It's not Diablo. A healing class just is not right. In WoW, sure. It's an MMO, it's supposed to be played online. But Diablo is primarily single-player, even though a lot of people say it's not, it is. A healing class would be extremely hard to play through the entire Diablo 3 campaiqn in singleplayer.
Well, with so many newcomers to consoles (as in the younger generations), would they even want to play Diablo games?
Diablo 2 is like from 2000/2001 isn't it? Most kids 15 and under are probably not aware of what Diablo is unless they studied Blizzard's background after having played WoW (if they play PC games).
Oi! I'm 15 and my first Blizzard game was Diablo, tyvm. I find WoW to be disgusting. Only because it takes the Warcraft lore and guts it. Then EATS the guts. Then craps them out and sets them on fire.
And, dude above me. The Playstation controller has 10 buttons. Not including directional arrows.
I like the idea, however unless all the guardians are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay weak, it would be overpowered. I like the idea though. It would seem that it would make your main character really weak for it to be balanced. I think you should start out with one, and have a skill devoted to getting more, another to get more damage and health and so on. I'd have so many by the end Diablo would be swarmed. And have different types. A caster, a ranger, and a melee. Maaaaaaan... They're definitely not going to do this, but it would be so beast...
From reading Sin Wars I don't think the High Heavens are a place that people go to in reward for living The Good Life.
Also, I got the impression from the books that Angels are composed of light and sound.
Inarius mentions how a mural in his cathedral was, and I'm paraphrasing here, "well made for humans, but pales in comparison to such things in the high heavens."
I would imagine the High Heavens being composed of many floating islands that are composed of light and sounds, and that wherever you went there would always be music playing because all the inhabitants of the realm are composed partially of sound.
The High Heavens would likely view a mortal incursion as either an invasion or an affront. It would definitely be perceived to be a violation of the pact made with the Burning Hells with regard to the non-interference in Sanctuary.
I'm not sure how mortals would get to heaven, but since there are portals to the Burning Hells I assume there are also portals to the High Heavens.
I just realised I'm commenting about a month after the person before me. Bah! Whatever...
Perhaps it's just me, but the books really weren't all that interesting, and didn't hook me. I wasn't drawn into them the way I am with Steven King (who gets carried away quite often, describing every FREAKING thing in the room, including the dust, the copious amounts of dust...). The descriptive language was average, and the author should have picked up a thesaurus. It's been a while, but there was something else that bugged me... I can't remember right now, I'll go look at them later on.
Closest thing to this I would like, is that, as you find pieces to a set, they combine. Instead of having the armor and the weapon and the helmet etcetc. It all just combines into one item, it would take up only slightly less space, but look awesome. And you'd be able to put it on like armor. I'd like that
I've been wondering this myself. I've wanted to play it through with a Barbarian guy, just so I can have a 99 (or whatever max on Diablo was, never played long enough to reach it) Barb in all 3 games. But I looked it up and it was tre expensive. Idk if I want to spend that much on a game that wasn't even made by blizzard.
