They are probably going to have 7 classes, like last time, with two being part of the expansion.
There's no reason for the monk to not be the range character.
He could fill the holy/range part just fine.

His skill tree (or whatever it will be in D3) would have to compensate for it, but I'd play the character.

I'm new. I just wanted to have a say in forced levelling.
I don't think it should be done. If I want to try and attack an area with an underpowered character, I should have that right.
I've found it kind of an interesting challenge to take a low-level character into the toughest level possible, maybe have him die several times before finding success.
