Diablo Looks pretty good ingame, with those massive spikes and all, and the angle hides those baby bearing hips (which was pretty much my only problem).

My hype for this game is poised to explode

Loved it (though as a hype builder the recent TV spots blow this out of the water (for me)).

My question is How are we suppose to be scared or threatened by Diablo if we know he's been whipped like 5 times already?

Anyone think that the assassin that killed Isendra is the one from D2? I mean, who else could kill the sorceress who whipped Diablo and the other evils. Can't believe she's dead. Doesn't that mean she is not making an appearence in D3?

I'm thinking that as Tyrael and Imperius fight, Imperius disarms Tyrael or destroys El'druin first before taking his own beating. Solarion being a huge ass spear, I can imagine an unarmed Tyrael catching it mid-swing or something.

I just added Odyn Son and gave you credit for its find. I am not certain on the Thunder Gods Vigor though so I'll leave it out for now. I did the same with Quick Draw Belt though the description sure fits the Wild West shootout theme. I will be sure to do more research to see if there is any connection. If so, I will be sure to give you credit. Lastly, the Justice Lantern I also left out but not because I don't see the reference. I left it cause I feel that there could be a Justice League reference in there. I am not all knowing with comics so if you could help me pin the reference, I would be very glad.

I think Tenhi is right about the green lantern reference, I mean its a green ring, the description talks about guardians of Sanctuary with no fear and i am pretty sure one of earth's green lanterns is a part of the Justice League.

When I'm in the loo, I still regularly read the bits of lore in the manuals for Diablo 1 & 2. My parents got angry at me recently becuase we had family over for the week of my birthday and I refused to remove the books from the bathroom. They threw them out when I went to the gym and it has affected my time in the loo if you know what I'm saying (I think Tal Rasha's sacrifice motivates me ). I need the Book of Cain's insane lore to keep me regular...rofl

But seriously, you can't imagine how much I'm gonna love this book. I mean, the creation of all things, Anu (my dad's name, I'm Diablo's Jesus ), Tathamet, finally some shit on the Angels and the Mage wars, Awwww Gawd I hope thats just drool on my pants.

Oh, and I have no idea where to pre order this from, I don't think there is an Amazon Australia. I have been searching for months, and the constantly changing release dates didn't help. Online shopping is such a pain.

Oh and isn't it "Maiden" of lust, because it use to be "Mistriss" of pain?

Zoltan Kulle looks intense, and Imperius...thats why i have tissues with me ;). When you can't see his hips, Diablo looks bad...ASS!

Thats a pretty huge confirmation about whats going to happen. I hate knowing this, yet at the same time i realise that i know nothing about how, when or why this happens. I love how we know so much, yet still have no idea about whats actually going on. As the old saying goes: "It's not the destination, but the journey to get there thats important". That includes all this speculation, i want more, im an addict

I'm thinking this "Stranger" guy might actually be Tyrael or Imperius, as previously speculated. The key i think is the sword. Tyrael seems to have a new sword now, the Sword of Justice, as seen in the new comic, the statue at BLIZZCON, the miniturete etc. So i think this may be a plot point. As for him being Imperius, i think the sword in the cinematic on the first page of Cain's/Leah's book looks like his sword in the image from the lore panel. Maybe a slight reference to a plot point? Who knows...just keeping myself moist before release :Plol

Oh, and maybe when he gets his sword back, he turns back into an angel. Remember all those concept art showing a tripped out angel.

I origninally thought that the Panel refering to the "throne" demons as lesser evils was just casual usage of the term, but i have a new thought (bling!) Maybe they are the remanant of past evils, the female one being Andariel, the horned guy has horns like Mephisto, so the last is Duriel (process of elimination). The reason that mephisto is on the same level as the others is that Diablo strategically took them out "one by one" and now they realise "damn, this guy got a plan, lets gang up on him"....wait! there are six guys on the throne. DAMN! Oh well, just leave this for fun reading.

Notice that in the cinematic, they are all smokey, then they look at Leah, then there is a flash (glowing eye flash?) and Azmodan appears from smoke. Now the reason for this? I dont know. Maybe its just an ability or maybe he needed to split in order to rule hell.

The three Demons on the thrones can't be Azmodan's sin generals because in the lore panel they said only two will appear and one of them is the Maiden of Lust, so unless the three demons are just there for show (doubt it) they cant be the sins.

We know what Andariel and Duriel look like so it can't be them, but it is very interesting that they may still have a role to play according to the panel's reaction.
