Sorry, my dear friend was on the computer for 12 hours playing.... Runescape... and I haven't had time to update on my thoughts on this thus far!

Thank you for the information on the Shared Stash. I knew it caused problems, but I did not know it was the major cause. Sucks, too. I have a solution for my problem though... make a second save file with only the Assassin in it so it will remove any temptation of thieving some items from my other characters, as well as get rid of all the items in the Shared Stash. PROBLEM SOLVED!

As far as times go, everything works well with me. You guys decide and I will be acceptable with it.

Jaykay is NOT hosting. :D I have a good ping, but we will have to see others, as well.

Builds: Can we change these based on how everything holds up? If we get into Nightmare or Hell, and we find out that we can't support, or play the intended part as well as we thought, but trying another build to find it works more, is that alright? It would also be best to try things out early. If we get into Nightmare, then find out our build is not working, we will lack a lot of gear for that specific build. Just a thought.

Jaykay, also known as Boat, if you please. Boat "The Bacon" Harbor.
You see, long ago, about (More or less, give or a take, a couple of months) Jaykay was left alone because of raiding pirates... The story goes as follows:

The vast, endless, enigma that is the ocean swayed in deep sadness; the dark ship of mahogany that was pillaged from past raids on innocent civilians suffering from the dispiriting times of a corrupted kingship.
The ship, a shadow of darkness itself, moved swiftly and silently along the ocean's surface toward an island in the distance, a glow of light emitting from it; a lit candle in a dark hall. The ship, massive in size, had a dark red tinted lining along the borders, the wood painted with a waterproof repellent, dark in color. The sails bearing a symbol on it, marking their ship's identity. The symbol layered on top of the gray colored showed a sword crossing over a salted meat product. The crew was full of pirates all different in style and ways of doing their job, but all the same and equal in their goals: pillaging the glorious goods of life and mankind itself - bacon.
The ship and it's inhabitants reaching their destination prepare themselves. Equipping their sashes, and along with them their single-edged blades that carry a sheen that the moonlight offers. They carry sacks on on their opposite handed sides, ready for the burden of bacon. The pirates had a same look to each of them; pale with dark eyes; their teeth missing, and if not, rotting and decaying from the roots, a yellow tint as if they use sulfur for a daily snack; their bodies differ in size but the same in condition - hard, scarred, and as unappealing as a person who is writing a story about how a man's name is Boat "The Bacon" Harbor cares to describe.
    They strike.
The pirates, running through, slashing, stabbing, and cutting anything they can, especially anything that moves. They came quick and catching everyone off guard. A family in a small house in the back is just another randomly selected target. But it held a boy, hiding in his room, crying, and unaware of the events that were about to occur.
The door bashed open; shards of wood splintering against the walls surrounding the once standing door. The pirates came, one stood hunched over with a sneer on his face, and the other taller in size, square in face, and ugly as #$(*. They came and stormed the place, finding the boy's mother using her self as a human shield to protect her only child, her only son. She was facing away from the door, her back shown. She was crouched low, holding the boy's head in her chest and whispering her last words.
The saw this, and without a second thought, they did their ill-considered act... and stabbed her in the back, slightly to the left, killing her instantly, and dropping her body in what seemed to be in the boy's mind as slow motion, down into cold blood, pooling and staining the boy's mind forevermore.
The father came into the room in a berserk, and with a flurry of movements managed to land a strike on the hunched pirate's temple, dropping him and landing his head onto a wood post that was used to hold up a bed frame, killing him. The squared pirate saw this, turned, and stabbed the father in the chest. The father died without being able to completely avenge his wife, and now, his son's life.
"Yer father killed mah partner. Yer gonna be mah new partner," the ugly pirate spoke. His voice was low and deep. He grabbed the boy by the neck, and carried him off to the boat, ready for departure into the vast nothingness of the night.
Over the years the boy learned how to use a blade, how to capture, how to live, and how to kill, like a pirate. His family members forgotten and lost in his memories. However, he had nightmares every night of a women he did not know, being murdered, and he would wake up in cold sweat, breathing hard, always with a flash of dark red, the blood of his little known of mother.
The boy was a mute until he reached the age 13. By that time, he was one of the best at his job of pillaging bacon. His name then became Bacon, although most didn't like the favoring of this boy in particular. After a year, everyone realized his love for the ocean and seas alike, and his fascianation for boats, as he would stike any down he found more glorious than his own. This lead to his name Boat, and nickanme "Bacon," that over time became known as 'Boat "The Bacon" Harbor."

See? Doesn't it all make sense now?! So, I would REALLY appreciate it if everyone in the group of 8 would refer to him as Boat. That would be wonderful! :D

Well, if my friend can bring his Expansion disc, then I'll be good. But I don't know if that will work for this week. I posted it in the official thread, but my friend (who I am staying with for a week) lent out his Expansion disc. So I'm... kind of screwed. D:

I think we should start fresh without using items.
Otherwise my Assassin will have 8k health...
My sorc has 6k, and +40 sorc skill points.
    That's no fun ^^

    Urghhzzz... (That's me complaining.)
I just came to my friend's house for spring break, so, you know, all week? And it turns out he lent out his Expansion CD. And there is only a small chance that one of our friend's can bring a disc over. So, as far as that goes...
    Damn!

posted a message on Blizzard and Microsoft Xbox?
I'm a computer person. Consoles are great, hell, it got me into Diablo because, well, I had a Playstation before I had a computer, and guess what? Diablo was on the Playstation.
But, I'm a computer person. If anyone has ever played Fable, for instance, on the Xbox then on the computer... quite honestly, playing on the computer was much easier. As such, I don't see why it should go console. If you think that Diablo, or hell, any other game from Blizzard, would be better on a console, in my eyes, you're not true fan!

But! I see the consideration, just don't care for it.

posted a message on Eastern Sun Hamachi Servers
Well, my friend introduced me to this forum, along with Eastern Sun. He, unfortunately, and to my dismay, gets errors to hell and back with his Eastern Sun characters, and can no longer play. With such a depressing situation, single player is back to... well... single player. And as fun as that is with Eastern Sun, there is basically no true fun in it. So I was hoping that people could post their Hamachi servers in here, along with times they can play.

And as far as this thread goes, I know there is an "official" Eastern Sun thread, but that does not get nearly enough attention (or at least I don't think). Also, the servers would get lost in the hundreds of posts, anyway. Organization helps! ^^
The farther along, if at all, the posts for servers gets I'll add them to the list.

Also, if someone does not know how to join a TCP/IP game with Hamachi, I will gladly explain how it works, if requested.

Remember: Hamachi names and passwords are CASE SENSITIVE!

    Name: Moon Empire
    Password: unknown
Times: Ranges from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM (Weekdays, Pacific Time)

    Name: SICK ES SERVER
    Password: sicksilver

we killed the host, we never actually killed diablo's spirit thats how he was able to come back, in order to kill him we have to go down to the void?(forgot what the place was called were demons are send when u kill them) and destroy his soul.

I always wondered about his soul. As I said, in the first one his soulstone was put into the characters head, turning them into Diablo. But in 2, when we killed Diablo the soulstone wasn't there, and actually, if you looked, still in his burnt, crispy looking corpse. Why did the story line let us leave what caused the world's trouble in the first place laying in the ground in a place full of demons?!

And how many times did we kill Diablo? Uhh.. Two! And D3 will make third time! Lol, that always cracks me up.

    Btw, did write it.

We killed two separate Diablos, though! First one was the original. After that the character plunges the demon's soulstone into their head, thus the second Diablo.
In Diablo 3, the trailer shows the demons coming from... a meteor? I don't know about Diablo... again.

Or maybe... And this is a long shot here...
Diablo is from space! And his comrades are angry that he has perished! They are sending reinforcements!
    AGGHAGGHH!

I don't think Gris will come back. We killed him once before, and that was pretty convincing. However, what about any of the other vendors from Diablo 1?

Is anyone else getting mass error messages every once in awhile?

This is the third time I've uninstalled and reinstalled.. I keep getting these "unable to enter game, bad header" messages when I try to enter a game with my character. It happens a lot to me and I've recently found a solution that makes it work fine for awhile.. Then it just comes again for no reason. I got to Act V Nightmare with a level 68 Sorceress too.. Fack. :|

I've completely uninstalled Diablo II from my computer now in hopes that might get rid of the error messages, except I found out I gave my D2 Play disc to my friend.. so I have to wait to even play Diablo II at all.. :|

Since you never appear on MSN, I can't talk to you. And I know you will check this thread for an answer, so:
I'm going to mess with the D2X character file to see how actually important it is. If you rename it with another character that does not have the bad header error, then the player works fine. For a time. But if you rename other files, a lot of times you get a corrupted character file, which leads me to believe that the D2X file is a less important file that gets refreshed every time you enter a game with the character. I'm assuming that if this is true, IF, then deleting it will get rid of the bad header and when you join a game it will be refreshed as new and you will not have the problem anymore. But since I do not have the error, I can't really say it works or not.
