Slings suck. Great weapon for a low level enemy. Like those little boogers that run away from you in the 3rd act of D2. Definitly NOT good for a playable character.
1) Although this idea could be very lame, a Nobleman of some sort. Someone brought up with an aristocratic background. Proficient with light weapons (Rapier) and rapid attack/parry abilities. This character class could be quick enough to have a counter attack ability. Could potentially use Alchamy/Science as well. Potions, mechanized traps, etc. This would also give the game a decidedly European character that everyone has been wanting. The only issue here is, would this character's abilities be too close to the Assassin of LOD?
2) How about a Non-Human Character? Centaur, Minotaur, Half-Demon, etc. Humans are fine but it seems like the old character classes have been so outdone.
