Most of you seemed interested in playing USEast so we'll be playing Softcore Ladder on USEast, although that doesn't mean we can't create squads within the clan for Hardcore. Oh one last thing. Tags will not be mandatory although you may tag yourself if you wish.

Alright so I tried to make a list but the other thread is filled with off-topic garble. SO.. I'm making a new thread.

This thread is to form a clan together. Since no one has stepped forward in organizing it I've decided to get it going. I don't suggest I lead it 'cause I'm new here and some of you might be opposed to it so for the moment just consider myself an organizer and we'll deal with the leadership issue soon.

We'll be using the site http://www.fallenangelsx.com which has the perfect theme for a Diablo-based clan and is entirely paid for by the WoW leadership and other donaters. I am an admin of this rather dead, but once thriving, clan site and creating a new division for D2 won't be a problem. [Note: The site is now up and running and anyone who is playing D2 THIS season is welcome to join us.]

The WoW leadership may let us use their Vent server but if we have too many members interested we may all have to pitch in ourselves. A 25-man server is only $10/ month. I'm willing to pay that but if we need a bigger one I'll have to ask for donations. It's only $0.40 a slot so I'm sure some of you could afford to pitch in $1 for your slot and someone less fortunate than yourself. The vent thing is totally optional and may not happen. I know money starts to scare people away.

This would be a great way to organize things and keep everyone here all together. We all know the friends list on b-net fills up fast. What better way to organize everyone?

If you have ideas, would like to contribute somehow, have past leadership experience and are willing to lead, please PM me.

You can make a really cheap life leech tank which works well with a light sorc. My personal fav is a 2x Shaeled Bonehew along with Andy's Visage and whatever armor you can find with life leech. Stealskull works as a temp I suppose.

Indeed MF'ing with a blizz sorc has always been my favourite but I ALWAYS use a light sorc to MF now. My main reason is the cold/fire immunes in Hell. I can do a lot more with a light sorc and a good merc. I disagree with the light sorc only working with Infinity. You should definitely be working towards that but the light sorc was always the first char I'd make and it still worked well in getting me that infinity.

I've been lurking here for awhile now but at the mention of creating a clan signed up.

Myself and a couple of friends intend to start up chars when the ladder resets but if you're all interested I'm an admin on a clan site which is hardly in use. Could use the site and forums and it would be no problem to re-create a Diablo II division (we used to have one). The site even goes perfectly with the Diablo theme. I'd definitely be interested to start a clan with those leader types which have already mentioned their interest in this thread. I'd also be just as willing to set up the division page and forums and let whomever take the reigns. That last bit depends on when the patch releases and how busy I am at the time. Think about it.

And who knows. Maybe somewhere down the road if it's still alive and kicking we'll have somewhere to stay for D3.

Edit: I also have access to a few Vent servers we could probably use if no one else has one I could most likely get permission to use them or perhaps split the costs between a few people and get our own.
