Quote fromA superstition I had way back when I was playing a lot and had my mf characters around 2002 was to never make a town portal on the same level as a boss. So for example I always did meph runs and I would set my tp on the durance level 2, never level 3. Don't know if that ever acctually did anything though! haha
Lmao, yeah I did that too. And some people would get HEATED if you opened one up in Baal's Chamber.

Unless the last class is the Bandit we have seen a pic of. Which I think would be awesome.

Ugh... just reminds me how slow arrows go in the diablo series. Always been a pet peeve of mine. Arrows should fly fast. Then it would be alright to slow them down with a skill. But if they keep the same speed, plus you slow them more, you might as well have slow missile triggered...
Imo, arrows should fly faster than the D2 arrows, but not as fast as the TL arrows. Right in between would be great.

Now, at the risk of upsetting people, dare I say I like it better than ww? Now hear me out. WW is one of my favorite skills in D2, in fact my wwsin was one of my fav chars to duel with, but it always bothered me that I was supposed to believe he was spinning like a freaking tasmanian devil all over the place, somehow not puking all over the monsters and still being able to tell which direction to go, etc. It just never seemed right to me, but I loved how much it owned, so I put it out of my head.
But now along comes devastate, and I really like it. Torchlight is ok, though obviously nothing compared to D3 (or D2, or D1) but they had a great idea in devastate. I would love to see the D3 barb use something like it. What do you guys think? I think Blizzard would make it way better, and it would be a good contrast to ww, where ww is just a chaotic flurry of steel, the new-and-improved devastate would be more of a serious of well placed blows designed to keep you moving out of your opponents reach at the same time.
Obviously this is just something I think would be cool, as I'm pretty sure they pretty much have the barb all figured out, but I'm just curious if anyone agrees with me?

Oh snap!
Anyway, as has been discussed many-a-time, humans in Sanctuary are already half-demon, half-angel, so yeah...

:offtopic:Everytime I read one of your posts, all I can think about is Speed Racer saying the lines...

Everytime I click on the ES shortcut, it says "The install folder must be under your Diablo II folder" What the hell does that mean? I thought I followed the instructions on the sight, but I'm not too good with computers, so I would really appreciate a dumbed-down answer to my problem.
I do not have a copy of LoD in the drive, as I lost my disc and have loaded LoD from Blizzstore. The latest version of ES says I need the disc in the drive, but that was before you could download it like that. Think that matters?

Sometimes lag was to blame though. I would click a gem or rune in my inventory, then click an empty space in my stash to put it there, but the game was lagging, so I really clicked next to that spot, where I had my 3os 15%ed archon plate, and whoops, there goes my nigma...
Very true, good point.
Nicely done, sir, I agree. So it would cost money, and it would perma-damage the item by about 10%, and lower the quality of the gem one tier. I think this would be an acceptable price and not make people re-use the same gems/items over and over. Someone call Bashiok!

Lol sorry Equinox, musta missed it somehow. I frequently check posts when tired, probably shouldn't. I really do like this idea, I would be psyched if they added it.

^This. Love this idea. I always thought that it should be that way. Would add sooo many more build options.

Reminds me of the Paragons from Guild Wars. I barely played it, and I know tha Paragons weren't that great or used that much, but I really liked playing them. For those of you that haven't played GW, Paragons used mainly javalins/shields, and had angelic party buffs. He was basically a pally/zon/barb mix, and pretty fun to play.
