required a visual representation of the words, so the artwork is of Michelangelo's "David" which shows knowledge, and then (Tyraels image) Death is in between with an evil grin that leads to hell, but he's kindof the buffer between the two because he's an angelic being with a sinister grin XD

"The Soulstones affect only beings that are non-corporeal and thus have no power over living, breathing creatures. When invoked, the Soulstones bring into being a strong "spiritual" vacuum. Any non-physical entities caught within this vacuum are drawn into the burning recesses of the Soulstone and are forever trapped within."
People seem to agree that Tyrael isn't a physical entity, made of light/etc., also if the prime evils can be captured in Soulstones, then I don't see why Angels wouldnt (since they are polar opposites of a similar entity; demons) so we at least know that he is a candidate for entering a soulstone.
Also:
"Although the artifacts were constructed in realms far removed from our own, we found that they were simple to understand." can be a hint to the idea that the soulstones were created in a realm/dimension outside of Heaven, Sanctuary, and Hell.
There is a gate to hell, but we see no gate to heaven so far, which may have been Tyraels motive to use a soulstone as an anchor(either to Sanctuary or the worldstone which was intended to keep heaven and hell out) to bypass any limitations.
