Quote fromI'm gonna guess a generic "Ranger" class because we've already had Rogue/Amazon/Druid and they need a ranged fighter and a nature-magic user, and "Ranger" covers both of those. Actually, I have a theory they're gonna have 6 classes in the game because at this point the game is mostly likely not coming out until 2011, which gives them more time, and I'm sure they have too many ideas to fit into 5 classes.
They are probably going to have 7 classes, like last time, with two being part of the expansion.
There's no reason for the monk to not be the range character.
He could fill the holy/range part just fine.

Naw.
There are somethings that cannot be defined as music, no matter how liberal your definition of music is.
Rap comes to mind.

I'm personally betting on the fifth class to be a general class with balanced characteristics.
The rogue seems most likely.

That can't be Diablo. It must be Andarial.

I think it's better to leave that responsibility up to the player. You should have learned the first time out that a monster can become immune to a particular attack and had a back up plan, like being equally proficient in two forms of attack.
But no matter what Blizzard does, there will always be somebody who believes that they know better how it should have been done.

An easy solution to that is to start out on the absolute toughest level.
Do it hard-core and there will be no repeats.

Most people generally bumped up their stats the same way anyway, giving more mana energy to the magic using characters or giving more strength to the barbarian so he use a bigger weapon or get better armor.
If the new rune system works how I think it's going to work, you're going to have more variety then you know what to do with.

It's possible that it might have been an NPC in D2.

This was probably one of the problems with D2, people collecting worthless weapons and junk just to collect the gold.
Depending on how easy it will be to get back to town, this is one adjustment I could like. Although, admittedly, I'm going to hate being stuck having to attack a major monster and have only one potion and/or strike to do it and no way out.

I'm sorry, but with the release of the Monk, it's a little bit too early for analytical discussions.
And it's at least a year before the fifth character is going to be release, so you can probably bring this up again in a couple of months and the excitement will probably have worn off by then for such a discussion.

We don't care about your logic.
We only care about the fifth class.

I'm betting the last class is going to be a balanced class, capable of doing a little bit of everything.
I"ve concluded that the fifth class, but not final because the expansion will add more characters, is going to be the bard.

IN the initial release, but the expansions always allows for more.
We could see as many as nine in the end.

1. They need an archer.
2. All the characters this game are fairly specialized, but usually there is one that is a bit of a jack of all trades.
3. The fifth character is a returning character.
I daresay that we might see the return of the bard, a highly underused character the first game.

Don't be a wimp.
Die with pride!
Somebody will be able to figure something out about the game to compensate for this loss.

Hey, don't give up hope.
There's always Diablo 4 in 2027,
