Patch 2.4 is bound to be one of the most fun versions of D3 to date, with lots of varied end-game activities and tons of mini-quests/goals to pursue. If you did not enjoy Patch 2.3, I'd give a chance to 2.4 
you might have a good time with it.

At first I had the general Season Journey goals in the voting options, so that players could tell us exactly how far they made in the Season Journey. Then I changed it to contain goals like "I got the cosmetic rewards I wanted" and "I was able to gear up for GR/T(z)".. or something along those lines.It felt a bit disconnected from the player's experience with the Season. I wanted something simple enough that everyone could chime in, and that offered some engagement with our users. Hence the 0 - 30 - 60 - 100% simplified format, while asking for players to elaborate on the comment section. The disguised % format allows users to gauge their own preset goals and they can comment on what they managed to achieve or not.That's my perspective on why the poll was made in a somewhat simple manner, without focusing on a specific part of the playerbase. @philosophios fair enough. I guess I didn't even consider that lol. I'd maybe argue that most players who don't really dedicate many hours a day want to at least be able to have fun with the "big guys" in T10 in public games - hence the "starter T10" notion. For these players I'd even argue that "wrecking" T10 makes the game boring, and that having a challenge with it is what they want and expect.
But your point is very reasonable and makes perfect sense

Generally speaking the LoN builds, Locust WD and others we've featured in the past are good "starting point" builds for T10. Since we've previously featured those, I figured we could use a more high end T10 build - something players who play a lot more can look forward to setting up if they want an optimized T10 farming setup (for whatever reason).
Thanks for the feedback tho! I'll make sure we highlight more "starter" builds for getting to T10, with slightly lower requirements.

Not at all.Back in the day users posted similar comments about us featuring his videos, since they're usually a little more light hearted and meant for a different audience than your average "ultra hardcore top GR Quin build" video. The usual comment was that the contents of his videos were too "bland" for most players. But since then I think the public opinion shifted a bit, with players seeing more value in his videos, and even appreciating them - at least judging from the comments posted on Youtube, feedback and votes (thumbs up/down).Just like with every other video or community made content that we highlight here on DiabloFans (Anthony Evans, Rhykker, Deadset, Quin, philosophios, Alkaizer, Jaetch, mannercookie... cosplays, fanarts) the point is giving visibility to anyone who contributes with Diablo related content - and who puts their time and effort towards helping the community
With that clarified, is there any sort feedback you would like to give about this particular video? Something you particularly disliked about it? Does it contain content you deem incorrect or not worth of a player's time? No sarcasm intended - I'm really interested in knowing it. -

@Tybudd there are dates for both there. The reason they're separate is because they probably don't want to apply the new Patch before ending Season 4, as that has caused a massive (negative) backlash and impact on leaderboards in the past.
They also don't want to have a patch deploy at the exact same date as a Season starts (S5) because they would rather make sure there are no gamebreaking bugs or other big issues right as a season begins. And maybe to give players some time to adapt to the new content and features. Hence the 2 week delay between the dates.

Sometimes new datamined information (textures, numbers, names, powers) are not used in the PTR patch, let alone in the live version. It's actually quite common. -

Yeah those were a typo. They were supposed to be "up from" - it's fixed now.
I'm not sure if you are confused about the typo or the actual meaning of the changes / set bonuses. If it's the latter, then the first set bonus is the increase to the Sentries' own damage, while the second bonus is granted to your Hatred Spenders (and Companions + Vengeance) per active Sentry.

@Darials I really doubt it since it's such a short maintenance and there's still quite a lot to be tested on the PTR (specially with the latest datamined patch not being deployed yet).

Yup, we've featured him recently as well. I believe he's still working on finishing his guides and some are still missing, while Thang N's are complete (afraik). It's also meant to be an alternative since we've had people say they dislike Quin's videos or style, so really just to provide another source of information

if they're preparing the live version to receive Patch 2.4, maybe their planned released date is not late January / early February. Pure speculation though, I could be wrong... -

@Tybudd I knew that but really liked the way Anthony presented the build and his version of it (compared to others I had seen around). And I think the build is still pretty valid and viable even after the nerf
Even if the build has only 70-80% of the efficiency it had before, if this gets people who enjoy Pet builds hyped, I think it has fulfilled its purpose

Wow, I never thought that image from the video would cause such a negative backlash. For those who felt offended by it, my sincere apologies - it was definitely not our intention (or Quin's, I believe) to make fun of suicides or anything like that. It's just a part of the video that's meant to be funny, and that was chosen to be its thumbnail. From the sound in the video, the "gun" even seems to be a toy and not a real (unloaded) weapon.
I've removed the video embed and replaced it with a screenshot that links to the actual video. This way people don't have to look at what they don't want. Once again, sorry for those who felt offended by this. I honestly thought it was an absolutely harmless joke.

Let's see if we can get a community effort going in getitng the DFans back to a state where people can log in and know they'll find like-minded people to play with! Mid and high GRs, Hellfire farming, T6 quick runs, bounty runs, powerleveling, starting from scratch - whatever they feel like doing.

As soon as I'm properly geared up I'll be running GR groups, T6 Rifts and powerlevel people whenever I have time as well

What exactly are you writing on your comment/post - do you think you could try either posting it in this thread or sending it through PM to me?
In case your post contains some non-latin unicode elements, it could be our anti-spam measures trying to prevent posts similar to spam. But ideally that shouldn't happen. Maybe try sending/posting it in parts so that we can identify why you're not being able to post it. Like I said, we're gonna need a little more context to work with.

I think I agree with you - this has served its purpose.
People have said what they wanted, some even bashed MC, and I've kinda left this untouched for the sake of freedom of speech. But I think the conversation has reached its "productive" limit. Thanks MC for handling it all without breaking the rules or flaming people, and for all the clarifications!
